6061-t6 is the type of aluminum. And is High quality with a tensile strength roughly 290 MPa. 2.00x2.00x0.250 square tubing 2 inches square with a 1/4 inch thick wall. So basically before going on to the rest of the video(s) its over built.

Very nice video! What type/brand paint did you use? Did you do any sanding of the spreaders before painting?

I am not the manufacturer, nor any part of the company. But can easily attest to the quality and workmanship that goes into the VHQhex. I felt it was better to put this investment in once than having to replace the lesser quality antenna another time or every couple of years. Dropping the tower is not a fun task and ranks right up there with root canal.
If I replaced my original (1.5 yrs old from a known maker) with the same it would have easily costed more then doing it once for a quality antenna like this one. For me lesson learned, you get what you pay for if you want quality and longevity. Your mileage may very according to location and financial ability.
      Thank you
