I turned off analytics in December after an earlier video you did, but selecting the last analytics file the shortcut still tells me no analytics file found. What triggers making an analytics file?

Wish I had tried it before I upgraded to iOS 17. I can’t get it to work it’s saying analytics file not found even though I have it turned on for sharing and I’m physically trying to upload the file to the shortcut.

Thanks for this fantastic video. I am one of those people who jumped the gun and got a new battery for my iPhone12 mini. I was at 85% health and had issues with phone getting hot and discharging quickly. I got a new battery and the next day, after doing some searching realized that my issues were probably due in part with iOS 16.x. The new iOS 16.6 update came out a day later and since then all is great with the phone. So it's worth doing some investigation before investing in a new battery, but I will say that a new battery was still much, much cheaper than a new phone.
Only get a new battery when the max capacity falls below 80%
That’s when you will notice more noticeable battery drain and performance issues.
I have downloaded the shortcut and hit share analytics to battery stats. It starts, and then nothing displays. Any tips on where I am going wrong?
My 2nd Gen SE needed a battery after 3 years of use so I changed it myself like I’ve done on so many others. This was the first time I had the “unknown component”warning that stayed on my notifications for about 4 days then stayed in my settings for another 2 weeks. Now it only shows when I check my battery in settings. The phone is running fine and battery life is exceptionally good, but I’ve never had any issues with ifixit batteries. My 1st gen SE and 8 plus are both running ifixit batteries too.
The Battery Stats isn't showing up on my 13ProMax. If it possible its because I am on an older iOS firmware, 16.1.2.. Thanks..great info

My Apple Watch Series 8 has some serious battery drain. I’ve tried keeping it on with low power mode enabled, turning it off, closing apps and it drains rapidly even when it’s turned off! My iPhone xs max does not increasing battery percentage while charging sometimes. After restart it charges normally and a good battery packup and its max capacity shown as 95%. Any solutions?

Battery health is showing 82% on my 5 year old XS Max, the shortcut shows that the real capacity is 78% after 2085 cycles .
Will be changing it soon and keep the phone for as long as I can. Just have to decide if by apple or corner shop lol.

Ive just bought my Iphone 14 last July 6th. On battery service its 97%. But on battery stats its 93% with 42 cycle. Which is correct? IS MY BATTERY DEFFECTIVE? Its only a month. And I charge my phone onces a day with 80/20

I love your videos they help me so much. Thank you for your valuable work. My iphone 11 pro is now 3.5 years old and has a capacity of 84% according to Apple. With your shortcut it says: maximum capacity 3225 mAh current maximum capacity: 2603 mAh. Charge Cycles: 683 with 80.71% capacity. But unfortunately my battery doesn't last a day. I have already implemented all the tips from the video: 25 Hacks To Fix Android Battery Drain. Also have permanently Bluethooths, location service off and the power saving mode in it.
Unfortunately, I still can't make it through a day. I called Apple and they told me it wouldn't be worth putting in a new battery as it would only last a maximum of an hour longer. So I should buy a new cell phone. Is that true or can I possibly give my iPhone 11 pro a new life with a new battery? i love it so much 😭

Tried this a couple of months back and it worked fine but not anymore.
After 3.5 years of using my iPhone 11, the stats says it only has 172 cycles of charging. How is this possible? However, I did a factory reset around 6 months ago, could it just reset all the battery cycle counts??

According to your method, it is showing even less i.e 93%😫 with 57charge cycles.

It’s because you probably use your iPhone like it’s a desktop PC. CZcams, twitter, streaming, music, movies… yeah…….. if you use your iPhone for all your internet means, your battery percentage will drop.

The battery status shortcut doesn’t work on iOS 17 betas
Any truth to the idea that maximally charging to 70% and not letting it fall below 50% is a battery life prolonging strategy….? My 16 month old 13PM is at 97% ( or 91% via analytics ) and I try to maintain the 50-70 range .
I have an iPhone 12Pro Max. My battery life is horrible. My battery is at 85%. I have tried your settings videos and everything and it doesn’t seem to help. Should I get a new phone or just replace the battery?
It is recommend to replace only when it is under 80% battery health.
That's one where I'd say go to Settings → Battery and check to see if there's something always running in the background. I'd just want to be sure if you do get a new phone or battery, the problem actually gets solved.

If your iPhone is not charging properly, I would also recommend cleaning the Lightning port as well. It's amazing how much dust can accumulate in there sometimes, especially when you carry your iPhone in your pocket often. I once had a problem with an iPhone 7 Plus that it wouldn't charge. After I carefully cleaned the port with a toothpick, it worked absolutely fine again.
exactly, my iphone 12 would not charge and i tried every angle of charging it with port but did not think of cleaning it. bought wireles charging pad and uedd it for weeks but it is very slow. cleaned my port and now it is charging wired for now.

Screen glitching problems aren't usually caused by the battery. Don't want to give ya any false hope here! Might be time for a new screen from a local shop. But if they give you a new battery at the same time, you're totally back in business!

When I go to analytics and improvement > analytics data I don’t see that analytics file is there a way I can fix this or is this a major issue? Cause I noticed my phone battery health has been draining a lot since I got it
You need to makesure the share iPhone analytics is turned on for a few days before you try this

One thing if the health is by 90 . I say change it .by 80 your done . Especially in winter time lol .keep in mind that tings in our country aren’t operating closing down etc so keep that in mind better to be safe then sorry . Here's what happened: Zech (cameraman / editor / wears lots of hats) and I decided to do a handheld B-cam in addition to the front cam. It's a new setup for us. One of the things I've learned as a "CZcamsr" is that when you do something for the first time, often, you suck at it. But then from watching and editing yourself, you kind of naturally improve - kind of like if you walk down a street and fall in a hole, hopefully, you don't fall in it next time. Or maybe you fall in a smaller hole.
Long story short, bear with me :) It'll get better. I promise. 🙏

I had my battery replaced by a third party and a warning popped up. Wound up finding out Apple won't allow third party Apple compatible batteries to he software configured by third parties. It's worth it to schedule an appointment online and take directly to the Genius Bar.

My iPhone 12 got 565 charge cycles in 14 months ( heavy usage) and I lost only 221 mah! Because I charge my phone between 50-80% with an original 20w charger
