Please tell us your favorite New restaurant in Las Vegas!
Well, I just canceled my reservation at Ruth’s Chris and made one for CarverSteak! Thanks for the review, you two are becoming one of my favorite Vegas reviewers. ✌🏽
Awesome! Thank you! We appreciate that a lot.
You had me at bacon and onion bread. "Choose your weapon"😂😂🤣🤣
It was delicious
You two are proof that food indeed is entertainment 😂
We take that as a compliment 😊….thanks so much for watching!
The lobster looked incredible definitely a must place!!
Definitely different than something we have had before. Very good all around
We had fun watching this one. Really liked that you captured how much yall enjoyed everything. OMG, it is so important that the lobster taste lobstery.
To be fair I did say it was going to sound dumb 😂 thanks guys 🙏
I poke fun because I like you guys. I guess that means you are very relatable.
@@TomMindy we certainly are that
Wow just WOW! All of that Dinner look Fabulous! Thanks for taking us along!
Our pleasure! Thank you for coming with us!
So yummy! I love that the food was great and they actually have a hefe 🍺
😋
Thanks for the review. Soundtrack alone is enough to visit.
Absolutely. Those were definitely our style of jams!
Just found your channel. Great video and the food looked amazing. I am just surprised that a steak house didn’t have tablecloths. I am subscribing to your channel.
Thank you so much Barbara we hope you find more videos you enjoy with us 😊 . They seem to be going for a more modern style and less classic steakhouse vibe. That would be my guess about the table cloth part.
Fantastic video and we can’t wait to try Carver Steak!! That lobster 😍💯
You should!
Wow! That meal looked amazing. Your videos are so good. We miss Vegas so much, we had a trip booked for April 2020 and then the pandemic hit. We haven't been since and we are normally there 2 to 3 times a year. Thank u for posting these videos.
Thanks so much!! We just got back so got a few more to go for you. Hope you can make it back soon!
Setting the bar high for 2022! Everything looked great. Awesome video, can't wait to try this place out
Thanks Griffon, hopefully we can find a few spots that give it a run for its money this year!
Everything looked AMAZING!!! You both looked like you had a good buzz going from the beginning! I loved this video😂😂😂🙌🙌
Thanks Nicole for watching. Believe it or not we actually hadn’t had much to drink before this meal, we were just super excited to eat there. We had been planning it for nearly two months and were stoked to try a new restaurant .
Great Video, just subscribed. Looking forward to going there.
Wow! Thanks so much!
I live for this channel !!!!!
Thank you so much!
Looks delicious! Thanks for the review!
Thanks for watching!!!
Wow that RibCap looked awesome! Now I know that Carversteak, Oscar's at the Plaza, and Stripsteak at Mandalay Bay carry them. I'm compiling a list of steakhouses in Vegas with RibCaps! 😀
We have had it at all three of those. Was disappointed at Oscars but loved the others. I do think Bugsy and Meyers at Flamingo might have one as well, but might want to check their menu. It’s so good usually
@@JoshRachael Well look at that! I just looked at Bugsy and Meyer's menu and they do carry it! So that's 4 places. Would love to see you cover that and do a comparison on all of them on which is best.
I plan on staying at Mandalay Bay this summer and definitely want to check out Stripsteak for sure!
@@e815usa Stripsteak is where I tried it for the first time and it was amazing. We don't venture to too many Caesars spots but I have seen some good reviews from there so might check it out at some point for sure.
That dinner looked amazing!
We'll be going to Las Vegas nezt month and staying at Resorts World. We're definitely going to have dinner at Carversteak.
It was delicious! Picking our own steak knives gives it its own special twist!
Enjoy!
MAN ALL THE FOOD REALLY LOOKS YUMMY AND THAT WAS DEFINITELY A WHOLE LOT OF FOOD, YOU BOTH SHOULD BE STUFFED LOL 😆, THANKS FOR SHARING, KEEP UP THE AWESOME JOB.
Thanks Tracey - it was a whole lotta food, but absolutely delicious!!
Now that is a MEAL!!! Looked so good
It sure was! So good 😋
first i have to say i love your dress and the food looked so yummy one of my favorite videos so far
Thanks Tracy - it’s super comfortable too!!
Everything was delicious! We would definitely go back!
Looks like a meal of the year
Thank you! It certainly is going to be a tough meal to beat
Yummm that looked good!
😋
Thank you for the review I watch quite a few of steakhouse reviews and the one thing that surprises me is how noisy they are. That said, I enjoyed your objective and frank review, keep them coming!
No doubt. We have really started to notice this since we started recording. Wing Lei might be the only restaurant that wasn’t super loud from our Las Vegas restaurants for dinner. I would guess it goes along with the Las Vegas keep the party alive style, but can certainly get annoying
The food looks absolutely amazing especially the lobster will definitely need to try this place the next time I’m in Vegas , keep up the great work love your vlogs take care from all of us in Scotland 🏴 👍🏻
Wow that is so cool that you are watching our stuff from Scotland. Always feels nice to help people out. Thank you for watching
@@JoshRachael we are just back from Vegas spent a week in the Paris hotel from the 29th of December until the 5th of January absolutely loved the New Year celebrations 👌🏻We had some amazing nights out including Hells Kitchen , Cleaver Butchered meats & the Top of the World restaurant at the Strat but would definitely have tried Carversteak if I’d known it was there but never mind there’s always the next time 😜👍🏻
@@bhobbybhoy6244 there is always a reason to go back we find. Thanks a lot
I love that Lobster in a blanket! 🦞🦞🦞
So cute you just have to eat it, haha
@@JoshRachael yup!
Well, this one is definitely going on the roster, hahaha! The minute I saw you got to choose your own kickass knife for the steak, I knew this was the place for me. That's a really unique, game changing move from the restaurant, in my opinion; it's all about the little touches like this nowadays.
Totally agree. We were just discussing that this weekend. Just got back from New Orleans and actually said we had a better meal/experience. There are little touches that add up throughout the entire experience to set places apart. Last year we struggled to see how one steakhouse separated itself from the other, and the knife selection and tableside presentations helped elevate this place for sure!
Dam you guys killed it, that meal looked like something you eat after winning a grand jackpot on a slot machine. And I'm sure it cost as much. Thanks for the great video.
It definitely wasn't cheap - we put the prices of everything in the details. Gotta treat yourself now and then :)
The place’s looks great, josh cute of meat the and fresh ingredients looked great.what was on the lobster, the fish dish looked great. Who did the platting of the food look to you, great job.
The lobster had a great puff pastry crust - plated up by the server! Table side presentation really does change up the experience, in a good way!
Thanks for watching!
Great review! Can you please do a comparison with Wally’s downstairs at RW? Thank you!
This was our first try at RW for dinner restaurants but happy to look at pretty much any awesome restaurant. We are always up for trying good foods
LOL!! Ribcap is the King of meat. Have you been to Oscar's for their ribcap?? So far I've had ribcaps at Barry's and Oscar's, both were execellent, but I'm going to give the edge to Oscar's. Carversteak is now on my list.
Ribcap has become my favorite (Josh) choice of meat as well recently. Sadly we were disappointed at Oscar's :( not sure if it was an off night or what, but we had very poor service and the meat was charred to jerkey - and it was a Ribcap so you can guess how disappointing that was.
One spot that rarely gets mentioned but has Ribcap is StripSteak at Mandalay Bay - we went there during our second Vegas Vlogging trip and it was our first time trying Ribcap and hooked us. It is also a Michael Mina restaurant - which is easily one of my favorite chefs hands down.
Here is the link - it was in our early days so hopefully you think we have gotten better since then :)

@@JoshRachael I'm planning to hit every restaurant in Vegas that has ribcaps. Sorry about your experience at Oscar's. Here in the San Francisco bay area, not one steak house has ribcap. Btw, the SF bay area is way, way, way over rated in terms of restaurants, that's why I spend a lot of time in Vegas just to eat, lol. The best restaurants in the country. I've only been to RiRA at the Mandalay for their scottish eggs, but the steakhouse is now on my list.
Looks really good! Hope this restaurant helps Resorts World. Keep hearing about how the rooms are under occupied there.
We were disappointed with RW our first time there in September. The place felt a lot better this time as compared to September. Lot more people. Restaurants and bars filling in. Didn’t feel like an empty mall like it did our first time. The place is sooo big it’s hard to imagine them simply pulling all players away right away in the beginning
Wow it all looked yummy! How did you order your steak (rare?)
We always go Medium Rare with Steaks. This one restored my faith in RibCaps after a disappointing one at Oscars during our last trip.
That fish dish is making Miso-hungry.
Very smooth 😂
Great to see this review. I’ve been really disappointed with all the vlogs I’ve seen about Resorts World, from the meh casino to the hangar-looking boring mall area. Even the restaurants seemed ehhh. Only thing, the restaurant itself looked like an upscale Chilis. Forgettable atmosphere… but that food looked great from start to finish (and February 1 is National Baked Alaska Day).
Thanks Brian. Do note that we were sat in the bar area…which was disappointing I will say. The dining room I caught A short glimpse of and is shown in our transition from dinner to wrap up but still is not elegant like Prime at Bellagio. We agree with the other reviews about RW being without-character but did enjoy this meal for sure.
RIP Jeremy. Also the knives 👏❤️❤️ I guess they allow filming now? I will say nothing in that meal makes me curious but I'm glad you liked it
Steakhouses kind of have it figured out now from a format standpoint. Not a lot can be done to change it dramatically. Good thing we love steak…btw is Jeremy the Lobster?
@@JoshRachael you didn't even know his name!?
@@VegasIntrovert go eat a salad Daniel
Not going to lie, im not a seafood person BUT it did look extremely good. You guys make me want to try this place and order lobster. 😃👍oh, and that coconut cake / pineapple on fire 🔥 😋
Haha thanks Ted! If your gonna try some seafood this one would be a good one to get you into eating it, though it was quite expensive for sure but did taste amazing. Definitely get the desert but share it, it really eats more like a fancy looking sundae but the sorbet or whatever was delicious
@@JoshRachael one day. Haha
@@SleeplessInLasVegas Do you eat shrimp? That seems like the easiest way to to venture into seafood. Fried Shrimp for sure
It looked pretty good but very expensive. How much did you pay, if I may ask?
Absolutely not budget friendly, We put the complete price breakdown in the details, even the tax. Thank you for watching. It was an amazing meal, but not one you can do all the time.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think Josh was feeling good from some cocktails 🍹😀
Good drinks and good food has that effect on me 😉
@@JoshRachael and I love it!!! Same haha
@@annew4259 😋
This is Lobster Thermador.
Whatever the name is I will eat it 🍴 🤤 🥄
Food looked great! Atmosphere not so great!
It was a little odd because it seemed as though we were on the bar side.
Umm yeah that 3td knife was dirty and the presentation of the lobster for ME is too much playing with my food.
On a lighter note my last 2 children are named Josh and Rachel......from the Bible.
Love you guys
Totally missed the knife part. It was pretty dark in there. The lobster presentation was pretty cool, we like a little tableside flair. Your kids have great names by the way 😉
The third knife isn't dirty- it's Damascus steel, so it has intricate patterns throughout. :)
So the food industry has officially ruined the ribeye steak . I find this very depressing and frankly offensive . One of my favorite cuts no longer available because why sell a steak for $ 70 when you can mutilate it into two pieces and sell it for $140 . Thank you for sharing your experience and regardless of my opinion on the restaurant I enjoyed your video and Rachael’s dress is super cute. 😁
Thank you for your thoughts. It is depressing to think of it that way. My hope would be that they use the rest of the rib-eye for some other dish, would make a great year overpriced burger I’m sure.
@@JoshRachaelunfortunately it’s been my recent experience that the caps are disappearing from ribeye steaks . I guess I’ll just have to start asking to see the ribeye to take measurements before I decide on my order from now on 😜 $70 for a steak ,I expect to enjoy it ,not get depressed. First world problems 😝. Thank you for your reply 😁
@@ebeb516 I will definitely be watching for this in the future. Will be a total ripoff if no rib cap included.
