PUTONG BIGAS NI ATCHE (STEAMED RICE MUFFIN)

Putong bigas or steamed rice muffin is made from grinded ordinary rice instead of the usual flour (Don't use glutinous or what we call malagkit rice). Putong bigas is a delightful Filipino steamed rice cake or muffin. This is a perfect merienda or snack which is traditionally made from ordinary rice which is fermented and steamed.
