Man, Ashton must have gotten the shock of his life when they revealed Paldean Wooper
i know right
We're also getting 3 regional tauros. This video predicted the future
@@Bonklyboi let’s see deku
Yeah
Ye lol
The Gigalith ghost/rock idea would be interesting. In the Shield Pokédex, I'm pretty sure it says something about Gigalith using sunlight to shoot powerful beams. Having a form do that with moonlight or spiritual energy would be cool
That is ultra moon, but same premise.
The ground fairy would be better since the red crystals poking from gigalith could easily be changed to like purple, blue, etc like real crystals
I think the Rock/ghost combo should be for a regional variant of golurk based on la dama de Elche
@Victor Flores-Hernandez and the fairy type already has a few moon related moves so that connection than still works
@@DigiBrad maybe it could be that clefairy mistakes gigalith’s new crystals for moon stones and are always trying to attack it to get moon stones to evolve
Everything this video predicted-:
Paldean Wooper/Clodsire
Paldean Tauros
Mikey wanted Electric/Flying and we got Kilowattrel
Mikey wanted Grass/Fire and we got Scovillain
Gen 2 Pokemon got attention, like Farigiraf and Dudunsparce
Gallade and Gardevoir future fusion in the form of Iron Valiant
Funny thing is, Paldean Tauros is literally fighting type
F THAT LAME GERAFF POKÉMON
Don’t forget dudunsparce
@@TD_Clockwork I did mention it. Check properly.
@@haydenfantasticfan3251 I love the giraffe pokemon how dare you. So not cool bro
Coming from the future, the fact that some of these actually happened makes me happy
11:17 Captain Teedo: I want a jack-o-lantern Pokémon, maybe a Gengar regional form.
Mikey: Make it a new Pokémon.
Pumpkaboo & Gourgeist: Are we a joke to you?
A Grass/Fire Regional of this line could be cool.
"Dragonite won't lose its Dragon-type, it has Dragon in the name."
The Kantonian birds would like a word with you.
As for the Fire/Grass jack-o-lantern Pokémon, I think Gourgeist could take that honor with either an evolution, regional variant, or even just an ability that either changes its form or boosts its Fire-type attacks.
Tbf in their names they only reference their main types (the elemental ones) instead of the Flying type, they are still birds but not every bird is a flying t-... 🤔
Edit: Took a moment to think about it and now I remember that Decidueye (both forms) dropped the flying type so they do exist (Altaria when it's the Mega too but I'll omit it)
Flying type isn’t bird type that’s the difference
I was thinking of pumpkaboo when that grass/fire comment came and thank you someone commented it and a new evolution would be better I think.
Yeah good point. I just think gourgeist turning into grass fire wouldn't be too big of a change
Sandslash too
I was recently thinking about how cool it would be if in another Pokémon Legends game, Dragonite got a Dragon/Water regional variant that looks like Dragonite, but with Dragonair's color and style (the feather ear things and blue sphere on its neck). And there's an explanation as to why Dragonite no longer looks like that
Pokedex talks about the Dreepy-Dragapult line being ghosts of dragons that once traveled a vast ocean, a Legends:Arceus style anceint Galar with a Water/Dragon variant of the Dreepy line would be awesome, they could have harpoon like dreepy.
Bit late to the party, but yeah it could easily have evolved from underwater pokemon to flying - would have been insane. Could also justify the color change due to UV rays or something, don't know the specifics, but I guess they UV rays behave and affect differently above and underneath the water surface
@@redox4604 don't give me some BS and try to say someone else has talked about that a lot
@@kevrink5605 Uhm, I didn't? I agreed with what you said?
@@redox4604 you said "bit late to the party" like people have already talked about it
1:12 Ashton probably freaked out when he saw the latest trailer
Yep
regarding the jack-o'-lantern: we already have gourgeist. on top of that, the huge amount of fire type moves it already gets would make it easy to give gourgeist a fire/grass regional variant.
I know i got irrationally angry especially bc i love pumpkaboo and gourgeist. But it works so well as a ghost type already. Maybe the reigonal form gives it a ghost-stab ability
I wouldn’t like it because regional variants are supposed to get creative giving it opposite elements (for example ice type sandshrew) gourgeist already having fire type moves makes the fire type variant just uncreative.
I think a regional variant Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist would work!
Since Day of the Dead is celebrated in Spain, why not have a regional variant of the two Pokemon, but the pumpkins could be designed to look like sugar skulls, a kind of candy that's decorated for Day of the Dead?
Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist Regional Variants could even have a cool backstory! They could be rumored to be the spirits of the departed family member or friend that inhabits a sugar skull, thus becoming a Pumpkaboo, and could be the guardians of said family and/or friend.
And the reason for Gourgeist's evolution could be explained as high love and friendship from it's trainer, like how families would give their love to the departed when visiting their graves and clean/decorate them, a tradition on Day of the Dead.
I would love to see yanmega get something since it wasn't in sword and shield and it would be cool if yanmega got the dark or ghost type.
I would like to see a mimikyu regional variant
Fun fact, thunder armor, while silly, makes some sense.
Pikachu caused Swellow to become paralyzed and so Swellow got the Guts boost from it.
Sure, there is added silliness from the thunder armor that makes it stupid, but it can be interpreted as just making use of Swellow's ability.
or maybe because pikachu absorbed thunder and then gently transfered it to the electrons in swellows nerves causing it to become enrgized and stronger
That actually does make sense for Swellow, but Pikachu also got the thunder armour didn’t he? How does that work?
@@daneroberts1996
That is the part that is anime BS associated with something that only kinda makes sense from a mechanics standpoint.
i haven’t seen anyone in the comments mention this yet, so i’m just gonna mention that, regarding a regional wooper ( 1:39 ), an idea i had was to give it an alternate evolution that is inspired by an Olm! an olm is kind of a cousin to the axolotl, but it’s longer and has no eyes as a result of living lower down in the ocean than the axolotl! i can see this evolution being water/dark, water/psychic, water/ghost, or even water/dragon!
Watching this vid after Scarlet & Violet came out and realizing that some of these people's wishes actually came true is so nice. Especially Ashton with Paldean Wooper.
Guts Facade Swellow is actually really terrifying, and I'm pretty sure the "thunder armour" was just Swellow's guts activating off paralysis.
Obviously
THANK YOU!
@@colorweaver5070 I never thought of that, Swellow was like "Armour UP!! and by armour I mean POWER!!"
Choice Specs Boomburst Swellow is even more terrifying
Nah, that was just anime bullshit. The other times we see guts activate that doesnt happen
The "Thunder armor" thing in the anime actually goes back to a scrapped game mechanic in Ruby and Saphire where Pokemon could perform combo moves in double battles. I guess it would have made more sense in context, or maybe they halfheartedly changed the scene after learning that the feature wouldn't be in the game.
Really? I thought it was based on the fact that swellow gets guts and it’s ability gets activated
So basically Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga
I would love to have a variant for Hawlucha. It would fit really well with the Spain theme. A new baby form or a new evolution for it would be really cool.
true
yeah i want a bulky luchador eagle
We REALLY need a Fire-Fairy type!!!
Lucario shouldn't get a regional variation until an Egypt region. When that happens then a ghost ground regional variation of Lucario would be dope.
Or maybe Dark considering it's based on Anubis, the Egyptian God of Death if I recall, but now that I think about it Ghost works better in that aspect honestly. Maybe another Ghost/Dark type?
@@vivaviva3617 that is exactly what i was going to say
Lucario is a god
Anubis Lucario would be boss
@@vivaviva3617
I thought Ghost because of the Anubis connection and chose Ground for the desert sand, though I guess other type combinations could work.
I figured that doing a Ghost-Ground could also fit with keeping some similarities with Lucario's Fighting-Steel.
Switch the Fighting with Ghost for the primary difference, and then Steel can be switched to Ground for the similarities (as replacing the Steel gets a more ancient vibe but with Ground it can keep a familiar feel).
I think a great idea for the regional bird would be a hummingbird styled Pokémon. Being a grass/flying with an insane speed and physical attack stat but also being vary fragile
I was thinking a speedy physical/special grass/flying type and to get some viability it could get a ability like it becomes faster in sunlight increasing speed and evasion or it gains health with the use of a grass move
1:11 they must be so happy when Wooper actually got one
To Ashton, I hope you're happy about Wooper getting that new Paldean regional form!!!
In addition, Taillow and Gliscor might have the potential of harnessing an electric tera type, so while they aren't regional variants, it's still exciting!
Fun fact about Venonant and Venomoth: they haven't appeared in a regional dex since GSC, but even then they were only found in Kanto. They're (I believe) the only gen 1 Pokemon to only be found in Kanto.
Extremely sad.
And the complete opposite with charizard it had been in every game until finally it wasn’t in PLA.
Is venonat not in Johto region? I swear I remember it being in there.
@@yveltal1071 I don’t think you could get a Charizard in gen 5, or ORAS at least. This guy is saying the only games you could catch these two in is the Kanto and Jhoto region
Nah you can get Venonat in the Bug Catching Contest, and I think also just south of the lake of rage?
A dragon-fairy type Dragonite would be interesting, it's a typing we haven't had, and Dragonite's design is already cute enough, that I feel it wouldn't be too hard to tweak.
and we know that all dragonites aren’t mean. ash’s dragonite shows this by being extremely kind. So I think this should stand!

Ashton after the trailer probably was excited to see the new regional Wooper for SCAR and VIO
How about a castform variant where, instead of weather changing its form, terrain changes its form.
Electric terrain = Electric-type
Grassy terrain = Grass-type
Psychic terrain = Psychic-type
Misty terrain = Fairy-type
This idea would be better if Galarian Stunfisk doesn't already exist with the gimmick unfortunately
Instead of weather ball give it terrain pulse!
Wouldn't it.....still be a Normal type in order to change it's type to the terrain.
Grass/rock is actually a solid type it synergizes well… grass removes rocks weakness to ground and water….and rock removes grasses weakness to flying, poison, fire…. Meaning this Pokémon is only weak to steel, bug, fighting and ice…. And can deal supereffective damage to ice, fire, flying, bug, ground, rock, water….

Maractus and Cacturne definitely deserve some attention. I think Baltoy and Claydol also needs some sort of love or variant too. And Ledian! Ledian is one of the coolest bug types imo and I would love to see it get a signature move or new evolution or something.
I would love to see one of my fav Pokémon, Lanturn, get a regional form that’s water/fire dual type! 😍 I feel like the aesthetic could be super cool and pay homage to Spanish ornate lanterns with the flames.
The golden armor is literally how the anime decided to depict the Guts ability…..bold for ash to think that thunderbolt was a guaranteed paralyze
When he was talking about the Pokémon who got regional forms who already had special attention, I was surprised he didn't mention Meowth, who got a regional form, a new evolution and a gigantamax form right after the generation that gave it a regional form
It's actually gotten two regional variants don't forget the chubby Persian and the Viking version which evolves into perserker
@@lunethheart I said that it got a regional form and evolution the generation after it already got a regional form 👍
It's all for including in anime
I’m surprised we only got 2 regional variants in scarlet/violet (excluding convergent evolutions and paradox pokemon)
I suppose convergent evolutions and paradox mons were pretty good placeholders, though
A regional variant of tropius based on the sandbox tree would be cool, the fruits of the tree commonly explode and the sap is acidic and can cause blindness, a fire grass type, grass ghost or flying ghost type could all fit, you could even give it a dark type as, previously stated, it can cause blindness.
Unpopular opinion: Gen 5 really gets the short end of the stick despite being a good gen (like all of them are). For example, only Auidino got a mega despite nearly EVERY OTHER gen 5 Mon being a better candidate. Garbodor technically got "attention" due to its gigantimax, but let's be honest. It was to dunk on garbodor for being a pile of trash. Reuniclus, Hydreigon, Elektross, Volcarona, Vanilluxe, Mandibuzz, Serperior, Emboar, Stoutland (just to name a few), should all get something in the future.
Anyway, sorry about the rant, but I wanted to say that. Great video as always.
Edit (A): Some of you are adding to my list of gen 5 mons that deserve more love because I missed them. I appreciate this behavior, but I explicitly said "just to name a few" in order to prevent things like that from happening. I mean no offense to anyone, I just wanted to clear that up.
Edit (B): After more carefully reading each reply, I think I unknowingly started a war. So... I am so sorry.
reuniclus would be an interesting option, it's a pretty good special attacker with good hp, but it needs better defense or special defense
Not every gen is a good gen LMAO
Soo are we ignoring all the gen 5 regional forms(and Basculegion) or.....
@@emilstoqanov3270 I'm pretty sure they're not given how Samurott wasn't mentioned for mons who could possibly get something in the future but the other 2 starters were plus I'm pretty sure he's referring to the attention that gen 5 gets overall which doesn't really come close to what the other gen 5s have gotten
Oh man serperior would be sick
Personally I would love to see more chess themed regional evolutions for Pawninard. Maybe a Centaur Knight regional evolution based on Spanish knights like Don Quixote. Make its type Steel/Fighting.
I was thinking on a bishop evo that its psychic or fairy but it already is a bishop.
Just jot really bishopy
Seeing as Bisharp is my favorite Pokémon I approve of this
I'd argue Steel Fairy
@@rabeechowdhury I’d save that for a Queen Pawninard evolution
Awesome vid, and I did like the "Fire, no it's water ground" joke. Keep it up Michael!
I thought of a gogoat evo that would be like scizor, where the stat total doesn’t change but the spread does. I would call it gogantic and it would be grass rock and have huge rocky hoofs and be a combination of a mountain goat and a literal mountain. It would be slower and more defensive but with a bad typing (defensively) to balance it out. Gogoat is my favorite it needs love.
That Pokémon that looks different depending on the location could be a regional tropius. Depending on the location it will have a different fruit, and look different entirely.
They could totally give my boy like 3 or 4 fruit forms
Orange for Scarlet, Grape for Violet, different Stat Spreads, I'm game.
I've always wanted something like this, kind of like something similar to Sawsbucks, I would change this look depending on where/when its at
4:18 I completely agree. Lucario is my favorite Pokemon, but has been in the spotlight far too long, especially since Lucario is seemingly Ash's ace in Journeys and already has a Mega.
Also it has been S tier all along in Pokemon unite (a very good Pokemon game with very good popularity) and it's very much talked about and played by soo many people in the world
I love Lucario
It's moveset and it's Aura abilities are fantastic
I don't think Lucario's gonna get a regional form. It's already been confirmed for Scarlet and Violet and it's in it's normal form.
Also if they were to give it a regional form it should be done in an Egyptian region as it's based of Anubis
Hey, could you (for no reason) add two more seconds to that number?
They predicted Paldean Tarous for being a Fighting Type
3:00 everyone forgets that swellow has guts
An interesting idea concerning Yveltal getting a regional form: Imagine a DLC for Scarlet/Violet which takes us back to the Kalos region (spain, france, real life borders, we all know this), or at least to an area of southern Kalos we didn't get to see in X/Y, where Xerneas and Yveltal are for whatever reason moving or being brought closer to the new region. If the leaks about type-changing gimmicks is true, then spinning a narrative that as Xerneas and Yveltal get closer to the new region, whatever effect it is that allows Pokemon to change types starts affecting them, and we wind up with cool new forms for them as essentially the mascot legendaries of this DLC. Imagine Yveltal becoming a benevolent, kind Fairy/Flying type, while Xerneas' antlers grow and sharpen and it becomes a Dark type.
Absolutely never going to happen, but fun speculation that doesn't feel too far off feasibility.
yeah and maybe the "Legends" trend will continue to Legends Kyurem then into Legends Zygarde and maybe we can see it there
@@shish4933 honestly, I'd prefer legends kyurem first, see the original legendary dragon
Interesting, don't get me wrong, but I don't think I could see them going to other regions as DLC, I think Nintendo is far more likely to just make side-games like Legends or remakes when they want to revisit regions. I think the DLC trend from SWSH will continue, but probably in a similar manner, in which you visit a new area of the same region and get some extra pokemon/forms/story.
@@austinhays2452 WE NEED THIS!!!!!!! I would love to see the original dragon, that would be so cool!
Kalos needs some love, I would love to see this !!!
Tauros would be PERFECT! The new region appears to be Spanish or something similar seeming, so a matador themed Pokémon choice would be amazing.
Maybe a normal fighting or dark fighting Tauros that learns a bunch of sword and horn moves and an ability that boost them in this case the Tauros wod be the bull and the matador
AGREEED
Grass/ fighting..to go with the tomato festival too
In my custom Pokémon region, the Fleura Region (based on the Sunshine State), we have two new types: Cosmic and Sound. You can actually go to the moon to get Cosmic Pokemon cuz Florida is well known for Space Coast, and I gave the type not only to new Pokémon but to older ones as well.
Maractus in particular was a Pokémon I thought needed some love because it's a very cute but very forgettable Pokémon, so I gave it the Sound Type and a new signature move "Fiesta," which acts sort of like Uproar in that no Pokémon can sleep during this time. It also has the added benefit of a decent chance of confusing the opponent as it goes on. It would be a special move.
Another Pokémon that gets a new type is Elgyem and Beeheyem, which I changed from Psychic to Cosmic. Yes, I know it's strange to remove an excellent offensive type, but Cosmic is also an excellent defensive type, weak only to itself and Dragon, while also being immune both to Fire and to the new Sound type.
I think a regional tauros would be cool. Mmm yes good start.
I’ve been asking for a bug/dragon type for as long as I can remember, specially a bug/dragon variant of Flygon, which I think would be awesome since its entire evolution line already gives that bug type vibe.
You know who else gives that "bug type vibe."? Drapion and yet he's still Poison/Dark and not Poison/Bug even though Skorupi is.
@@TheTakato122 to be honest poison dark is way more better than poison bug, so i don't really care about it
Yanmega also gives those vibes of "Monster with bug appareance"
yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That or Yanmega, I super love Flygon but I'd rather see a boosted form from a new gimmick for it rather than regional variant. I'd like to power up my existing Flygon all the way back from Emerald, not replace him with a new Flygon. On the other hand, any Flygon attention would be happily accepted.
13:04 Adding on to this, what if they made some of those fruits into items in the games, allowing you to level up a tropius holding one of these fruits to evolve it with a sort of alcremie aspect to it, meaning that the tropius evolution would have an aesthetic change to its appearance, or even make the tropius evolution a different type and different pokemon entirely depending on the fruit that tropius was given.
15:25 Agreed, maybe like a forest fire chikorita line (grass/fire), a steam cyndaquil line (fire/water), and a marsh/swamp totodile line (water/grass) would be pretty neat
13:35 I was literally today years old when I realized Tropius has bananas on it
I NEVER noticed that how have I managed to not see the little banana beard XD
Hey so my region has region forms for a lot of these like Gallade, Gardevoir, Cacturne(evolution), working on gogoat, Dunsparce had 3 evos, kallos starters and new types light, sound and cosmic along with an ability that Grant's immunity to a type for every type
Wtf

Swellow is the underrappreciated GOAT of normal birds, I’d love a new variant

yup everyones all about tailow and unfezant in that line but no one cares about swellow
I just want an overpowered Swellow that spams boomburst even more
Especially since real life swallows are found all over the planet so it still fits the theme of the location.

Ahh, yes. More regional variants. I sure hope the Purrloin line gets a new regional type! It really deserves it, as it's a really underappreciated pokemon and it's regional form should be based off of Albino Panthers. It should be Ice / Fighting, with it's own signature move, similar to Fly, but more of a very tall pounce.
If they do it better be sirloin pun

@@wingedcrim7489 I agree.
I am making my fan region. With including of all existing for now gimmicks (Mega, Z, Gmax and Tera) but a bit... modified, so they all can work in entire region at the same time.
One of ideas was - Teraform for Dewgong, that would make it fire type, and make it's body immune to high temperatures allowing to swim in warm waters or even lava lakes. Keep in mind our counterpart to Teraform would affect wild pokemon too, and will keep for very, very, very long time (it's not permanent tho)
2:14 THEY SWITCH ZIGZAGOON AND POOCHYENA'S COLORS! ZIGGY ALREADY HAS THE GREY AND BLACK! THIS IS PERFECT! Zigzagoon also has the pinkish red eyes like Mightyena. It would be perfect. The body can be a cream color like Linoon and the fuzzy hair on its head and back can be the brown stripes that Linoon has.
Regarding the Thunder Armor bit, this just shows that Swellow is one of Ash’s best birds. I may love Staraptor and Talonflame more, simply cause they look cooler, but I have massive respect for Swellow. Remember when it stopped Tyson’s Donphan’s Rollout with it bare talons.

Love how the first two mentioned ended up happening.
Considering wooper (from it's looks) seems to be an axolotal, I remember seeing a documentary about an axolotal that lost it's eyes but was still about to live in the dark with enhance sense of smell and touch; so what if they go that route?
A white/pink wooper with no eyes, but a with a big wide grin. The coolest part is, from the same video there was another creature that lived in similar conditions; a fish with fins that it used as hands to cling onto rocks and climb up with them.
So quagsire could go down that route and get giant fin hands that it could use to climb waterfalls, hug or pat people with a happy smile :D

@@itsgonnabeanaurfromme you do realize that's how it is in nature for some animals right? No they don't, they just say that they "were originally foreign Pokémon that were imported as pets." There is nothing in the Pokedex entries to say that their current form isn't what they're supposed to look like
@@austinhays2452 the only thing i can find about it other than that they were imported is that they can adapt to any water, just like magikarp
Which pokedex mentions it?
Honestly Corphish is one pokemon I just want to return without a regional form so I can finally use a Crawdaunt on a playthrough team (other examples of this are Golurk, Tsareena, Pirmeape, Ferrothorn, Dragalge, Clawitzer and especially regular Avalugg)
@@abhinavanand9032 I believe its emerald's pokedex that says it is an invasive species that adapted to new waters brought in as a pet
The whole Gogoat speech with the screaming goat at the end made me laugh! Great speech Mikey, and amazing editing by your editor!
Houndoom is my favorite. I would love to see a regional variant of it, maybe dark and poison or dark and ice
In my fan game concept I made Volbeat and Illumise Electric/ Bug type (for being Pokémon being based on Fireflies/ Lightning Bugs the fact they aren’t Electric is mind boggling) they also evolve late at around 33-41. I also am doing a Water/ Dark Sandile adapting to the humid weather of the region appearing more green and dark blue as well as the Gible line adapting to the same thing and being based on their beta designs (you can also find regular gible in the region (main game) with the Dex stating that several gible went off on their own and adapting to their new environment if that makes sense)
I’d love a ground/fairy regional variant of Claydol that gains an epic evolution
Like obstagood
Obstagoon sorry for the miss spell
@@strawhat2024 yea
@@strawhat2024 no worries
Maybe not an evolution claydol has good stats
Michael talking about Dragonite: "It's not gonna lose its Dragon type. It has 'Dragon' in the name..."
Sandshrew and Sandslash are crying in the corner...
But yeah, I don't think a regional variant of the Dratini line would lose its Dragon type either - just not because of the name 🤣
also the galarian birds
Sand not ground
love how the first two comments already predicted both new regional forms
Literally watching this with a killowatterel on my team lol
Whimsicott should get an regional evolution, maybe a regional form of fairy/ground, A pokemon thought to bring good luck to farms & stop droughts from happening, whimsicott's praise across the farmlands makes it more powerful, shaymin could be an ancestor of this pokemon it would be certainly cool or rival, I would also like if they give feebas a new regional evolution water/psychic type.
I tried using Whimsicott in Sword but I couldn’t figure out how to make it work. I’d definitely like to see it get an evolution, personally.
@@Cryscorde well it's good only with prankster
Just a note. Fairy/ground I believe has been stated to be one of the absolute best types to the point of possibly game breaking. I could be mistaken
@@Cryscorde whimsicott is a prankster with tailwind and stun spore
@@rileyackison4495 as Zacian-Crowned is not overpower it has better stats than whimsicott as well it is top 3 of all 153 Type combos
I feel like Buizel and Floatzel don't get as much love and could maybe get a regional form, im not sure what it could be/look like but it would be cool to see to me and others probably!
I can make you one
@@ajthegachahalf-saiyan3027 link?
Discounting starters Buizel is definitely one of my favorite Water Types tbh - I prefer it over Floatzel though
Hmm Dark and water Buizel(the star)
I love this idea, I would love to see some new forms
This was funny as they just introduced Paldean Wooper and the second one is about Wooper.
Well Decidueye got a regional form in Arceus and that’s from gen 7, although it’s a starter which kind of makes it an exception. Does bring it back ful circle from when regional forms were first made lol
Also you say Lopunny just got its mega so it wouldn’t get any attention but Slowbro’s mega was in the same game and that got a lot more attention in Gen 8
The swellow anime thing kinda makes sense when you think about it cause swellows ability is guts so maybe the swellow just survived pikachus attack and the thunder armor is supposed to symbolise that he is paralyzed
aight so for mightyena, since galarian zigzagoon and linoone got (insert mightyenas pre-evolutions name because i forgot it) and mightyenas colors, i think it would be cool to see them get hoenn zigzagoon and linoones colors, aswell as a new evolution.
Talking about Wooper in video: We now have Paldean Wooper.
Talking about Tauros in video: We now have Paldean Tauros.
Talking about Tailow and Swellow: We have Wattrel and Kilowattrel. (A bit of a stretch but I think they kind of look alike)
I would like to see a regional variant for Houndour and Houndoom. But instead of being a hellhound, it could be like a cute angel dog. Water-Fairy or pure fairy could be cool. I would be down for a new evolution as well!🔥
Water fairy is okay, but why not go with the black dog myth with houndoom. Ghost fairy. To see one is to be a bad omen.
@@Madocvalanor That could be sick as well!
Why does every suggestion for regional variants of dark types remove the dark type? The only Pokémon in Arceus that lost their primary typing were dark types. Every other Hisuian form/evolution kept their primary type!
I know dark is a bad and unpopular type, but for those of us who like it, we need the few cool dark types we've got!
@@absol1975 Bro when did I say I hate the dark type? It's in my top 5 favourite types!
@@absol1975 I love darktypes, it's just I also like variants that completely change the typing of a pokemon. alolan Marowak Ghost/Fire was awesome, alolan ninetails... So many great, beautiful variants out there. Hell, even the electric geodude is awesome!
For a regional Dragonite, I'd like it if it looked more like Dragonair in design; it could have be Dragon/Water or something.
Something long and watery, like.... Gyarados? :p
@@krankarvolund7771 More like Milotic, but Dragon-type, and blue.
Welcome, ashton stropus, we have a regional wooper.
The wooper was a prediction
This is gonna sound really generic, but we haven’t gotten any new eeveelutions in a while, and seeing something like a ghost type , steel, dragon, or a really interesting fighting type eevee would be cool. Concepts like Steeleon, dragoneon, souleon, or clasheon are good names too.
make it so it fits the region (gen 9) well
@@gianrazon2639 Maybe if they look into Spanish culture because Scarlet and Violet are based off Spain, maybe something in it will relate to one of the new eevee types.
eevee has evos based on the “special” types from gen 1(and fairy but its basically a special type anyway lol), so the only new eeveelution we could expect would be dragon, physical eevees could be fun tho
@Hachimal Abuse Yeah that would be cool, also they are called matadors.
Lanceon and drakeon sound better
About 6 months ago, I started designing a candian pokemon region. After making many pokemon using just memories and not fact checked information though, i started realizing it wasnt really that well structured, so i started making an italian, this time more carefully constructing it. Even though a lot of my canadian desigens werent the best, one of my favorites was a regional litwick line, which was a steel and fire typing. Litwick was a metal lighter, evolving into outdoor heaters.
you can send it on r/MandJTV!
( watermark it if you are going to do that )
3:50 my speculation on thunder armor swellow is actually that is is paralysed from the thunder triggering the guts boost
Ashton stropus: I’d like to see a wooper regional form! :D
Pokémon scarlet and violet: noted
I really hope we see Sawsbuck again. Its weather-changing effect was very interesting, and I’m a big fan of cervids. Sawsbuck looks like the Iberian Red Deer as well.
I agree it's design was very cool👍
"I don't care for Sunflora," Again, I must emphasize, that's the point of new forms. Injecting coolness into lacking designs. The fact that you think Sunflora is boring should be making you AGREE with the idea of giving it a regional form, not disagree.
This also applies to everyone going "I think X should get a regional form because its my favorite". If it's already cool, it doesn't need the help.
What if it's cool but sucks like Mightyena or Dunsparce?
@@jacobkohr7243 I wouldn't describe dunsparce as cool
Like, for the love of ARKOOS give it an evolution, but it isn't really _"cool"_ lol
@@jacobkohr7243 I get the sentiment of what you're trying to say, but neither of the pokemon you listed are cool. They're just lame. I don't speak ill of anyone who likes them, certainly, but you have to be aware that these are not cool pokemon.
If you mean pokemon that are cool but you wish were STRONGER, in a competitive or numerical sense, that makes sense, but that's not what regional forms have ever been for, imo. At least not foremost.
Tropius Evolution could function just like Oricorio, being it's normal Flying/Grass but changing it's Flying type depending on which berry you feed tropius. Could be Fire/Grass with red berries, Electric/Grass with yellow berries and Water/Grass with green berries, also by feeding with a mix of berries it would turn into the Flying/Grass again.
Since we are going to be at a European inspired region this could be a good time to bring in a "regional" version of Galars fossil Pokemon. Their other halves mostly because I want to see draco on volts tiny legs. We can also have an item they can hold for a trade "evolution" to their true forms.
