I saw her sing this when she was 14 at Montgomery College. I was 12. She was my preacher's kid. What a blessing. It was more open, less stylized. And so beautiful. She was wearing a pale pink baby doll dress and ruffled bloomers. And it was done as the duet that is in the play, rather than this solo performance.
I wish I could see it again.
