- More than 1,000 migrants have arrived in the UK after crossing the Channel since Sir Keir Starmer became Prime Minister.
Home Office figures show 427 people made the journey in seven boats on Monday, taking the provisional total for the year so far to 14,759.
Former deputy UKIP chair and journalist Suzanne Evans joins Talk’s Ian Collins to discuss this further.

What our generation worked for, many today have the luxuries almost as of right. Cars, clothes foods, holidays etc We are blamed for all that is going wrong now. I beg to differ. Living within ones means,courtesy, manners and family come before entitlement.

@@Wildflower-z8n Most people on Benefits have no right to be there, most of them will be able to cope with unskilled work and might realise at last that nobody gets a free ride and you have to earn whatever money you are paid. Everybody is capable of doing something and when made to work might actually find pride in themselves they never had before, learn skills they never realised they had and oh, the buzz that comes with a first wage packet. They will be healthier, stronger, their mental health will get a huge bonus, having a routine, mixing and working with others, making new friends, discovering you are not a load of s..t people thought you were. You have a choice at the end of the day, bum around until your too old and your country has been taken over by migrants or stand up and show you are a better person and help block these people invading our country.
Our people should rise up and just say NO! We’ve had enough of our lives being made insecure by our own government. Different cultures are exactly that, different. They will not enhance our lives at all.

I watch a lot of Douglas Murray on CZcams and he is absolutely spot on when it comes to this subject It's not racist to want to protect our country. We're a small island and we cannot sustain the level of immigration We're now seeing. Why won't the politicians do their job!!

If the government are serious about allowing 100's of thousands of migrants into the country then they have to conduct a cost benefit analysis and work out how many new houses, places in schools, doctors required, Hospital beds, etc. etc. plus jobs to give them all a reasonable living.
We are currently 3 million houses short of requirement before we start to accommodate the 600 thousand migrants here now, so where are they and all those others going to stay?
