I'm sure you don't pay attention to all the people saying that 30 hours is too much blah blah blah.. but what they fail to realize is that you were getting paid for those 30 hours. You do great work and people are obviously willing to pay for your services because of it. Keep the videos coming I would love to run a shop like yours someday and I am working my way there.. Igbo Prince I'm in the industry, I quote this around 5k possibly. we just did a brumbus 6x6 amg. full paint correction, ceramic coating, and digisheild. his end ticket was 13k. on a 1.3 million truck. it was an incredible experience

Hey Junior. Go look into what it takes to run an operation out of a large truck or a commercial garage. If you had any idea what commercial property costs, you wouldn't look down on people with vans.
Additionally, a lot of people don't even bother with a shop because many customers prefer you to go to them.

While I apreciate the work put into this and enjoy somewhat the video your statement is ignorant. The car wash is more then enough for most people. The swirls are noticeble only from up close and most people don't care You do detailing to a car that's going on a stand or to a car show. Paying 5k to keep a car shiny for a couple of weeks is just throwing money away. There are more imporant things in life than wasting a lot of time and money to shine a piece of metal so you can show everyone how cool you are and how owning a 600 bhp car makes you so important. Obsessing about a car just shows how sad and broken you are on the inside.
this will last more than a few weeks. Foam washing and air drying will keep this car looking like this for i would say years if the owner treats it right.
ceramic coating should keep it from being scratch for a long time
DjCatani the paint is brought back to being perfect and then it is ceramic coated which is like putting a super thin and super hard layer of synthetic glass over the clear coat that will last quite a while and keep the clear coat from being damaged again during that time. Now all the owner will need to do is a pressure wash and blow dry to keep it looking glossy and mint.
You're right that most people are good with a drive through on their Toyotas, but this is a $150k car, and this sort of thing is either done as soon as it is bought, or after a few years of owning it to prep it for sale. Either way it's great correction and protection for people who value their rides.

Couple of questions on techniques: 1) wash car with foam still on car? 2) spot compounding only where required, then polish entire car?
