I want to share my personal experience and the lesson I learned the hard way. Join me as I delve into the story of my regretful decision to delete the rear muffler of my beloved Z3 BMW.
Have you ever been tempted to make modifications to your car, thinking it would enhance its performance and give it an aggressive edge? Well, that's exactly what I thought when I decided to remove the rear muffler from my Z3 BMW. Little did I know, it would turn out to be a decision I would soon come to regret.

I got the same result of bad droning when I first put the MF X-piped muffler in my 01 z3 2.5i, it was horrible. But interestingly, after I slapped an upgrade kit on my DISA valve, cleaned the intake parts out a bit, and fixed all the small vacuum leaks, the drone is miraculously reduced about 90%! All it left now is a blood-pumping muscle car-like exhaust sound and low-pitch pops here n there🎉
