- The suicide rate among Army soldiers hit a record high in 2009 and for the first time ever exceeded the rate in the civilian population. Many blame Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, or PTSD.
PTSD is an adverse reaction to traumatic events that can cause irritability, anxiety, sleeplessness and depression. It became a formal diagnosis in 1980 and since then new types of medications and psychotherapy have been developed that are effective in treating the disorder. Getting soldiers to seek treatment is a challenge however. Many soldiers fear that others will see them as weak for having PTSD and many fear it will hurt their military careers.
Focal Point: “The War Within” profiles the case of one of the four men serving in 1451st who committed suicide. It also profiles two other Guard members who served with that soldier and continue to struggle with PTSD. The documentary examines the toll PTSD places on military families and shows the military’s efforts to educate soldiers about PTSD and get help to those who need it.

I feel so bad for our Soldiers. They should be honored more than once a year❤
20 years ago, I deployed to Kirkuk, Iraq,. We witnessed bullets, explosions, artillery, and a very visible danger for the 7 months I was there. At the time, I toughed it up, and did what I was trained to do. 20 years later, I was retired and now I have nightmares on a nightly basis. My family thinks I was just making it up.

Let me tell you about what happened to me in Melbourne in 2004. After trying to reach various departments with something relevant to 9/11 and Iraq and the social offline networks there, some parties which weren't considered jumped in and used the situation for their own benefit and profit.
Communications and Medical.
Now at the time I was using Optus ISP and a NineMSN email.
NineMSN was/is operated by Melbourne Networks, The Media, courts, police, pubs, football clubs, casino, gaming venue type crowds.
Optus was/is operated by India. The Australian Business registries were all under Indian names.
THE Psyche team that came in to drag me out of the house against state and federal laws were Australians who took me to an Indian doctor under Irish Management.
No one asked questions but instead instantly started accusing me of delusions of which I naturally protested and they start claiming "Uncooperative" "Defensive" It is psychological strategy. Like if I dragged ANYONE into a room and start telling them "You are hearing voices" "You think they are after you"
and you say "WTF are you on about"
Then they keep writing up their medical records and claim "Not complying with treatment" I have a fucking stack of paperwork close to a foot high and that isn't all of it.
THEN when they finally let you out a month later after forced medication on some drug which turns you into a vegetable and you start emailing everyone, everyone you email starts being attacked and they show you on the NEWS like, go on try emailing someone else. So you try post and even then post isn't being received and refugees swarm into countries where you email their head departments and bombings in cities where you email others and all sorts of shit and then communications collapsing around the time you find info that India has bought the largest number of Anti Sat Missiles from the US right before the US financial crisis..... But that isn't news, THEY ARE THE NEWS. and Google CEO is an Indian guy...
But rewind back to the 1990s where I am trying to do computer builds and repairs and everyone I call for customer and sales service is Indian, in Indian call centers.....This isn't even the start of all of this, Emailing Troops in Iraq Directly through forums and various channels and then "Marine Suicides, PTSD Medication"... and yet it STILL is being swept under the rug....RIGHT UP TO A FUCKING GLOBAL LOCKDOWN because the word was slowly started to be digested and considered and evidence of it appearing and people starting to check it all out..... Ebola outbreak in Africa's Diamond region right after "Iraq Terrorists" stopped being a thing and they were indeed civilians and it was a bad decision and wrong..... i live everyday with my experience, a jewish chaplain gave me 2 meals after we said a prayer before we went out, i gave a meal to sgt gilmore out of 769th battalion, 45 minutes later he died from an ied, i was 2 vehicles ahead of him, and that was the first day, of the mission, we got shot at, mortared close range, rocketed, and this is while we are sleeping on a cot in the middle of a desert with no protection..... for any vet out there i love you , and i have a understanding, we have a battle for the rest of our lives.......

My son was a war veteran. All I prayed for was he would come home alive and staying safe. I knew nothing about PTSD and I soon realized my son never came back from the war. Brent died at age 27...27.out of the six guys who went on missions togather, four are dead now. My other son was on a deployment on a submarine. At first I was told no he wouldn't be there for the funeral but in the end he made it home. Now that my youngest served his five years he has PTSD and anxiety ,and sleep apnea. I think if I lived closer to a base I would have had more knowledge as to what to expect when soldiers come back from the war

Let me tell you about what happened to me in Melbourne in 2004. After trying to reach various departments with something relevant to 9/11 and Iraq and the social offline networks there, some parties which weren't considered jumped in and used the situation for their own benefit and profit.
Communications and Medical.
Now at the time I was using Optus ISP and a NineMSN email.
NineMSN was/is operated by Melbourne Networks, The Media, courts, police, pubs, football clubs, casino, gaming venue type crowds.
Optus was/is operated by India. The Australian Business registries were all under Indian names.
THE Psyche team that came in to drag me out of the house against state and federal laws were Australians who took me to an Indian doctor under Irish Management.
No one asked questions but instead instantly started accusing me of delusions of which I naturally protested and they start claiming "Uncooperative" "Defensive" It is psychological strategy. Like if I dragged ANYONE into a room and start telling them "You are hearing voices" "You think they are after you"
and you say "WTF are you on about"
Then they keep writing up their medical records and claim "Not complying with treatment" I have a fucking stack of paperwork close to a foot high and that isn't all of it.
THEN when they finally let you out a month later after forced medication on some drug which turns you into a vegetable and you start emailing everyone, everyone you email starts being attacked and they show you on the NEWS like, go on try emailing someone else. So you try post and even then post isn't being received and refugees swarm into countries where you email their head departments and bombings in cities where you email others and all sorts of shit and then communications collapsing around the time you find info that India has bought the largest number of Anti Sat Missiles from the US right before the US financial crisis..... But that isn't news, THEY ARE THE NEWS. and Google CEO is an Indian guy...
But rewind back to the 1990s where I am trying to do computer builds and repairs and everyone I call for customer and sales service is Indian, in Indian call centers.....This isn't even the start of all of this, Emailing Troops in Iraq Directly through forums and various channels and then "Marine Suicides, PTSD Medication"... and yet it STILL is being swept under the rug....RIGHT UP TO A FUCKING GLOBAL LOCKDOWN because the word was slowly started to be digested and considered and evidence of it appearing and people starting to check it all out..... Ebola outbreak in Africa's Diamond region right after "Iraq Terrorists" stopped being a thing and they were indeed civilians and it was a bad decision and wrong..... I can go on but HERE I AM TELLING YOU THROUGH THE ENEMY COMMUNICATION NETWORK LIKE A CHUMP. Pandemic deaths, deceased estates, paying off people who might have given a fuck to shut up. ....
