    Oh yeah buddy!! Glad I got me some baby shampoo the other day! A few dog spots to take care of in the back yard!

  • @andyslawncareandoutdooradv

    Great info Jeremy! I really don't deal with dog spots as I have 2 cats but the info is great for me to know if a strangers dog does pee on my lawn and it does burn it in that small spot

    Hi J, great video, thank you for making this vid! I have usually just let mine dog urine areas grow out. The plug is a great idea, I really like that thought. Dog poop on the other hand, that is what bothers me the most. For years my old neighbors dog would poop on my lawn in the same area. I put black pepper in that area, and it no longer pooped on my lawn. Again thank you for your great content!

      Solid method, nothing that hurt the dog or the lawn, but deterred it from doing to! Solid!
      As soon as it’s flushed you can just hid the issue in a place that’s good but not seen for a quick grow out there.

    I do a lot of plugging. In the end I end up having to spend a day seeding those spots in the fall. I’ll have to try the baby shampoo this season. Thanks Jeremy.

    This video was super helpful because my puppy is still young and does not know which grasses are fine to pee ( We are still at the " outside is fun stage")
    I do have a question though, would this work if I use unscented Dr. Bronner's soap?
    He already has tummy issues and I heard that the baby shampoo triggers it.
    Thank you!!

    • @TheGreenerLawn
      @TheGreenerLawn  Před 2 měsíci

      If you see them do it and you can get to it relatively quickly it will disperse it and flush the urea and it will not take much. But if you don’t seem them and you spray it every where every week or so, it will def slow the issues down / stop them.

    When I use my proplugger i always put dirt in the spot where I took the "good" plug. I never put the "bad" plug back in the ground.

    • @TheGreenerLawn
      @TheGreenerLawn  Před 2 lety

      If you flush it, no reason not to. It’s just like if you let it work it’s self out naturally, it doesn’t hurt a thing and the soil biology will be rebounded with the “good place” to recover quicker.
      But your call 💯, just make sure you match nutrients for the soil you replace it with (maybe from on site).

    • @TheGreenerLawn
      @TheGreenerLawn  Před měsícem

      @@tanyacaruana7917 No, you don’t havE to use baby shampoo. But here is why you should consider it:
      - baby shampoo opens up the soil and allows more water to enter and get deeper quicker.
      - it’s a surfactant so it helps move mediums through soil easily and quicker
      - you use way less water and the turn around time is 1/2 weeks max vs 3-8 depending on concentration and amount.
      But short answer is yes you can fluSh with water, use it only if you would like to.
