It makes my ❤ happy to know you guys are going to church😊. I grew up with christ in my life & thats one thing I'm so greatful for...my parents & grandparents teaching me about JESUS🙏 The headboard is gonna look stunning especially after you put your styling touches on it👍

Of course you can do the same in your car or home but when your in the house of GOD there's just something powerful about it that makes you MOVE....bc For me, I go to church with my eyes set on JESUS... Not to be judgemental about the bodies "In Church!! I admire Carrie. I thinks she is loving & genuine but we are put on this earth by GOD to be his servants!! When we do so our life only improves tremendously!! Carries life will speak of this on a greater level.... Just stay tuned, & that will serve my point!! At the end of the day we only have two choices: JESUS or the Devil, heaven or hell, eternal lasting life or burn in the lake of fire.... READ GODS WORD...the greatest book...THE BIBLE!!! ✝️

The barstools would look gorgeous matte black (not the super dark black).
Then the wooden sitting part a little bit of a darker wooden color and the golden parts just cleaned and shiny ✨

That is a Home Interior shelf. Probably sold around 1998. I used to sell those. I have one.🎉❤🎉😂❤

I love the headboard and foot board.. so much character. The stools are gorgeous, you can't go wrong with solid wood. Your paint choices are always right on. Natural tones will look blended and clean for sure. Thanks for sharing ! That sandwich makes me hungry lol.

I actually love the bar stools as they are! They look perfect with island and working so well with the curtains in the lounge! If you’re going to paint them, I’d stick to a lovely pewter grey chalk paint xx
Every 20 to 30 years, things come back in style. Your style I remember back in the 1960's, 1980'-1990's, 2000's and now it's back. Your style has always been my favorite. I love to watch old TV shows for decor, 2 and a half men has some of it, just for an example. The ones with Charley sheen. I love the green paints and the natural light woods and black so beautiful!
Bar stool color would look super cool same color as island chandelier. Yes, head & door boards will look nice in your bedroom. Love natural color look.
I agree with you, free stuff should go to those in need. So many single parent families will be blessed with low cost or free items.
I personally see nothing wrong with getting something free, fixing it up, and selling it. The person giving it away for free just wanted to get rid of it. You're recycling. To ripen your avocados quickly, put them in a brown paper bag with an apple or banana in the bag also. The gasses from the apple or banana ripen them. Congratulations on going to church, and hopefully, all of you enjoyed it and now have a home church. Happy Valentine's Day to you and your family ❤

I had a set of those stools many years ago my daughter got the one my kids didn’t destroy and still has it - she bought her house 15 years ago - they last 😂 glad about the church- we need Him now more than ever - I like the green stools just green
Love the new bar stools. I think they would look good black to tie in the pendants. The new bed frame is awesome too. I think it will look great in your bedroom.
Avocados.... put hard avocados in the cabinet where it's dark for 2-3 days until they soften. Then put them in the refrigerator and they will last another week. Also, if you cut one in half and want to save the other half-keep the seed in the half you are saving and put in baggie and suck the air out. The seed helps keep it green. :)
Came here to say try putting them in a brown paper lunch bag and closing the top. They will be good to go in a day or 2.

I’d definitely do all the wood on the barstools black and then for the metal parts, do the antique spray paint finish you talk about (like the bronze/black topped with a gold finish). I think they could look so good!

I live in Georgia and have been frequenting our Goodwill stores. They are pitiful! Little to no home items and they are the price they would be in the stores.

I love the chairs as is - if you look at your rooms, this looks like an area that's unique but fits together nicely - it creates a great statement area.
Maybe paint bar stools black to match cabinet in dining room. And leave wood or stain it maybe lil darker. Then just add lil rub & buff to freshen up the gold ring. 🤷🏼♀️
The bronze spray paint would be pretty too!
I was going to suggest painting the barstools a soft black color, so I think that dark bronze would look great. Love the bedframe too.

I personally like the green chairs as it is. Since it is a slightly different shade. You could paint them black to compliment the darker tones in the home.

The barstools would look great black, BUT I have black chairs, and the DUST that shows on them is horrendous! I love the green in your house, but on the barstools it looks like the old 80's and 90's Home Interiors color 😂 Sorry if that sticks in your head like mine 😂 I honestly think they would be beautiful stripped and stained.
Hi, sand the paint off the barstools and make same color as the seats. Or sand all of it and stain your own color!! Love it all!
Also I think they make a bed rail that can attach to a full headboard but hold a queen mattress or whatever size you need if this doesn’t work! 😊

Love the headboard set. Yes I think it will look very pretty, that’s what you’re bedroom needs is a few wood elements to warm up the space and a few pillows n blanket to add some color. I would like to see you add some kind of floral wallpaper to the back wall . The wallpaper you found was gorgeous. It would look pretty in your daughters room from what I could see. I like the color you choose for the barstools, that’s the color I was thinking and sand down the chairs to a more natural wood color . IMO. Hope you and your family had a nice Valentine’s Day! ❤️❌⭕️

I bought a solid wood, custom made entertainment center from Habitat for Humanity. My tv fits perfectly in the center cabinet and there are two cabinets that flank each side of the center cabinet. On the bottoms of the side cabinets there two wood pull outs that would easily cost over $100 each! This was the best deal I’ve gotten in a long time.
That shelf is from home interiors. I grew up with that shelf in our home as a kid in the 1980s😊

I enjoy going thrift sthopping and getting things done around my house. ❤ I love white American cheese it’s so delicious I have never had it growing up but I had it a couple of years ago. ❤ I love seeing everything that you bought your family they’re super cute. I think buying gifts that your family will love is more important than trying to line the gifts up for the holidays. I think everyone should spend their Valentine’s Day doing things that they enjoy, it doesn’t have to be anything fancy. ❤🥰🎨🎨

I like your idea for bar stool color, I'd gel stain the seats darker no matter what color you go with. I think the brass foot rest would look better spray painted in a champagne gold.
Highly recommend small sticky felt pads to put in bottom of barstools to help with the noise :)

Steel wool pad should clean the rust off the metal rings of your new barstools. I vote to paint them black and spray paint the metal rings the same color as your kitchen hardware.
