I’m so happy that Chris got the opportunity to make an animation for Tenacious D and put his Blender animation skills to the test. Chris always talks about Jack Black and Kyle Gass in an endearing way on his channel so I know how much this means to him and his fans. If I were Chris I wouldn’t have been able to keep this animation project a secret up until now.
It COMPLETELY BAFFLES ME how good the entire newgrounds OG’s are at keeping things under wraps for so damn long… sometimes even when shit comes out they’re so humble about it or distracted that they forget to mention it.
…maybe it’s cause of all the attempts that never quite landed and they’ve learned to not count their chickens before they hatch… man, now I’ve made myself sad again about hellbenders….
Make myself happy again and hope Chris gets both of tenacious-D on some episodes in the future and they collaborate on many more projects into the future!
It feels like the last animation we saw from Chris was a while ago, but apparently he has done nothing but work on his animation skills because holy shit that was incredibly well done!

This animation is just... Sublime. I watched it like five times, admiring the character's movements and their expressions, the fluidity of the animations, the incredible consistency in the characters 'personality' even across different animation styles - its just incredible.

Kudos to you, the Fallout 4 'Claws are really terrifying. The Fallout 3/NV ones were always a bit comical, because of how they ran with their arms opened wide. But in Fallout 4 they looked and ran like a deadly predator.
