Hi mate. I didn't get any error. It is almost like to like replacement from the same oem manufacturer which Osram. The only difference is i'm using night breaker laser instead of original/classic model
no its not a terrible design, right next to the torx bolt there are hood bump stops. you can pull them out very easy and then you have no problem removing the headlight
the hood bump-stops next to the torx are detachable, you can just pull them out to acces the headlight better.

Thanks for the instructions. Might be an idea to wash your headlight glass with essence of vinegar to clear out the graying.

Very easy to break release clips here. Terrible design by Volvo. Not surprising though given they put handbrake on wrong side on this model.
The handbrake was design for left hand drive varian and they didn't make an effort to change it for right hand drive side
