Please Please Please tell us where you got the Toyota truck body is from??? There are so many questions about the body that no one from this video or Vaterra has answered tis simple question!!!! So PLEASE let us know!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for video, I want to put my 72' Chevy Suburban body off my Ascender chassis to the V100 chassis and my C10 body on the Ascender chassis it hope it works making those simple adjustments
Technically speaking this is a bit redundant, because new bodies don't have drilled holes on them, so why re-adjust all the mounting points, when you could just drill the mounting holes on the body to fit the stock Vaterra mounting set up.
You should seriously consider making a 69 Dodge Charger body or RTR car, we are all crying out for one as nobody currently makes a scale 69 charger or any one makes a really scale and accurate charger body for 1/10. Would be a fantastic addition to your fleet.
Also can you make a video on how to rise the ride hight on the V100 chassis because i want to use the V100 Chassis for rallying. kamora is not really a rally car because its more of a buggy chassis and real rally cars are road cars tweaked to go rallying. and the other rally car is less realistic. the Ford'ish Fiesta RallyCross 1/10th 4wd rtr w/ AVC(VTR03010. I live in England And i want to use my Vaterra for Rallying and i want to change my suspension. And make it ride higher off the ground. pleas..
AWESOME VIDEO. I actually won one of these in a raffle contest on CZcams brand new for free and I am expecting to receive it in the mail this week. I would really like to know what type of scale system would work perfectly for it without having to utilize any modifications at all. Im sure a 1/10th scale brushless system is where it’s at……. But which one would you recommend for a car this scale and size….. ? Also…… what gearing and do I absolutely have to change out the entire drive train and dog bones to steel or aluminum before I do the brushless upgrade ?.. I’d like to have my questions answered in due time. I am receiving a Losi 1972 Chevy C10 V100 Vaterra with the black pickup truck body not the orange one. I’ve seen videos of these converted to brushless on 3S power and they are doing 45-66 mph some I think even closer to 70 mph. I’d like to make mine as fast as 70-85 mph or alittle more even. Of course mine is coming to me in brushed form with a 15 turn 550 size motor I believe. I think it only does about 21-25 mph on a 2S lipo or alittle faster or slower on a nimh pack.
Can you do a video of you putting a le man's 24 hours group B race car with the wheels that they would have. At the back you know those really wide race tyres. Maybe a jaguar XJR9. Or a Nissan R91CP. Or a Mercedes C11. Or CLK GTR. Or Porsche 911 GT1. Or 911 GT2
I have a question I just bought a Vattera Ford F100 and when I turn off the remote the truck will take off I have to turn it back again for it to stop any clue of what it could be the truck was working fine until today??? Thankyou
BTW Rich, why do your Vaterra RC products have such sparse documentation? I pulled up a few online manuals. I assume they are the same as included in the box. I looked at the Vette, a Mustang. NO details about adjusting/customizing, repairing/maintaining these things. Wow that was a disappointment. You guys should look at the documentation for the HPI E10 Drift cars. SOLID. Vaterra's documentation should follow that example, i.e. beef up the details.
Yea cause it's so hard to maintain a Rc car lol. Hats off to vaterra here there making super solid products with awesome detail with super customer service. And I'll bet money the parts ain't half as high as hpi. I sold my savage XL when I saw how much it was to maintain its super fast wearing parts.
I have a Silvia S15 vaterra and I want to get a new shell and I'm not sure which shells would fit so if someone could write down which shell would fit my car it would be appreciated:)
This video is lame. The upgrade "system" is weak. Run any body BUT you need a kit that doesn't include the screws needed. ALL of that should be included in the box. Also: the title of this video mentions a V100-C. The chassis in the video is NOT the V100-C. The V100-C has a giant front end underbody piece of plastic. No bumper. So I assume changing bodies on the V100-C will require trimming and may have less options for using Tamiya and HPI.
So let me get this straight. Your saying a kit should include all necessary hardware to put any body you want on it. Are you wanting free body's too????
Your vaterra designs and ideas were so ahead of their time!!
Nice to have those options in the stock chassis

The front splitter and rear diffuser are removable, and you can buy those bumpers to put on instead for both the s and c models
