I'm from Perú and in Latin América we don't know Nana, but I adoooooooore her tk to CZcams. Nana is one of the best in history.

In Europe and the rest of the world he was HUGE! My wife saw him in LA back in the 80's. He was never that popular here, but that did not prevent his popularity. LIsten to "Me Va" and "Moonlight Lady". Beautiful Songs!!

Enrique is Julio's son and just as gorgeous as his dad. "Bailamos" was a great song of his that you'd probably enjoy. He sings it in both English and Spanish. Great dance beat with some lovely Spanish guitar and castanets.

Enrique is Julio’s son. Check out Julio’s duet with Diana Ross - All of You. You have to do the video version. Watching it 40 years on it is actually hilarious and soooo ‘80s kitch. Both tracks are from his 1100 Bel Air Place. It was Julio’s first English-language album. He did several duets with well-known American artists as a way to make the album more accessible to an American (English speaking) audience. I had the cassette tape. I all but wore out the All of You track.

Julio and Willie are two extremely popular singers that don’t have an exceptional vocal range, or crazy runs, or other vocal tricks. They’re just good singers. It gives folks like me hope.

Willie’s so we’ll known for doing duets the Bellamy Brothers have a line in their song “Hillbilly Hell” about having a dream of not making it to Heaven because they didn’t do a duet with Willie. 😂
This duet however doesn't match up well and seems kinda forced.

Finally yes yes yes you have discovered Julio Iglesias. This is such a great song and after watching this video my recommendation is moonlight Lady I believe Julio’s best song in English. Thank you guys 1 million times over he is my favorite singer in Spanish that is.
Enrique Iglesias is Julio's son. He originally sang in Spanish but in the late 90s included English lyrics on his albums and became a big crossover artist. Try "Bailamos" and "Hero".

Willie has albums filled with duets, mostly live performances. From Miss Dolly Parton & Miss Loretta Lynn to Susan Tedeschi, Sheryl Crow, Vince Gill, Shania Twain, plus Rob Thomas, Snoop Dogg, Nora Jones, Eric Clapton, Paul Simon & Bon Jovi..... Mr. Nelson has lots of friends.
His duet of "Homeward Bound" with Paul Simon is special. 💜

I am Spaniard and from nearby the town his parent came from. I knew that he was maybe the biggest Spaniard artist in sales. Still impacts hearing him in English and with Willy. It makes me feel proud.

Julio Iglesias was massive in the 80's. He did duets with lots of people including an amazing one with Dolly Parton. The great comedian Johnny Carson did a satire of this song on his late night show with Julio Iglesias, and Johnny imitating Willie. Julio couldn't stop laughing. It was hilarious. Julio had an amazing album of covers released in 1990. Asking the great subs were "Vincent (Starry Starry Night," - "When I Need You", - Nat King Cole's "Mona Lisa" - "99 Miles From L.A." and so many other great songs. Julio captured women's hearts back then with his suave, smooth voice and manners and of course many women found him very attractive with his latin flavor. He was a soccer player who got injured and was unable to continue the sport. Needing something to do with his life he decided to try singing. He became a legend!

Jay you aren’t wrong. Enrique Iglesias is in fact Julio’s son. He did a collaboration with Cuban Miami Rapper Pitbull a song called “I like it” from 2010 which featured lyrics from Lionel Richie’s “All night long” “we’re going to party, karamu, fiesta, forever” I think it would be a fun listen. Also back to Julio Iglesias he did a beautiful ballad called “All of you” with none other than the amazing Diana Ross. I think his voice shines alot more there and his singing can be better appreciated.

I remember this song (and liked it) but mostly remember if for the memorable performances of it where Johnny Carson, the Tonight Show host back in the '80s and '90s, did it with both Willie Nelson *or* Julio Iglesias. When he did the duet with Julio, Johnny dressed up as Willie, complete with braid, beard, and headband, and he actually wasn't bad as a singer. Given he'd been through several marriages, the "someone else's wife" line made everyone roar with laughter.
I love Julio, helped with my Spanish a great deal. I went to his concert when he came to my country, front row seat. I also was at his song Enrique's concert with one of my BFFs got rum in my eyes from all the jumping and singing out loud. 2 great and beautiful voices. Such a great duet too with Willie.

Oh my God, one of my dad's favorite songs. Not because of Willie, but because he loved Julio. Enrique is Julio's son. Julio mainly did spanish songs but did have a few english hits. Willie could do that nasally singing and was famous for his sound, but he was no singer even close to Julio. Julio had an amazing voice. You can't really call him a crooner since spanish singing is just another style, but he was definitely known for that sound that was all about the Romantic Ballads.
