People who know Heart only from late '80s MTV have NO IDEA how good they were in the 70s...their first four albums are chock-full of great vocals and music, as this clip proves...
The Wilson sisters are amazing and deserve the attention they get, BUT, Roger, Steve, Michael and Howard were an amazingly talented and under-rated force
"High Time" This footage was from August/September of 1978, during the end of the 'Little Queen' tour, and just before the start of the 'Dog and Butterfly' tour. Heart usually played this song #2, right after the show opener #1 'Cook With Fire'. The video on stage, is from the September 2, 1978 show 'Portland Jam 78' at the Portland International Raceway.. At the time, Heart was touring with supporting act > Bob Welch. Ticket Prices .......... $6.50 to $7.50 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rehearsing while roller skating, while the stage is being set for an enormous show - this is the part the fans never get to see prior to the concert. Thank you so much for posting this - it brings the whole experience full circle for those of us who adore Heart. I don't think there will ever be anything like this band again. EVER.
I loved Heart from day one Ann and Nancy are extremely talented ! Wow..I remember watchin this clip many years ago...Its a great thrill to see these clips of Heart from the 70s. Yes...The original group was the best!!! Ann still sounds fantastic to this day.MUch Love to the Wilson sisters for giving us all this amazing music!!! They are Queens of Rock!
Absolutely agree. Outstanding guitarists and a phenomenal drummer are often overshadowed by Ann and Nancy. There is no I in team , and man did they have the best ‼️‼️‼️
That was cool watching them set up and watching Ann sing on rollerskates..how adorable when she spins around as she is singing. Thanks for uploading this alexanncy, thank you very much.
Video Inside the skating rink is from October 5, 1978 at The Forum ~ Montreal, Canada. This was the opening show for The Dog & Butterfly Tour 1978/1979.
I second that!!!! I wish Heart would release this in CD/DVD/BluRay, or actualy make a box set of live material from 1975-1985! if ANYONE has a source even CLOSE to the master of this video...PLEASE post it and contact me!!! Thanks & GOD Bless
On the top of there game. Roger Fisher always elevated the intensity that Ann oozed. What can I say about Howard Leese? Love his playing here and with Paul Rodgers.
Yeah thats what Id like to know...where do the people out here get a hold of all these great clips of all the great groups of the 60s and 70s etc.??? Id like to know !!!!
@TheWhalerfan OMG if I had a hot tub time machine and could go back to '78....there's sooo much I would do. But I'd need to figure out how to avoid a repeat of any past crap and just keep the good times.
WRONG SON!!!!! 1st. Roger should have played with the thousand groupies in front of him and not nancy. 2nd. the band in this lineup could not be better.

Howard Leese is freakin gorgeous.
Nice tilt starting @ 1:34.
The original band burned bright, but not for long - really only a couple peak years. I dig that they're doing Cinnamon Girl.
Tambien me pregunto eso. He tratado de encontrarlo pero nada :(.
dalxmart el que?
None taken. I don't think Ann would have put up with him cheating on her either. End result? We lose Heart.
WRONG SON!!!!! 1st. Roger should have played with the thousand groupies in front of him and not nancy. 2nd. the band in this lineup could not be better.
Damn!
