1990 3rd gen Camaro, Finishing Brake line, serpentine belt/ water pump, tuning, test drive/ tuning

  • Working on the 1990 Camaro 3rd gen z28 I-rocz. Getting it ready for Big sky Race Week in Montana. Installed water pump, serpentine belt, sway bar end links, brake hose, and bleed brakes, fill system with water. fire the car up and let run. Adjust some stuff and a little test drive. Also some trenching and running wire for the new shop.

    What rear gear and tire diameter?

      3.24 gears and 28” tires

      @@bickfordcustoms not sure were your shift points are going to be at but here are your Rpm's in every gear you have at 100MPH.
      100-x-3.24-x-2.48-x-336-/-28=9642.24
      100-x-3.24-x-1.48-x-336-/-28=2754.24
      100-x-3.24-x-1.00-x-336-/-28=3888.00
      100-x-3.24-x-0.75-x-336-/-28=2916.00

      Sweet. Yeah I’m assuming upper 5000rpm to shift. But it’s all in what we can tune the Holley system. We are doing a test and tune day in early June. So hopefully I can get it dialed then

      @@bickfordcustoms You could also look into a product called a " DRAGGY" I bought one for my brother. they are really cool. Lots of videos about them online.
