    would love to see more being developed/updated. especially in the saturation side of things and on the SL desks/studio one. something like a firmware update to fully change the order of gate, comp, eq and limiter to replace sections with maybe a pre emulation in the limiter slot that i dont think many use.

    Love Studio One. Been an avid user and promoter of the product since Studio One version two a while back when I departed my relationship with Pro Tools. I must say, as a former airline pilot, I thought that career required so much understanding and absorption of information. This is like, in a different way of course, about as much. maybe even more. Amazing product. Love the heck out of it. I similar to flying, learn something new at every session.

    S1+ is worth the money to me. Access to upgrades at no extra charge and get a lot of plugins beyond just Pro. The vocals you previewed with the 8 tracks is phenomenal. Thanks Joe

    Dear Joe, could you answer this question for me please? Because Gregor did not.
    The Fat Channel XT key filter, is it a high-pass or a band-pass filter? The studio one manual says high-pass but my analyser plugins show a bell curve, not a high-pass... Quite different from applying the high-pass key filter in the stock compressor. What's the deal with that?

    Please add the option to create midi, to be able to work with general midi, this is necessary for those of us who work creating sequences for pianos and the pianos can detect the sounds that we assign, it is the only thing that studio one needs, I am forced to work on cakewalk to be able to do that work and I really don't like it, please I ask you to add this function.

    There we go again with the myth of the harmonic distortion. Nothing will sound like the real hardware, so grab the one you have and learn to mix well instead of buy this marketing hoax like tmt, harmonic dist, noise. They were residual effects from the old age, that s why engineers from old times wanted to avoid them. This ones are really clever cause they avoid aliasing.

    • @arrivalsband9201
      @arrivalsband9201 Před 8 měsíci +1

      And then you get UAD`s 1176 compressors and Pultec emulation EQ, start analysing what they do and realize that what you just wrote is not true. The only thing that is true is the fact that no two exact same piece of hardware sounds exactly the same when the age and plugins always do. Ask Andrew Scheps if a plugin can emulate hardware processors.

    • @earledaniels4539
      @earledaniels4539 Před 8 měsíci +1

      If you want 1176 and LA2A hardware emulations you have to use 3rd party plugins. I agree that Studio One equivalents are fairly clean.
