What does winning mean in this case? Evey time you roll, your trading losing that trade for a chance to win the next. So do you mean making at least one penny over the average of all the losing roles in with the one you actually do win?

Win rate is high but seems like one loser would wipe out a week of gains

The leverage is the reason they are riskier. Are there certaim stocks that could potentially be riskier at some point than a certain stock. Sure. But 999/1000 the option is mich riskier. Its pretty obvious.

Unfair comparison, you can allocate 100% of your capital to a spot index position but only a fraction of it to a short strangle.

When I remember I had options enabled on my account, I went all in and the damn calls exploded. 638% gain on extremely risky stuff. Extremely out of the money long calls. Did I sell? Nope. Then it had a huge down move and I was down 50%. Revenge traded and made almost all back, didn't sell and down 50% again. After doing that twice? Never again. The pattern day trader rule makes me want to blow my brains out and I want to do this SUCCESSFULLY everyday. I'm tired of gambling. Made my original amount back, and I refuse to YOLO. Not worth the risk. Plus? Why would I want to get rich overnight and not actually work for it? Where's the fun in that?

NASDAQ’s volatility directly correlates with the number of assets in it. That’s it. The SP100 has similar volatility. It’s math. 🤷‍♂️

Just because a company drops out of the "top 10" by market cap in the S & P doesn''t mean that the price has fallen. The possibility that other companies came along and grew much faster is very real, consider Nvidia as an example in the recent past.
