She's lovely, gracious, charming and intelligent. She's come from a country that had one of the most thriving economies in the world, and one which was most quickly and horribly destroyed by socialist policies. Her brilliant, successful father understood the value of personal liberty over societal perceptions, and the inherent dignity and nobility of sacrificing the familiar and terrible but knowable life of living without freedom in a totalitarian regime.
She sounds like family is essential to her life, and that she has found a husband who has the same values.
We.need Canada, and Canada needs us. Like it or not, our two countries are so insanely intertwined that our borders are willy nilly all over the place, encroaching and intertwining with each other. They come to Arizona in the winter and we go there in the summer. Our Catholic church overlapped for over a century. Our histories are inextricably entwined.
Wouldn't it be wonderful to have a solid, intelligent, strong, and proudly Canadian Prime Minister with a lovely wife who is a naturalized citizen, and a president who is older, and yes as unpredictable as a horse in a hospital, but proudly American and working toward the mutual strength and benefit of both our countries, who also has a lovely and gracious immigrant wife who is a naturalized citizen and who also appreciates liberty because her family fled a country that had none?

Anaida it isnt as easy as you say. Look what happened to Jordan Peterson today with the Ontario College of Psychologists. He has to attend a re-education program because he criticized Justin Trudeau...And now he has to appeal and take his case to the Supreme Court of Canada.
The sentiment is very much appreciated but there is no First Lady title in Canada. She will be the very welcomed wife of the first Prime Minister Canada has had since 2015.

To be clear, Canada does not have a first lady, thats aa Merican thing. Here she is, the wife of the prime minister and the mother to his children. That having been said she is indeed beautiful and it is wonderful to hear spanish spoken at the highest levels of government.

@@happydaze7386 I agree! I never said anything different other than the fact that in Canada we do not have a first lady. Some wives of the PM are influential like in the way Ana will be, which is wonderful and shows great values in our leadership. However, this is not something we have a tradition with in this country and is not something we expect like they do in the states.
@@WildIntuitions You’re correct. Our Pms wives have stayed in the background and are usually not influential in any substantive way. However, perhaps it’s time this changes here in Canada. It took America about 100yrs after George Washington, the first prez, to refer the president’s wife as First Lady. I have no problem with it for Canada.

Don't get me wrong, I like her and I think she is excellent but fyi, we don’t have a title such as First Lady in Canada as we are a Constitutional Monarchy. We have a King and Queen and a governor--general to represent the country symbolically. ♥️

Soy una madre de dos niñas y estoy a punto de devolverme a Venezuela aún con la crisis por que este gobierno loco está lavándole el cerebro a los niños con todo este tema de la homosexualidad y cambio de género. Me vine a Canadá con la esperanza de encontrar un mejor futuro pero me encuentro en la boca del lobo con todo esto. He tratado de encaminarlas haciéndole ver que en este país sus gobernantes están torcidos y arrastrando así a la nueva generación..pero ellas ya ven esto normal.. Ana trató de buscar calma y paz en un país tan bello como Canadá 🇨🇦 pero no es fácil trabajar todo el día, estar pendiente de los niños en las escuelas y aparte de todo esto el estrés por pagar cuentas y el sueldo no alcanza.Dios mío en que paquete me metí sin darme cuenta.
