      Man, I remember all this shit as it was nowdays, 2012 & 13 was two of the worst years of my life, I was a teenager, but in the music I've found some comfort, Weapons came in a moment that really helped me for some times, I didn't want to believe that this guy wasn't innocent, in nov '13 when he was sentenced my life was a completely mass, I never stop to listen their songs, but my dream of see these guys on live will never become real, maybe I can get part of this with their new project, No Devotion.

      When this guy was sober, he was really good on mic, in this last one the others members said that he was acting a little bit different, making good performances and in the same energy of the band, he was being a dick untill that time, maybe he knew about the investigation and was trying to make every show after his overdose as it was the last concert in his life? Maybe the only 0,01% of dignity in this guy was the genuine love for music and in those lasts performances this little part was predominantly and then, it over and now his life is about to end, he destroyed lives, families and the band history, a job of more than one decade involving 5 other guys, that was completely innocent.

      THayondX93 he did not know for 'sure' but the net was closing. Remember he'd already been arrested twice, and bailed twice. He had a faint hope they wouldn't crack his encryption. He'd surrendered his passport upon second arrest as well as one of his account access. When arrested the final time, he threw a titanic tantrum in custody when bail was denied. He never looked at the video evidence and never answered a single question. His face was never clear in the video, nor was his voice. You can see him 'living it up' in a weird way in this final show. Were it not for his tatoos he would've gone to trial and 'who knows' what the outcome would've been.

      @Barack W. Trump Multiple charges lay on file. Watkins got the sentence he did almost 'solely' on the video he filmed, a crime he can't and never will accept or come to terms with. Since he will NEVER speak about that video he worked effortlessly to hide there's no point in analyzing him anymore. He admits to everything besides culpability in the attempted rape of the baby, it's a crime so non understandable he'll never ever EVER admit to it

      They skip an entire verse in the music video for some reason and just go straight into the chorus. That's probably the video editing team's fault but it's not unheard of for music videos to change up the song unfortunately (since the song has to fit within the narrative and scope of the video itself).

    Let's be honest. Watkins was more about the looks and lyrics than his vocal capability, however, in the final stage of the band (2010-2012) he worked on improving a bit his singing, yet he does that and goes straight to jail. It's a shame those incredible songs now are tainted because of this psycho, hadn't this occured, the could have gotten a new and better singer since they were going to fire him anyway.

    • @gabrielrlki7102
      @gabrielrlki7102 Před rokem +5

      He was addicted to meth in this final run, even with his addiction, his vocals was great... Just imagine what they could've do after Weapons? Gaze (lead guitarist) was very disappointed with Ian problems (involving drugs and his narcissism) but Gaze love make songs, loved Lostprophets and was very professional and was a great writer. I give a chance for No Devotion, they have potential, but will never be a "great band", even knowing this, I'll support this project, their debut album is good and the vocalist (he was from that band... Thursday) dont have the same rage that Ian had, but the style that they're working now is different.

      What? His voice doesn't sound good here at all, and he's barely interacting with the people. He isn't on top of his game at all. Even the band members complained about it. This is definitely not one of his best shows. Likely due to the fact he knew he'd be going to prison and, maybe, he was still doing drugs.

      @Erik Ruiz according to Stu (their bass player) Ian actually seemed like he was getting better towards the end of their 2012 gigs right before he was arrested (of course the band reportedly was extremely distant with him towards the end so who knows what they truly were aware of). Gaze OTOH has openly admitted since the conviction that he had been bored with Lostprophets for various reasons really since Liberation Transmission came out. It's a shame because I think Lee is ACTUALLY the most talented member of the band (he's a hell of a guitarist).
