I paper traded 0dte ironflys with moderate susceess. But when they go bad, it happens fast. I didn't manage a few and went from max loss to max profit. Know your risk tolerance before entering.
Can you do a study on 0DTE iron condors? I've been trying them out this year on spx. Up for the year
I've been having more success selling at the money verticals lately. The vix is low but heading higher!
This does not make sense in the $ terms. A 30 wide IBF will have more credit & P25 $ value will be higher compare to a ATM 20 point wide IBF. So if they are at almost similar POP, 30-point IBF will yield higher. However, having higher max loss to P25 ratio means losses are also big and cut down on profit. Unless we see PnL it is hard to say is 20-point is better based on only these 2 data points. Comments from @TestyTrade?
Today I bought two butterflies with the short leg at the expected move up and down, 30 wide legs. With CPI tomorrow morning pre market, we should see a move at open. I should get over night theta and by mid morning, be able to close the trade outside the tent. We’ll see.

Interesting. When you say a 20$ wing do you refer to one of the two sides of the butterfly or a 40 wide span ?
Guys what about two otm butterflies? Aiming for a larger move risking 1/9 for example
