- Franc accepted me and we entered the museum. Soon it was obvious that he will pick a very special bike. This time it was Puch 175 SVS (the last "S" is for Super). What a bike! It was his racing bike. This is a pure vintage classic. We did a walk around and explained some details. After... he started the engine. It is a two-stroke engine with a single cylinder. Amazing. Check this video and enjoy. Wanna be a new sub? You are welcome. Thanks for the support.

What an interesting man! In many ways my history is similar, even down to converting a Royal Enfield Turbo Twin to start racing (250 Continental GT bodywork etc) when I was very young with a Villiers 4T Two Stroke engine that even sounded the same as that Puch, then converting it back for road use! I kept all my bikes as well. I love that bike, regret I never saw one in those days or I would have bought one. That nail protection is a new one to me!!
Thanks for watching Paul. I am glad you shared some nice memories after you watched this one. I just read on the internet about the Royal Enfield Turbo Twin but never saw it in person. That nail protection is amazing. Franc has also some other Puchs with it. It was really standard on "super" models that time. Today I called him. Will be visiting him soon. :)

Cheers my friend 😉
Appreciate your support and thanks for watching. It is a rarity these days.
Wow this is a vintage piece of art... very nice mr Franc restored it and keeping it in its glory...
so nice and obvious to see near the end when u were riding it you can see mr Franc gesturing you to rev it more haha once a racer always a racer 😏
This all true. Great job here. HE suggested to ride it a bit and I said YES, why not? :) It was fun. You watched carefully, I didn't want to cut that out, so... He gestured to rev it more. Exactly. Unforgettable. Thanks for the support my friend.
What a fabulous looking bike my friend. It also sounded amazing 👍👍👍
Thanks my friend. I like to do this Vintage videos. All these old bikes sound very nice. Have to agree.
Thank you for sharing I never seen those kind of motorcycles before.
They were made in Graz, Austria. This is very close to my country. :) Probably there are also some in USA. Thanks for watching buddy.
Puchs always kind of marched to a different drummer with their bikes. Very enjoyable reminisce.
Thanks for watchig. Details matter in this case. Be rady for the next one. Will upload it soon. 👍
Wow you don’t get to see that every day! Nicely done Gregor!
Thanks for the story and another great video
Thanks Greg. I love doing this Vintage stuff. :) There will be more, I mean soon.
I really LOVE it! Such a beautiful bike and also beautiful color. I thought that was a rider pillion! Really enjoyed it!
Yes buddy, I wasn't sure, that is why I asked him. :) Really for the racer, to move back when speeding. :) Thanks and I am glad that you like it.
Always good to see the older bikes. Great video.
Thanks WRR. Appreciate it.
That chain protector is so fancy...looks really neat!
What stands out is the nail and chain protection. So special on this bike. You spotted it. :) Thanks Purple.

Thanks buddy. Yeah, I am doing also vintage stuff. Be ready for the next vintage beauty in May. :)
What a beautiful bike and an interesting man. Like the rear seat for when he wanted to go faster. Great vid and thanks for putting up the English subtitles
Thanks for watching and commenting. Today we have seats for pillions... a long time ago... and in this case, it was meant for the racer to move back when speeding. No problem regarding the subtitles. Appreciate your support very much.
Very nice bike. Enjoyed the story. This is Larry from Yorktown Va. USA. Purple On Three sent me over. Just subscribed to your channel.
Thanks Larry 68 HD. I watched one of your videos and subscribed. :) You have a great channel. I am glad you like this Puch. :)

Zelo zanimiv motor z veliko zgodovine.
Hvala za ogled in komentar. Res je, kupljen je bil okrog leta 1961.
And he let you ride it!!
Yes, he suggested it and I was ready, why not?!. :) Thanks Purple.
👍💯
Thanks for tuning in buddy.
Zelo lep motor.
Hvala za ogled in komentar.
Not sure how that nail protection system is suppose to work.
Looks like it might yank a nail out but leave a hole behind.
You are right. Seems to be quite complicated. Somehow this system was present also on other motorcycles of that era. Thanks for taking the time. Appreciate it.
Very nice bike! I also have a 175 SVS and I would love to have the same "tank-bag". Can you please tell me, where you can get that small bag on the tank?
Thanks for watching. Will ask Franc and let you know.
@@RRRRefuelRideRace thank you very much!
