Nintendo Cinematic Universe is COMING! (Nintendo Pictures Revealed)

Nintendo aquired the company "Dynamo Pictures" and renamed it to their own, "Nintendo Pictures" This could be big for the future of Nintendo's place in Hollywood.

Today Nintendo revealed the reasoning behind their newest acquisition of a company called “Dynamo Pictures” now with the acquisition renamed “Nintendo Pictures”
They explained that this acquisition is important to them for delivering new animated content based on their already existing IP’s.
This company is not new to the gaming space though, they’ve worked on numerous games such as, Death Stranding, Monster Hunter World, and Persona 5 involving motion capture...
Nintendo must’ve seen the value of this company and decided to acquire them at the perfect time because this is around the time of production for their highly anticipated Super Mario Movie that is being produced by illumination.
Many people have been speculating if this is the only Hollywood attempt from Nintendo… fans are hoping that Nintendo may be working on a NCU or Nintendo Cinematic Universe… similar to Marvel Studios movies based on their wide variety of already existing IP’s
This is completely possible with the massive and insanely popular roster of characters that Nintendo is currently gatekeeping from getting their spotlight in a full fledged movie.
Honestly I wouldn't be mad if Nintendo just ripped a page from Marvels book and made multiple Solo movies for their most popular characters and ended it with a massive team up movie. Possibly a smash bros movie.

Nintendo has yet to prove if they can make a good movie with their mascots.
Buying a motion capture studio is all fine and well, but that has to be seen if the quality reflect onto the movies as well.
Sonic The Hedgehog from the very beginning was already a failure due to the tone deafness of the directors vs the fanbase.
And because of the whole redesign and the director Jeff Fowler actually listening to the fanbase, has made the Sonic movie franchise successful one.
Sonic is now getting a 3rd movie with Shadow, that is unheard of!, especially for movies based on the video games.
If the 3rd one succeeds then SEGA might expand on their other IP's to give it a movie treatment like Sonic.
Nintendo has a lot of catch up to do..
Nothing stops Capcom and Square Enix for making their own cinematic division for their mascots.
And Microsoft rumored to buy off Netflix is also indication of expansion towards movies.
