- UTSA Quarterback Frank Harris was 18 of 36 for 209 yards passing with a touchdown, but he was intercepted three times. Kevorian Barnes rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown for UTSA, which finished with 417 yards. Houston held on for a 17-14 win over UTSA on Saturday night.

UTSA may have lost by three points but they still played a great game.

I was a child when they left and I’m still salty too.
Because they left the county with a bill on the dome for upgrades to accommodate the oilers, and made it less useful for baseball.
I remember Bud Adams talking about how he was going to show off his anticipated new ring to Mayor Bob Lanier by holding up his middle finger.

Houston couldn't get any offense going, but the interceptions really hurt any momentum UTSA had

I was particularly impressed by the lack of undisciplined penalties.
Only three penalties is a massive improvement over the last several years.

UH offense was so disappointing in my opinion, I don't believe we will start playing like a big 12 team until we get some big 12 talent and experience, which is gonna take a few years.

UTSA lost today and had to beat someone. utsa will lose again next week 1-3 going into conference looks like a 6 or 7 loss season for nUTSAck. No more beating up on cusa chumps for conference championships..

I don’t think it would’ve done much. It would’ve been inches literally. Qb sneak it or delay Qb sneak would’ve worked, or could’ve punt and play on 1st down marker with outside coverage to prevent time stoppage.
@@Tekevinit was more than a couple inches. He was clearly short of the 48. At the least it was a half yard short. If anything call should have stood. Maybe Houston punts. If they don’t get it, they basically lose.

@@santaclause3487 I completely agreed it was short further then inches, but I was basing it off the spot. You’re right about that though. As for the first down that’s why I’ll sit coverage just shy of the first down. Give them 3-4 yard each play with 1 timeout right?
