    i train in china and have played all over asia and i dont think it's correct to say asian countries prefer quantity over quality. it is more accurate to say that asian coaches want to see perfect quality even as your body becomes severely depleted. the coaches believe if you can perform with perfect form even when you are at VO2 max and your muscles are ready to fail, only then is the training truly incorporated. so they push you very hard and continue to give you corrections and adjustments no matter how fatigued you are. they also believe this method of training builds toughness into the athlete, the ability to summon energy even when the ordinary athlete believes he cannot continue, plus strength of character

      I didn't said that either one is superior or inferior.....i meant it more in the way about the drills timings and all......like in Europe an average session is 2 hrs. Or 2.5hrs. Max....but in Asia it could be somewhere between 3-4 hrs.....
      And even in those 3-4 hrs. They will just focus on several drills only....but in just 2 hrs. Europeans will focus on any variations and drills......I think using the word 'volume' would have been better instead of quality or quantity...
      And so i think whether it is Europe or Asia everyone works on that mental toughness to push and still maintain quality at the very stage of fatigue.
      Thanks for the comment

    what is the reason why in advanced training top players do assault bike instead of running physically. As orthodox coaches say that running is beneficial for every sport on earth.

    • @badmintonfitness07
      @badmintonfitness07  Před 25 dny +3

      @@raoanwar1256 first reason is that running causes load on the joints and don't have much great transfer to badminton footwork......running is also too boring.
      Top players already have too much jumping volume in their training which loads the joint....then why add more unnecessary volume if you have better alternatives.
      It's not that running doesn't have benefit in sports, obviously in sports like cricket ,football, american football, hockey, athletics it have a great role to play....but in sports like badminton we have really good options like assault bike, stationery cycle etc.

    I think Asian type of training does a better job at drawing out the signature style/move of the player. Because of the quantity of shots, these badminton athletes can nurture their creative badminton moves which are not really conventional or intuitive and probably take more time and effort to perfect. I draw this observation from many indonesian players such as Aggripina, Budiarto, Daddies, Kevin, Ginting, Taufik, etc.
    It's not that I think European players are bland, I see a wider variety of styles in Asian players.

    Brother Ratchanok has a serious condition, that's disrespectful to the former world champion and world number 1.

      @@musicbeast8344 I clearly wrote that " No disrespect " and I know what a brilliant athlete she is.....The intention was to point that that out so that people know that lift with proper form......I was not aware about her condition but the other players with her were also lifting weights without proper technique otherwise I would have used there clips. Again NO DISRESPECT to anyone...
