    The only reason I’m mostly stress free as a Gen Z guy is growing up on the edge of no phones/internet then everything being done online from school to socially quickly. Growing up fast as well, seeing divorce, forced to make $ for rent as a teen, not always fun, got into trouble, but I was forced to be extremely social. Only advice I can give is go try, don’t let anxiety, sadness, or embarrassment beat you down, think of it as working out a social muscle. Best of luck 🍀

      Not only can you win as a guy but it's easy. Step one just work on yourself and build a career, forget women for the short term, get sex dolls if you need something. Step 2 is after you get your crap together get a passport and travel and find where women treat you correctly, where you get a lot of attention from them, then date there and find a wife there. women were wacky in my generation also, I went ahead and bypassed them and married a Colombian woman, we did a K1. All my boxes checked, never met a woman in the USA who could compete with her.

    dude you said EXACTLY what ive been feeling! i'm 22 and i am so sad about the state of our generation. We need some kind of purpose and have the ability to get up when knocked down. I do truly believe that if we just TRY and stop crying and cribbing about everything, we can make insane progress. When we turn 25, our neuroplasticity drops significantly. It gets REALLY HARD to learn new things and be mentally adaptive and flexible. we cant cross that thresh hold with the only things that we learnt and practiced our whole life being fucking social media and digital garbage. seriously.

      Don't worry about it. Does learning things get harder with age? Yes, a bit. I am now close to 40 and I do see that something I would learn in 10h when I was 15 years younger now takes me 11h. It's not the end of the world.
      The main reason people stop learning is that once they finish their studies, they keep the habit for a bit more and then they get lazy about it. They'll throw neuroplasticity at you, but it's nothing more than an excuse.

    @QUADRAXIS666 Před měsícem +48

    Bruh... ok. Older Millennial (b 1984) here. Yep about to hit 40. It's not you guys fault. It's not the fault of your parents or previous generations even up to boomers. It's the fault of large corporations and the laws that support their ability to steer government policy. The insane pursuit of money is the cause of most of this shit once you strip back the layers and understand the reality. It's extremely hard to articulate something so huge and complex, so instead of trying, all I can suggest is live a while longer and see for yourself.
    I'll put it another way. You don't know what you don't know.
    In your 20's, EVERYTHING you know, EVERYTHING you believe in - you learned from other people. Be it parents, teachers, college professors, employers, it doesn't matter. They were old and wise, and you were young and dumb. That was hardwired into your young self. To trust those who had gone before and throughout your childhood and formative years that all held true, your needs were met, you were sheltered and had no real life concerns so why would you not believe everything you learned from the people in your environment?
    Then you arrived at the brutal reality of adulthood and weren't prepared. Most of us aren't when we get here. Suddenly inconsistencies appear in what you were taught and what you are seeing unfold when doing it for yourself. And it just keeps happening. And slowly you learn "No its not like x, but I get why you'd explain it this way to a kid". Years go by and that leads into the realization of "I get why you'd explain it to a lay person like this", then it goes deeper, you realize that legal bodies, governing entities, lawmakers, policymakers, Scientific Institutions, universities, etc etc EVERYTHING, everything you were taught and everything you believed... is just... a group of people who came together and agreed on x. a group of people no different than you or me. For every good, decent honest person on this planet you'll meet 100 corrupt and selfish ones, and they are in every single area of society with their own goals and ambitions and desires that are the true driving force of whatever they're doing. Your trust in these things is then shattered. You discover that pretty much every part of society is driven by a small handful of people who are only working for themselves, and the constant passing of batshit laws that help nobody except those who already have it all makes more sense.
    And those old Gen Xers you used to laugh at on facebook with "School of Life" in their bio instead of some prestigious college make more sense too.
    You don't know what you don't know, only life can teach it to you, and only you can interpret it.
    The harsh reality - Particularly if you're male - is this: You are on your own.
    But this is powerful. A good life isn't free, but nobody can stop you having it if you have the willpower and determination.

      Arguably true if you take consumerism or hedonism as your only definition of a good life, but not if it means living a life conscious of others, being part of a community, giving as much as you get and so on, which I think most would agree is a good and fulfilling life, one they'd like to look back on.
      ETA this is how the pandemic caused a societal trauma through a really nasty double-bind - it's your social duty not to be social.
      As humans, we have an emotional need for a value system that can be demonstrated before we can even speak, so it's deep down. It's part of altruism. It has little to do with religion or spirituality. The problem is, it's easy to manipulate, in extreme cases such that subjects of a nation are ready to kill others or sacrifice themselves for some superordinate principle like God or nation. That makes life horrible for someone else, and not in the more abstract way I think you mean.

But at the core it is about moral standards. It is possible not to believe and have moral standards, because that is what is lacking. Without morality everything is about 'self' with moral standards rather you function as a member of society and it is about others. So your content is good, research is good, narrative good since you deal with the the problem, possible reason, historical context and what can be done. So the formula is right, you just have to focus on using a slightly more relatable message. I hope you see this as positive, obviously you care so do I.

    The problem is that the single top tier male are a myth now. Feminist movement has just about eliminated that entire class of men. Back in the 1960s you easily had the top tier single men women could find and date. Today women have taken over so many high level job positions that there are no single available high end men. They do not exist. So on dating apps you have 10/10 women, 5/10 and 1/10 but on dating apps you do not have 10/10 men. You only have 5/10 to 1/10. The 10/10 men on dating apps are 100% scammers. Here is why:
    In the past a medical School graduated 200 male medical students, 50 married men and 150 single new male doctors. Now today they are mostly women so they graduate 50 married male medical students and 150 single female medical students. Anyone who can do math and think realizes what this means, that means that single women out there can no longer hope to find a boyfriend or husband who is a doctor, you have no hope at all in doing that. This is why, when I was in medical school it was about 60% female, 90% of the men were married and 90% of the women were single, and all the female medical students wanted a male medical student as their husband. Those female medical students only had a handful of guys to fight over and they did in fact fight over them.

To think you can get a top tier guy to end up on a dating app is a joke, that is impossible, top tier guys are not able to get through life and be single such that they have the liberty at some point in their lives to sign onto a dating app.
    The problem is social media still pushes the idea that top tier men are out there with the fake videos and reels etc and so every woman is hunting for a top tier man, but just like I explained above they do not exist in the condition called single.

So as these crazy women are fighting over men who do not exist, they end up with scammer fake chads who cannot live up to the profile they built but they get to pump and dump the women who fall for it, a guy has to find a way to get attention from high value women in an alternative method such as getting a passport and dating in a foreign country.

      Also, one of the reasons why men are kicked out of the top positions is because of the govt policies regarding hiring women and not hiring men. Men of past may have oppressed women, but women of now are definitely oppressing men

      There will be more old people than young people unless borders stay wide open. And that comes with its own problems. Prepare for the worst. There won't be enough to go around if half the population is retired.

    My dad was born in 1940 with maximum personal indulgence, with imposed Freemason everything. And actively avoiding Secret Society imposition with my 1967 year of birth. With join cult groups or else also happening, including worshipping the technology or else. Then I watch others with the same skills, disappearing into DoD R&D. Because Black Projects entangle by supplying social entanglements, instead of job promotions.
    Military towns have disappearing Gen Z through Federal Government Black Vehicles, as society gets worse. Polarity politics, will be Gen Z will fight their fellow Gen Z on the opposing side called Deep State recruits. Human trafficking will become more common, as people by specified descriptions become in demand, for harvest to corporate interest. And the data trail leads to those prized harvestable units.

    The vanity thing was always around but i think it got real bad when instagram came out.
    What i feel that's starting to change is the awareness that its all an illusion since this is an industry known as fake wealth.
    I also don't think porn is fully bad i think that in some aspects its become too over the top that unless you have a niche fetish most people wouldn't want to try most of the stuff they see on there. My personal favorite is the Amateur stuff because it feels more real/authentic.
    Relationships were always rocky the difference now from what I'm seeing is people like the idea of being in a relationship with someone but not putting in the work to build and maintain one.
    This is also very big in the gay community because every so often they loose interest in the person and go running off to someone else and it creates a cycle.

      God gives meaning to life. If we assume that there is no creator of this world, no higher purpose in our lifes, then what's the point of living? If there is no afterlife then whatever we do here on earth feels impermanent. If when we die our conciousness fades into the abyss then our existance is worthless. Yet when we do belive in God we can grasp the goal of everthing that happens in our lifes. God gives us answers to questions that otherwise would be impossible to fully comperhand by our brains. We strive to make the lifes of others better and together get closer to God who is the source od all truth and good. I know that in todays age I will not be able to convice many by just saying "Jesus loves you" but let me just tell you that life seems much less cruel when you belive in God. In a way you start to see the natural order of things and how many of our problems stem from defying this order (be it conciously or accidentaly).
      Anyway, have a good day and sorry for the wall of text.

    That is the point, GenZ in the US may start to feel inflation now but until recently Americans had it good, the majority no real concern, easy money, this have changed within the last couple of years and I feel bad for Americans (US before some twat tells me America blah blah blah) I know my geography know all your States and most of your Presidents sadly I cannot the the same, regardless, the...the thing you own ends up owning you, to keep it you need to pay to keep it so guess what, in order to keep that house, car, whatever... yeah they own you.
    Now, no disrespect, but people buy stuff they do not need with money they don't have to impress people they don't even like. I see this from time to time, mostly young people from the U.S. Each minute 115 people die globally, that is about 166 000 a day, many as result of starvation. I care far more about these children. The US prints money because they control the USD, US Citizens pay inflation on money that is but numbers on a terminal which do not even exist and pay interest on it also. The USD is not back by any commodity such as Gold, so the 43 Trillion national debt you have... you are already starting to feel what inflation translates to in terms of cost of living, the moment the USD is not longer the global currency that debt needs to be repaid, which is not possible.
    Many will say this will not happen and I am sure when the Pound in the 1770's reigned supreme they said the same, point is it always changes, and my advice would be to divest not invest in the the USD, spend less, not because the USD might no longer be the global currency but because inflation will keep increasing and should there be a ww3, regardless who wins, the cost of living will be so high the very suffering resulting from hunger will not be limited to the 'those crap 3rd world nations'

    the boomers grew because of an expanding economy you need to grow the economy it's been stagnating for a long time you can do that by donating pennies to the dollar to corporations is just a theory of mine but it's possible it could be true I'm gen z i remember VHS tape 📼

    It isnt your fault Zoomers

  • @FER44
    @FER44 Před měsícem +4

    I completely disagree with the "our fault" in any way, shape or form.
    In my particular case, I'm 25 and already in the 90th percentile for salary in my country (one in Europe), sharing a flat with my ltr gf (who also works, but with a much worse salary), and have a degree and other useful skills to make a good living, right now and in the near future.
    We dine out 1-2 times a month, we control EVERY expense for the last 5 years or so (she is an accountant and she loves it, so I let her be), no coffees, no parties, pretty much nothing. We do not have a car (even though we could afford something cheap) and we are obviously renting. After all of this, we will probably be able to afford THE DOWN PAYMENT for a house in a village in 5-6 years (and that's with current prices). And remember, we are the top 20% easily between youngsters that don't live off their parents. We have unironically thought of living in a van for 2-3 years just to save the rent.
    Also, even if you can afford a house in a village (which are cheaper than any shitty flat in the city) the renovations are insane. Friends of ours have been unable to move to their 100k home because it' extremely rundown and they have to do everything by themselves after "such" financial investment.
    Sadly, our parents are working class and there is no way they can support us. What I appreciate is that they at least shut up about the situation and do not lecture us. My dad, at my age, had a car, a small flat, my mum as a gf, smoking 2 packs of cigs a day and partying from Thursday to Sunday, all while job hopping shitty jobs and with half the skills I have. And he was "poor" or at least not middle class, compared with most of the country. It's bonkers!
    The boomers have killed multiple generations of descendants while berating them for being poor and lazy. I would say they are like cancer, but a tumor doesn't treat you like a dog in it's way to kill you.

    • @FER44
      @FER44 Před měsícem +3

      And don't get me started with boomers in the workplace. We had to explain to this dude that is 2 years from retirement where the "Downloads" folder is. The company keeps implementing shitty practices for "the environment" (lie, it's for cutting costs) while the boomers can ask IT to configure their own private printer to print every single email they get.
      The only reason these people don't get fired is because the money they would get is the equivalent to 5 years of salary. Cheaper to maintain them on a corner like babies, hoping they don't break anything.
      It's a good company, both in salary and benefits, so I have nothing to complain. That being said, if a new software gets introduced I got a couple months to learn it or get fired. Boomers have been working with computers for 20 years and they can't perform the tasks that are taught to the elderly (70+) in free courses on the town hall or local schools. Despicable
