- Need to clean your bristles on your Hoover Steam Vac? I figured out how to get the assemble apart to clean. Figured I should make a How To video since I couldn't find one out there. Hope it helps.

Thank you!! I was trying to find a video to help me as mine has been setting up for 2 years and they desperately needed to be cleaned! Thank you for making this!
Thank you so very much. I finally figured out how to get mine open after I broke one of the sides. This video is a life saver for sure
Excellent video. Thank you so much.
Thank god I found your video! Lol. Mine has dog hair that I cant get out without taking apart! Thank you!
This is exactly what I was looking for! Thanks!
This is great! I am going to try it right now!
Thanks….I always end up breaking things like this trying to figure it out.
THANK YOU FOR POSTING!!!!
Genius! I fiddled and prodded unsuccessfully for at least a half hour before consulting youtube. Your technique is required viewing for getting the dog hair out of the mechanism. I saw this several months ago, it worked, I forgot how to do it today, and hoo-ray, the video is still here! Many thanks.
Omg thank you I knew it would come apart 😃
YOU ARE A ROCKSTAR!!!
I bought this model to do my hard floors & extra dirty jobs & this assembly is much different to get apart than the newer model. Thank you :)
You're a life saver!!! Been trying to figure out how to get this thing apart! Came close to breaking it a couple times!! Thanks so much for this video!
Thank you...!!! I did it.. hugs
this was extremely helpful! i couldnt seem to get at the parts around the bristles, and it was driving me crazy! Thanks so much for posting this!
Thank you!
Man, I'm so glad I found this video. That was literally what I was going through. half an hour of fiddling around because I knew it came apart. So I figured there had to be something on CZcams, or not. I was scared to turn it cuz I didn't want to break it. Half the stuff has broken on it without turning anything. Thanks for doing the video
Ditto. I could tell it came apart, and that the white tabs were involved, but I couldn't pop them. Now that Sherri has shown it, I can do it without breaking the assembly. Thanks Sherri! And BTW, who could possibly vote this video down, other than brush assembly retailers?
You rock, thank you!
THANK YOU
Wow! I just spent half an hour trying to get the dog hair out of the crevices of my powerscrub brushes. Got most of it but what a pain without taking it apart !. This will save me time next time. :) BTW, I bought a couple of extra brush blocks so I can slap new one in and clean them all at once when I run out of clean ones.
Thank you so much for making this video! I have been trying to figure out how to take apart and clean my brush block. You are definitely a lifesaver!
Thanks for the video. You saved me from breaking the assembly.
Thanks for this video! You just saved me a ton of time cleaning the brush heads.
Be warned the plastic clamps that hold the two halves together may get broken in the process.
Thanks for the video! It really helped my mom and I.
Very helpful! More than any other video I viewed.
Found a hair comb, 1st course then the fine side, removed the hair from the brushes nicely. ( I removed the brushes, some models)
Thank you for the video. It saved me a lot of time. Great video composition too. 🙂
Thanks for the video. on an older model F7210 I had to come with the screwdriver through the brush side rather than the top of the assembly
Mine is older also. Just got it from a friend. I'm trying to figure this out. Thanks Hoover, for no help. What was their plan? ugh
This video was very helpful because my brush assembly was full of dog hair....thanks
Thank you for this, helps a lot, now I can clean it.
This is awesome, literally the only thing I could find on CZcams. My carpet cleaner was older, a little different process but I got her done.
Great share
Thank you for taking the time to share intel 💞✨
Thank you I trying to figure this out earlier
Thanks a lot. Very helpful indeed. 😊
You are a rare gem. No musical intro, no asides about whatever's, camera work that's adewuate for the job (no slomo's, unnecessary close ups) and all the dialogue was useful. Exactly what I like in an instructions vid. Best of all, no begging for thumbs up, subscribe requests or plugs for your others videos. Of course I did like, subscribe and looking for your other videos. Bravo
Thank you, very helpful
Helpful indeed !
wooohoo ty for this helped me out big time
Oh,my. thank you for that!
Thank you!!
Sherri Watch my video. Hopefully it helps.
