I'm currently being treated together with my wife using this type of therapy. It has brought us closer together for sure.
I love that it's helping you two!
I am taking my test on Wednesday - I was supposed to take it 3-4 years ago but I had my first stroke right before the exam and by the time I reapplied I hit covid (the test was the week after the stay at home announcement) then I had to make up hours and then had stroke 2,3, and 4 which left me rehabbing physically as I was left with the inability to write walk talk and etc,. Now I have difficulty with remember - I did TDC and it was kind of helpful but the voice is not as playful - and I need visual. I really like your tone of voice. Thank you for making these. I am 5 years in the making of taking this exam.
Great content, as always! I am in my MSW program currently and I feel like I owe you tuition from how much I've learned from you. I appreciate you!
Haha!! I’m glad you’re finding these videos helpful.
I am currently an MFT student and will start my practicum soon, your videos are a guide for me, thanks so much !
Thank you so much for doing this channel. I may not agree with everything but it’s so important to get healthy psychological thinking more into the mainstream
Hi Steph! Would you consider some mock sessions? That would be so amazingly helpful !!! 😍
Yes, please ❤
This was so insightful! I especially like the explanation of the cycle of the problem with attachment, I can totally see how this occurs in my own relationship. I never fully realized the clingy phase after the conflict but now I see it and it definitely happens both ways. We're both doing our best to not fall into our pattern though and working so far
So glad you found the video insightful! Best of luck in breaking the pattern. It’s great when both partners see it and want to change it.
You are a great communicator and presenter. Thanks for sharing!
I've done most of that earlier working through my trauma from an very abusive relationship. I started making my music after 2 years of being completely separated from him and i made a few songs about him that really helped me dig deep and fix those raw wounds that i just covered with a bandage and in midst of our relationship i miscarried a child and so those old wounds came back to me forcing me to work through those wounds and realizing how much I've overcame and now I'm giving others my testimony and help them through my experiences. And making my music is something I always wanted to do since i was a child and my ex boyfriend at the time was very jealous and still is jealous of me and he used to destroy anything i created. While also destroying me. I'm still watching ur videos after the Twilight videos and they're helping me understand what i sent though and what i did that was useful to my development from that time until now. Thank u truly ❤

WOW, as a therapist trainee, I've been doing many of these concepts with my couples already, and I didn't even know it aligned with EFT couples therapy. This confirms I need to be treated as an EFT couples therapist. Thank you!
Amazing video!
I really liked this video I am not in a relationship with anybody whatsoever right now I was a long time ago but I liked your thought processes on emotionally focused behaviors it helps me pick up on some things that even if it's not a couple but some things that maybe I could do better in my life or maybe some other people close to me in my relationships even if it isn't a romantic partner so I sure appreciate the
I’m so glad that you liked it. Thank you watching ♥️
Great video!
I love her so much❤
She loves you back 🫶🏽
I wish my ex and I would have done this. Instead we ended up with a therapist that attacked me and glorified him. The issue we had as a couple is that we didn't see many things going on in the world as a unit. We were very far apart in our perspective and argued all the time. I left. He didn't come after me. He let me go and slept with about 7 different women. 30 years of marriage down the drain. Prior to this whole covid thing, we had been distant and slept in separate rooms. I wasn't allowed to have an opinion just like when I was a child. Prior to our separation we had been faithful and there was no abuse. He didn't want therapy and then when we got it, the therapist attacked me because I refused the covid shot due to prior guillian barre syndrome that still affects me today. I started drinking, which didn't help. Quit drinking 1.5 years ago. His mother was also part of the problem. She controlled people with money.
Now I am in a new relationship. I don't want to make the same mistakes.
❤️ this thank you 🙏🏾
Thank you for watching ♥️
I love how you do this kind of nerdy content and then also watch Love is Blind lol

@@StephAnya thank you.
AMEN ❤
I must come here and say this THANK YOU so much for all the theories videos. They helped me so much as I am reading the family system textbook and learning all the family theories. I really appreciate all the explanations. I love your videos. I wonder will you explain IFS in the future video? Seemed like it is very popular. Plus I would love to hear from you how counselors should use all these different theories in their practice. Should we pick one or integrate them? What is your suggestion? Thank you again. (I can’t wait to watch your love in blind videos … )
Mkayyyy so the harmony in the intro song!! Is that you sis??? 👀

The information you shared regarding buzzwords is gold. However, does the recommended textbook you mentioned uses identify buzzword information.

Do you find you use EFT, Gottman, or Imago therapy frameworks most in your relationship work?
I think I use Gottman principles most!
