  • There is a ton of terrain opening in the near future. Here are 3 great, easy to get to, blue runs on the canyon's side of PCMR. We hit up Kokopeli, Boomer, and Echo.

    Wonderful video! We were so intimidated by canyon side being mostly blues but we had the best family trip exploring the mountain with your help!

    I really appreciate the maps and labels you inserted in the video. Verrry convenient. Also, when it is eventually opened, be sure to do an exclusive video on the run, Devil's Friend. "A friend of the Devil is a friend on mine!" That run has to be one of the best mogul runs in all of Utah. On second thought, maybe don't include it as a video. It's nice that it is essentially a "private, local" run due to hardly anybody skiing it. Share the love, Local Boy and Girl!! I'm really enjoying your videos. By the way, how is the tele skiing coming?

    I love your videos. They are so informative and they really got me into Park City and skiing as a whole. Could you do a video on either the Orange Bubble Express mid station or more advanced terrain on Super Condor again?

    These videos are so helpful to know what to expect! Please do more on how to progress beginner-intermediate-advanced! I'm a local learning to ski for the first time. I'd love to know what to practice on my own between lessons and what to avoid.

    Can you film high meadow express? I want to see how wide is the run, and how many minutes does high meadow lift take you to the top. Because I am looking for a short lift( less time and express lift) to practice my tricks. Thank you so much

    Might be visiting in early December! Do you know if there will be slopes open? Will there be snow? I went skiing once last year at Breckenridge now I’m addicted to skiing but live in Florida!

      Hey David! Sounds like you got the bug 🤙There will definitely be some runs open in December. It varies how much will be open but there is always some fun stuff in early December.

    What’s the conditions of the runs? How icy? I’m scheduled to ski PC next week but concerned about lack of snow I see on the reports. Love to hear conditions from you. Thanks

      Same here! Not much terrain is open either :(

    • @LocalBoy
      @LocalBoy  Před 3 lety

      If you are concerned about runs being icy try hitting the runs up in the morning before they get skied out. It is definitely a lighter snow year than usual. But they are doing a great job on opening up terrain as soon as they can. We had a bit of snow a few days ago with some more on the way. It is not perfect up there right now but still tons of fun.

    Maybe so some easy off piste runs, for example I know to the right of kokopelli is a good trench type thing that is fun. Also off McKonkeys lift, if you go on Georgiana, there is a thing called powder monkey. Things like that are fun for me.

    • @austincofer703

      @@austincofer703 Those are great ideas. I actually filmed the Tunel of Fun (off the right of Kokopelli)and was going to put it in this video but my SIM card got full and did not finish it. As soon as some more off-piste runs open up I want to upload some more double blue/black runs.

    It would be much more clear if you could show the runs on the trail map by highlight the trails
