Hello, I am here to announce that E is a real number and not a physics number.
imagine a world where (a+b)²=a²+b²
It's called F_2.
No
you mean like if we had 3 and 4 as the ascii codes for a and b ?
thats true for 2*a*b=0
so either a=0, or b=0
Amazing, that these are the only solutions.
Technically, if you are doing your arithmetic in a field of order 2, this identity is true. In a field of order p, (a+b)^p = a^p+b^p (if p is a prime)
i've showed this to my maths teacher. doctor said there are some minimal chances he'll be conscious again.
good
@@hellishbrogaming3643dude wtf is that supposed to mean?
Ah yes, my favorite formula: E = c²m.
Also,
E = mc²
c² = a² + b²
E = m(a² + b²)
E = ma² + mb²
F = ma
E = Fa + mb²

the inverse trig notation thing killed me inside
And this is why I use terms like arcsin instead of sin¯¹
Actually, I like this notation more than arc-something notation.
sin⁻²x
using ^-1 for inverse functions is confusing. I write a bar over it instead ( if it’s not trig ). That’s much less confusing if you know it’s a function.
Honestly that's why I always write "arc". Trig notation isn't consistent with its own logic. Like if cos^-1 means inverse cos then cos^2 should mean taking the cosine of something twice. Or, the option that actually makes sense is function^-1 = 1/function
Thank you for bringing my depression back again Papa :D!!
Ah dear , it's fascinating
0:46 he calculated pi using integrals, a linerar function, and pi
it's technically correct; pointless, but not 'cursed'. This video is not creative, it's uninspired and lame.

It’s like handing v an unlabeled compass and telling it to head west. I love it

@@kaderen8461 Me too! ÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÜÜÜÜÜ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This reminded me of a passage from Stephen King's novel _IT:_
"He wanted to tell them that those dead boys who had lurched and shambled their way down the spiral staircase had done something worse than frighten him: they had _offended_ him.
_Offended,_ yes. It was the only word he could think of, and if he used it they would laugh-they liked him, he knew that, and they had accepted him as one of them, but they would still laugh. All the same, there were things that were not supposed to _be._ They offended any sane person’s sense of order, they offended the central idea that God had given the earth a final tilt on its axis so that twilight would only last about twelve minutes at the equator and linger for an hour or more up where the Eskimos built their ice-cube houses, that He had done that and He then had said, in effect: “Okay, if you can figure out the tilt, you can figure out any damn thing you choose. Because even light has weight, and when the note of a trainwhistle suddenly drops it’s the Doppler effect and when an airplane breaks the sound barrier that bang isn’t the applause of the angels or the flatulence of demons but only air collapsing back into place. I gave you the tilt and then I sat back about halfway up the auditorium to watch the show. I got nothing else to say, except that two and two makes four, the lights in the sky are stars, if there’s blood grownups can see it as well as kids, and dead boys stay dead.” You can live with fear, I think, Stan would have said if he could. Maybe not forever, but for a long, long time. It’s _offense_ you maybe can’t live with, because it opens up a crack inside your thinking, and if you look down into it you see there are live things down there, and they have little yellow eyes that don’t blink, and there’s a stink down in that dark, and after awhile you think maybe there’s a whole other universe down there, a universe where a square moon rises in the sky, and the stars laugh in cold voices, and some of the triangles have four sides, and some have five, and some of them have five raised to the fifth power of sides. In this universe there might grow roses which sing. Everything leads to everything, he would have told them if he could. Go to your church and listen to your stories about Jesus walking on the water, but if I saw a guy doing that I’d scream and scream and scream. Because it wouldn’t look like a miracle to me. It would look like an _offense."_

ddlc-mii remix: hold my beer
The last part is actually not wrong if you view it in 3D
Ah, Projective Geometry.
(not to scale)
0:38 You can actually formulate derivatives in a way where this holds, assuming that it is composition and not point-wise multiplication. The only thing is that derivatives of f : A -> B are no longer functions, but maps f : A -> (B x (A -o B)) where -o is a linear map which you make into a category.
It’s not composition. It’s a spoof of the product rule

Classic physics professors
That's actually pretty common in Physics and also quite handy. Imagine having five or six integrals nested, all with different bounds. Having the integration variable next to the bounds can be quite useful to see which variable will be integrated in which way
lol i did it today before this vid
I struggled so much to understand what was wrong with it.
I'm gonna have nightmares about the integral of dc being 2c
It's funnily correct as the integration constant is also c. Hence 2c
0:48 as an engineer who just barely passed physics I can't see anything wrong here
Usually the result is written AFTER equals. There's nothing wrong with equality here but the way it's written.
Also it’s a pointless self-referential identity - replace pi with any number and it holds true. Might as well say pi = pi
Since I love math and humor, thank you very much for this video.
0:53 some physics areas actually write integrals like this its painful
It's literally correct in circumstances, e.g. if the integral is a limit of sums of particular products and that product is sensitive to the order of operations, e.g.
∫ ds ⋀ F is different from ∫ F ⋀ ds.
nahh dude the doki doki lick was actually uncalled for please I'm dying

0:03 Ok there just flipped, not too bad
1:23 Ok WTF, it don’t look right 🤨
0:58 The fact that sin^2(x) = (sin(x))^2 for all x, but sin^-1(x) usually means arcsin(x), is a notation inconsistency.
Math notation sucks. 3b1b was right about the Triangle of Power
It is inconsistent, but it's sin^2(x) that's creates the inconsistency, not the sin^-1(x).
@@Spellweaver5 I agree. f^-1(f(x)) = x. And f^2(x) = f(f(x)), should be true. This would imply f^0(x)=x

Dude, who made this song? It's genious.
The Doki Doki reference was too good.
Integral of dx f(x) is literally what some physicist write which makes me die on the inside lmao
∫dx ƒ(x) is often perfectly fine to write, in fact, it's technically more correct in some contexts (e.g. Bochner integrals).
Some are feasible or even correct
Some are abuse of notation
Some are weird notation a mathmaticial pulled out of their ass
Some are just blatantly wrong
The α^2+β^2=γ^2 in the middle was perfectly fine
(a+b)² = a² + b²...

I can confirm, this video is mathematically correct.
did you just, do a transition from the mii channel music to your reality, this video is making me question my existence
The last one makes sense if you're viewing it from an angle. Then every missing angle is 90°.
0:18 What is this matrix one supposed to be?
I don't get the matrix at 0:18, can someone explain?
8 is being multiplied in the left side by the order 2 identity matrix (which is basically the 1 of matrix multiplication) and in the right side by a rotation matrix of angle (2k+1)pi, geometrically that means the object multiplied is flipped by 180 degrees, however, 8 (the symbol) flipped 180 degrees looks the exact same, so that's why both sides are "equal"
Could somebody explain the matrix one please? 0:18
Very nice. Is 1:10 division from right to left? So Q without the elements in R?

exactly. There is nothing wrong with a lot of these. The person who created these videos is clearly an uninspired person who lacks imagination and humour.
