  • Anna Elisabeth Anneliese Michel was a German woman who underwent 67 catholic exorcism rites during the year before her death. She died from malnutrition for which her parents and the priests were convicted for negligence homicide but many Catholics till this day believe that Anneliese's suffering had a much deeper meaning.

You just contradicted yourself, if you pray the Rosary you are praising Mary.
1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and man The Man Christ Jesus!
Luke 11:27 And it happened as He spoke these words that a certain women in the crowd raised her voice and said," Blessed is the womb that bore You and blessed are the paps that nursed You"!
28 But Jesus said," More than that, Blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!"
Do you understand what Jesus said about his mother?

This was a case of possession that always perplexed me. She was devout and didn’t dabble in the occult. But it’s not unprecedented either. I believe St. Mariam of Jesus Crucified also suffered possession without doing anything on her end to instigate it. What I’m still not sure about, and what I’m hoping some of the more faithful can explain, is how does Annaliese’s suffering help sinners? Is it supposed to be similar to what Jesus did for us? But then I thought that was all that’s needed.

Suffering has great redemptive value. It´s not coincidence our Lord chose it as a mean of salvation. Our suffering on itś own has no value. But when we connect it with suffering of Jesus on cross while living in the state of grace, it becomes powerful prayer for others.
Jesus´ sacrifice was more than enough to save every human. But many humans don´t want to accept it. So by prayer we ask God to keep sending graces to those who keep rejecting them so the probaility of them saying yes to God increases. There is no stronger prayer than redemtive suffering. Because the closer one is to Jesus, stronger the prayer. And He chose suffering as a mean of salvation so connecting to Himin the place of suffering, connecting your pain with His sacrifice has very powerful effects for good of others...
His sacrifice is far more than enough. But many people don´t want to accept it and many sins are commited which keep having effect even after you are baptized even after you die.
Our lord is generous Lord. He gives us the best things and the most beatiful things, the most beautiful work is the work of salvation. How would He not share that with us as well- with priests and in lessser amount with laity... Through living instate of grace, praying and offering sacrifices for others. What is bigger sacrifice than offer oneself up to God fully to be cricified with Jesus and connect suffering to that of His cross for the sake of others so that they can convert and accept the only thing which can save them: His sacrifice. Or to make reparation to God for sins committed for lesser sentence in purgatory? We are one body, interconnected what we do matters as long as we do it with Lord, for Lord.

Jesus atoned for ALL sins already. Why would she be asked to suffer diabolically like this? Seems like the discernment of spirits was needed at the beginning of this whole thing. Being told she would suffer demon possession is like in the gospels when Jesus said we can’t cast out satan by satan Matthew 12. Yes, God allowed righteous Job to suffer allowing Satan to cause it-for a time. But pure Satan possession is just…
Look at the fruit. What good fruit came of this whole thing? Family / her…did they become transformed into His image? Did they grow in faith in unimaginable ways, blessed by God?

The greatest love is the sacrifice you made for your neighbors. She sacrifice herself so the people that was doomed to hell can be saved. We try to save as many people as we can while we're in this earth. She offers her sufferings to please Jesus so that many can be saved. She is not selfish to not want other to suffer in hell. So she carried her cross and the cross of others.Because not all who said Lord Lord can be saved. Jesus told us how to be saved is to live like saints, but in reality we might be baptized but we lived like sinners, and forgetting what we vowed we got baptized : to abandon sin. That is sin against God. So, maybe people think that they were saved by baptism but they broke their vows to God.Do you think they can escape punishment? This is what she did,is to atone them.

@@happydays310 And what does Jesus tell us in the gospel? To pick up our own cross and follow Him. Matthew: Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me.." So we carry our burdens and offer them to God, through Jesus, by joining them to Jesus' offering to The Father, for our gaining merit in such manner and become pleasing to God the more we resemble His Son.. There is no way to build up merit for ourselves after death. When we lift up our hearts to God during the mass, when we approach the altar rail (if there is one), we are giving to God our self, all that we have and all that we are, our joys, our works, and our sufferings. That is our sacrifice joined to Jesus when He re presents his offering of Himself at Calvary to The Father. Jesus makes our offering acceptable to God the Father. That is why we are called a priestly people, when we unite ourselves to Jesus through humble obedience, we make an offering.. that is the one thing a priest must do, make sacrifice. In Thanksgiving, and in atonement for transgressions, and in supplication (in asking favors). One thing I'll say, it is better to offer mercy than sacrifice. This pleases God very much, so Annalise's gave her suffering in this way as an act of mercy, her intention through it all was to gain mercy for poor clueless helplessly guilty sinners, both corrupt clergy and ensnared youth. What a heroic soul she is! They have to make her a Saint!

@@m.r.7304 Okay, thanks. I do believe that this German girl Anneliese Michel was genuinely possessed by demons. She had problems from age 16, when she later had the apparition, and told her parents about it, Her parents, were against the idea of having herself possessed by demons for the purpose of atonement, and also, most important, her confessor was against the whole plan.
But she somehow went through with this, she wanted to do this, and that was her big mistake, not humbling herself, and not listening to the good advice of her priest and her parents.
The priest should have been more stern on her, and call the Bishop immediately to get him to prevent that girl from giving her consent to this suspicious apparition.

    • @joni3503
      @joni3503 Před 22 dny

At age 16 she heard voices, and saw creepy faces, but it got worse in college. At some point she had an encounter with what was supposed to be an apparition of Mary.
It was this "Mary" who suggested to her, that she was chosen for a special assigment, and that she should give her consent to being possessed by demons. In that way many souls especially youth, would benefit, from her sacrifice.
And this idea was appealing to Anneliese. From that moment on, she really began to feel special.
And that is what the devil is looking for in young girls and guys.
The only problem is that what "she", the apparition, proposed to her, was a moral evil, and that is why this could have never been the real Mary, Our Lady, the Mother of God.
Anneliese told her parents and her confessor about the proposition of "Mary".
She should have listened to her parents who were against this, and her confessor, who was also strongly against this whole plan. But she was stubborn, and wanted to give her consent. That was a very serious mistake.
From then on, the possession of demons began. You see, satan has to have the permission of the person, he can not just go about and possess somebody. There has to be human free will involved. And since most people won't do this, Satan uses tricks and deception, like for instance he disguises as "Mary" or one of the Saints.
      Annelieses troubles got worse,
Medical doctors couldn't help her, and also the exorcism sessions had little effect. Remind you, this happened in the 1970's where the whole Church just got "modernised".
I believe that the whole cult around her person, as if she was a Saint, is just plain wrong, and in the future when the true Catholic Hierarchy will be restored, this case, like many other cases will be re-studied, and re valued. So let's just wait for that, instead of drawing hasty conclusions.
