@@tsyumamatsuthehavenofguard32 I'd say dmc is better at this than KH is. In DMC your skills are your skills. In KH there's a ton of tracking, auto-aim, context sensitive moves, etc. Half of KH combat plays itself for you. It LOOKS impressive, but that's a lot of 2 button mashing right there.
My favorite was the Zantetsuken in KH3D. Ansem yeeted me to the end of the road, started barfing out a sky full of projectiles. Instead of parkouring back, I just hit X. Screen went black, I teleported 100 feet and stabbed him in the chest.

The thing I love about Kh2 data fights compared to 3 is you can do stuff like this. You have a lot more agency around when you actually can do damage. 3 is about surviving until they give you an opening.
That’s because in three they gave every single attack invincibility frames meanwhile in 2 and from a certain point of view three you can attack them while they are attacking and you know go ham on them
I mean, that's how it is with pretty much every game with boss mechanics like this. Kh 1 and 2 are weird because they let players play in such a cheap manner by looping stuns in 1 and revenge values in 2. In KH3, you're actually responding to the actions of the boss rather than just nullifying everything the boss does. You have to actually skillfully dodge and block rather than spam reflect and lock them into a stun combo. So while you're attacking in Kh3, you have to actually break your combo and dodge/block. And you have to actually pay attention to your positioning relative to enemies since you don't have an all encompassing reflect. Not to mention the possibilities of combat in KH3.
There’s plenty of videos of KH3 data fights that show that you can do a lot of different things during combat in the fights; there’s not one thing you have to do. Plus; in kh2, you still have to strike at an opening. I don’t really see the difference other than the combat systems being slightly different; but the principle of only being able to attack when there’s an opening is really the same. Tbh; I don’t understand this comment.
I swear if credits rolled from this fight, I would just break in tears. This was AMAZING! Your skill should be a set bar to this! What a finish! Like a final conflict in an anime! Really would add much more sadness if Sora knew EXACTLY who Roxas was and what happened to him.
It's genuinely so cool to see somebody who has mastered the game and mastered combos and even in the worst situations they always make a comeback and look awesome!

I know I can't be the only one who See's this in the animation for each button pressed by the player and AI fighting you. *Roxas footing and spacing is on point- but if you think about it he's just recklessly swinging his keyblade a stlye he must've created on his own throughout his journey* While is as Sora is doing the same cause their the same being but he's controlled that reckless swinging into his own masterful stlye of sword fighting throughout his journey. *Now both journey's collid in a clash between 1 within the same heart to see who keeps the better promise* . . One side determined to end his other half and his fun , thinking he'll set things right through his actions. The other side thinking the organization is my enemy but also has no idea why he feels the same way.. - Pretty interesting as each note of the song also doesn't just show us how much Roxas has been through but also shows us , -How well they both aged throughout both of their journeys for this one fight.

You start with 20 HP. You can get 20 HP Upgrades in the game. Each HP Upgrade gives you 5 extra HP, so you Max out at 120 The exception is Critical mode. Each HP Upgrade gives you 2 HP, so you Max out at 60. Same with MP btw. You start out with 100. There are 4 MP upgrades in the game. They give you 10 extra MP each, except in Critical Mode, where they only give you 5 MP each.

I think this is the best version because both sides used flashy moves... won and lost exchanges. Much more realistic than a one sided battle full of blocking and poking for the perfect score
I didn't see him using 3 limits, but it is possible. If you have the MP Rage ability (unlocked on Wisdom Form level 4 and on the hidden dragon keyblade) you regain MP whenever you take damage. The more damage you take the more MP you regain, but only when you are not on MP recharge. That restores enough MP to use another limit. In fact you can purposely take damage and use limits over and over again. Another way is to have 120 MP (the maximum in critical mode). The sonic rave limit uses 60 MP, so after 2 Sonic Raves you are at 0 MP. For some reason you are not in MP recharge yet, so you can use another limit if you want.

It only sucks because it automatically activates antiform after you have gotten final form. I used a loophole here cause antiform only activates if you have Donald and/or goofy alive and since it’s a solo fight, I didn’t have to worry about that
play it cuz it's fun. I just skip cutscenes and stuff and primarily replay for the combat. besides that's the narrative people have about animation, saying it's for kids while it can be just as good as adult shows just different concepts or ideas.

Its on the critical mode, its the hardest mode, sora gets less HP and get access to some diferent skills that he doesn't start with
