I love how Drew let her guests talk without interrupting them, unlike other hosts.
Amen...
True💚
She has manners ... 🙏👀
These days they have no class it's true.
Yess!!! Oprah, one of the biggest hosts is one that interrupts her guest in every show!!!
Drew has the way of creating a safe space where guests share more and differently from any other talk show.
No she’s just another Hollywood propagandist...stop worshiping these people.
‘Safe space’. Ugh. That very phrase turns my stomach.
@@Rosie82333 they worship celebs and politicians
It’s kinda like thinking the stripper really likes you
Wow, Drew is all grown up, she has to be in her 40's or early 50's. Yes, she's better than most of the late night talk show host's, I can't stand most of them.
Yeah, Drew had it so tough going from a child actress that could barely talk to a major star, thanks to her parents pushing her, because of her cute face.
@@emmartin4433 stop being so triggered, you know they meant that these people feel comfortable talking
Salma came into the scene and gave the community (Mexicans/Latinos) representation on a level we had not seen before. She didn’t play the “typical” roles for a latina. She is a brilliant actress, and we owe her so much. Viva Salma!
and Lebanese
And she told a young black actress to stop complaining and wait her turn.

I love that Drew and Selma didn’t take other people’s ignorance personally and just realized that THOSE people suck, not everyone.
I love that too.

She is beautiful 🤩
I haven't done Salma's hair but i have done Drew's hair she ia so much fun. And l've actually gone to events with her she is amazing.

That's cool. She seem like a sweet person.

Salma is a certified smoke show. Amazing person. She is an icon.
That is a beautiful phrase. "Certified smoke show." 🥰
First time I read such a phrase “certified smoke show”. Not sure the meaning but it sounds cool 😆
So true I love that 🥰🥰🥰

Yes .... 👑
I think Drew found her calling. She's so real and natural like a true conversation in her living room. She lets people talk and not ask uncomfortable questions. The Best revenge is success.
i genuninly think Drew is an emptath, this is nothing for her. her calling
@@elmstreet2036 agreed
It's pathetic but whatever
What ever she does, Drew does it very well, she's a great actress above everything else.
More than an interview, this ended up being like a motivational speech to not only women, but everybody that has faced rejection at some point in their live. Thank you so much Salma and Drew for your words and kindness 🙏
I came here at 16 so my accent is clearly there when I speak English and even though is getting better I still have and probably forever will, at the beginning I was so shy to speak English because I felt people would make fun of me but after listening to salma Hayek, Sofia Vergara and penelope Cruz I’ve learned to embrace my accent because it makes me be who I am as as well as also remember where I came from and why I’m here in this wonderful country ❤️
I love my aunts accents! Amor

She nailed it! Only the worst, horrible, STUPID people seem to get to be the boss. It's so unfair.

Karma definitely is real in my opinion. I always just let things be because I know that even if it doesn't happen tomorrow, next week or even 6 months from now, Karma will do what it needs to in time. But, like I said, just my opinion.

These women remained beautiful inside and out.
I love how Drew celebrates female empowerment anyway she can.

Drew Barrymore is such a beautiful soul.
Frida was the most amazing movie about a creative and beautiful woman. Salma is all of that and should have won the Oscar that year. She is inspiring.
THISS!!!!
Interesting fact about Oscar night for Salma she brought her dad and they didn't have an extra seat so they placed her in back. Yet Nicole Kidman brought her family and they say front row. Nicole found out and was outraged

Drew, you should make Salma Hayek an official Charlie's Angel 💞 She deserves to be on your team! You guys should definitely make another movie, or just make a movie with Salma Hayek. Bring the depth back!
Salma would make a great villain for one!
THIS!!!!!!!!!
I think salma was in line back then as a Charlie's angel along with Zeta Jones but the role went to Lucy Liu... does anybody remembers that? Correct me if I'm wrong but I somewhat remember...
Apparently Salma Hayek was under strong consideration for the role of Alex Munday in Charlie's Angels (2000). Along with Uma Thurman, Catherine-Zeta Jones, Angelina Jolie, and several other actresses were considered for Alex Munday.
Charlie's grandmas
I remember seeing Salma for the first time in the Mexican telenovela Teresa as a child and she was so amazing! I’m deeply saddened to learn that she was treated in such a way by Hollywood when she is beloved by the Latino community. I’m so glad she’s such an icon today.
I think Rubi was the remake. Salma was in Teresa. She was great

Learning about the disturbing situations that Doña Salma Hayek went through at the beginning of her acting journey made my blood boil. I am beyond proud to be Mexican it's a tremendously vital part of who I am; now I have learned to accept my adoptive country as years passed it has shown me the two sides of the american coin and all it's miniscule sides that makes the United States well the United States. Being a proud Mexican-American woman in today's world is not easy to say but I aspire to say it with ease in years to come. I am so glad to be alive to witness these two magnificent women have such important dialogues about topics that need to be heard and learned from.
As another Mexican American woman who aspires to have a career in the film industry, I completely agree with you!
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
🙏🙏🙏
👍🏻
Is she considered Doña??
If THE Salma faced racism in the great US of A, imagine what regular, poor, non English speaking immigrant faces?
I’m confused as to how this is labeled “racism” ppl were being “xenophobic” towards Salma because of the way she SPEAKS, NOT discriminating her because of race,
Many karens
You sound like a self hating Latino

Salma, one of the few real humans in Hollywood. There is not an ounce of fakeness in her.
Maybe because she lives in London 🤷🏻♀️

This conversation was heartwarming and full of love and respect. Loved it
Drew’s intro for Salma though, she’s a wordsmith gracious host and a wonderful spiritual being ✌🏼💜
Salma Hayek is the pride of Latin America, unfortunately many people in Mexico were awful to her when she got the Oscar nomination back in the early noughties. Salma has worked hard, is talented, smart, and gorgeous. We love you, Salma!! And Drew, we love you, too!!!
Drew has great chemistry with each and every person that she has on her show💗.
I love Salma, her personality, outlook, humor, intelligence. Always gives me a smile after an interview.
salma hayek ages REALLY well
She doesn’t look like herself, and I love her, but she doesn’t look herself. Too much of whatever...why why
It is called filler
I was reading that she has been meditating since she was in her 30s and she credits that to how she has aged

Drew to me has always been like a combination of Meg Ryan and Angelina Jolie - she was and is great at seamlessly going from “good girl” to “bad girl.” She can do Poison Ivy AND The Wedding Singer or somewhere in between, 50 First Dates. That’s some serious versatility.

Excellent interview pairing!
Why is Selma allowed to talk about Racism when her country 🇲🇽 Mexico has been practicing Segregation against their Black Mexican citizens up until 2015?? The country of Mexico REFUSED to give Black Mexicans citizen rights, didn’t register them as citizens and were left on their own to find medical attention. Up until 2015. Why doesn’t Selma talk about Racism in her country???? Black Mexicans still live in segregated neighborhoods. It’s best not to act like a victim of racism when your own country is racist. Hope Young Mexicans learn their history and not be hypocritical like Selma.
