    Thank you! The Chevrolet dealer here in Cypress, Texas discovered one of my "running lights" was out and quoted a price of $89 to replace it. Your video, a $3 bulb, and 5 minutes of my time solved the problem! (Okay, Jake Drake is my grandson. I have no idea why he's shown as the author of the comment!)

    Excellent video. Just had my headlight "brow go out" thought i had to remove the bumper for replacement. Thanks!!

    I recently upgraded the light above the headlight, side marker lights, tag lights, and reverse lights to LED. Looks much better. I've had the interior lights replaced with red LEDs for a while now, looks badass at night.

    That's cool, I think I have those 194 replacement leds left over from doing my interior lights. I'll have to do this. Looks good.

    I was curious if you had a link to the low beam bulbs you have installed..?

    I should be able to use all 194 Bulbs for all of the lens areas, only for the areas you showed in the video

      For all of the lights that I showed - yes.

      Mike Mariscal for interior you need CANBUS otherwise you'll have 'bulb out' errors and flickering or constant on issues. Also the interiors that are CANBUS don't have one sided polarity so you don't have a 50-50 chance of getting it in the right way the first time, it's 100% (depending if you got good quality)

      Thank you, I was thinking of getting Sylvania or Philips LED CANBUS quality ones

    Those are 1 of my first upgrades. I just couldn't see a new car with yellow lights anywhere. I just ordered upgraded light from Amazon. Should be in soon. Plus I bought a 17' traverse this past Sunday for the fam and the lights will go. Lol BTW how many times you dropped them eyebrow bulb trying to fit your hand in that crammed place. I tell you what. It sucks. Lol

    Did you use 6k or "Cool White" bulbs above the headlights? They seem to match the HIDs perfectly.

      +Greg Nannini Whatever the Jtechnow 194s are - don't remember their being a difference when I ordered them.

    Also those license plate lights/bulb will hiccup and throw a code on your monthly diagnostics from on star saying your license plate bulb is out but it's really not.

      @Tungsten23 Před 7 lety +1

      jake ramos you have to get CANBUS LED bulbs for the interior + Trunk + license plate lights.

    • @7071t6

      which is why you get NARVA ADR globes and they are a light blue in color and also have the white light as well, the only thing you cant change is the spot light globes unless you want to spend at least $200 + fitment for LED with built in inverter to stop any extra Voltage or amperage going back through the wiring etc. :)

    • @Tungsten23
      @Tungsten23 Před 7 lety

      7071t6 incorrect. I just paid $10.99 from amazon for 10 LED CANBUS lights. Changed ALL interiors AND did license plate lights. You only need resistors for lights that blink!
      **Edit: 2017 Chevy SS with about 1 month of testing with these CANBUS LED's, no issues still!

      No worries, i think is that fact that in australia they have different LED lights to suit cars etc. :) I know that for blinking lights they need risistors ?

    • @Tungsten23
      @Tungsten23 Před 7 lety

      7071t6 it's the SAME EXACT CAR AND WIRING. The same BCM that regulates "bulb out" warnings. I don't know who told you it takes $200 for LED lights on the inside.

    I dont know if you can get NARVA product over there, but they do make a + 30 % extra white light globe for the SS and the wedge globes as well which are white blue light and are ADR approved, which means they are made for the type of headlights plastic construction and for australian Design rules and GM approved because anything which is not will draw more current from the lines and you will find the wires will heat up as well ? if you use anything other than ADR approved globes, which is a bummer because the headlight globes are available, but the spot light globes which are the ones that are on the Series 1 SS's that come out re: the series 2 has no spot lights on the front, which means that you cant get nice light blue colored type globes for the fog lights, you can get a LED upgrade for the complete lights for the car, but they cost about $600.00 and you need a auto Electrician to fit them properly and they are not made to the ADR rules, (Australian Design Rules , but each to their own. I have a Series one Holden SSv redline and i will be using the NARVA Extreme Headlight globes and also getting the wedge lights which is the little globes you just replaced and also the rear rego or licence plate lights are the same type of globes. :)

      I haven't had any issues with LEO. I drove past plenty of police vehicles - in day and night - as long as the lights are working they don't care.
      Plus since these are not for light projection, just illumination - they work fine.

    I know many folks have said you will get errors; however, have you had any of these "codes" pop up? Are all of your LED including interior and exterior all CANBUS? Thanks in advance!

    • @bonecrrusherSS
      @bonecrrusherSS  Před 6 lety

      No codes - and my bulbs are not Canbus.
      I haven't swapped the interior bulbs.
