Great guitar especially in connection with this amp, greetings from Berlin! One more thing, the cheaper epiphone tv yellow is not for serious guitarists. Don't believe the people who say, that the Epiphone TV Yellow from China also works.
I just sold one of the most beautiful 2012 standards that I have literally ever seen, and all of those had a premium plus AAA+ top it had an asymmetrical neck which was its biggest downfall, also I didn’t care for the burstbucker pros . The push pull pots were absolutely awesome, but I want to purchase a Les Paul special. As I already have a SG special with p90’s . But a Les Paul special with an ebony fretboard would be in my humble opinion the straight up coolest of the cool! Please do this Gibson and he’ll call it a special custom with the little headstock vernier whatever just make it with an ebony fretboard p90’s in tv yellow and vintage cherry .!!!
just returned my Epiphone model . After new strings , neck adjust , bridge , pickup level . The pickups cancel out or fizz out bridge . My humbuckers and single coils do not and if they crap out change them . Have a huge amp collection ..
I think P90's are probably great for gigging Guitarist's where the inherent noise of single core matters less. But in quiet environments, or for hobby Guitarist like me it's humbuckers everytime. i think you should have mentioned that the Tribute is available with Humbuckers.
grim reaper I’ve been playing single coils so long it would feel weird not to have the hum 😆 you just get used to rolling the volume down when not playing.
@@FelipMartiV yeah this is in the original collection. This is handwired,the tribute has a PCB board.This has a gloss finish, the tribute is a satin finish. Logo here in inlayed,the tribute is silk screened. Not saying one is better than the other.Just pointing out some differences off the top o my head.

Real sticky neck though, I went with the vintage cherry version with a smother slicker neck.
Thanks for doing heavier tones. I get so annoyed when everything is jazz and blues tones. There's a lot of Metal players out there for this guitar!

This is not a special tribute, it's a special "original".
Different neck materials (the tribute is made in maple wood) and pots, I think.
