As a Michigan fan, i have the utmost respect for Loyola. Y'all weren't even supposed to get outta the second round and y'all made it to the final four. There's nothing to be sad about, it was one of the best Cinderella runs I've ever seen.

This was the best March madness. What a great game. What a great run Loyola had. I’m a Michigan fan and even though we lost in the championship, it was so fun watching them.

Loyola Chicago had a great run and continued it for most of the game against Michigan but appeared to run out of gas somewhere around the middle of the 2nd half. The Wolverines were just too much basketball team for the Ramblers to handle but how 'bout their Freshman center Cameron Krutwig? Can't believe he's just an 18 year old kid! He gave Moritz Wagner a run for his money! Good show!
Loyola Chicago and other "underdog" programs are now on the map - tv and conference revenues make a difference to programs.Exposure and future recruiting will be affected by all of the upsets. Best March madness in years!

Anyone else watching old march madness highlights because corona ruined it this year?
I was lovin every bit of Loyola’s run, can honestly say this years ncaa tournament was very exciting and wasn’t predictable at all
Reminded me a lot of the Butler/UConn title game in 2011. Butler had the lead after the first 20 minutes, but then couldn't throw it in the ocean the last 20. Loyola lost as much as Michigan won. Too bad...I would've rather seen them in the title game since Nova was gonna boatrace whoever made it.
For Villanova, we have a top 5 3 point defense. and their biggest advantage for most teams is their stretch 5 Spellman, which Wagner should negate. Simpson and MAAR and Matthews are elite on ball defenders and can switch on their guards with ease. Keeping Piascall (#4) off the boards will be huge. Look for Livers to have his shining moment, because he has a similar body and athleticism

I am a Loyola-Chicago alum. When I was in school back in the early 2000's it would have been a victory in and of itself to be on the same floor as the Michigan Wolverines. I cannot believe my basketball team was actually competitive against them 16 years later!
Amazing run from Loyola, they played their hearts out this tournament and earned their Final Four spot. GG.

In retrospect, if Michigan would’ve faced Kansas, they probably would’ve made it more competitive or they may have won the tournament.

It Was A Run By The Loyola University Chicago Ramblers Basketball Team In The 2018 NCAA Tournament. Go To The Final Four For The 1st Time Since 1963. Michigan Wolverines Basketball Team Made A Good Run In This 2018 NCAA Tournament & Play For A National Championship Game Against The Villanova Wildcats Basketball Team & Lose To Them. Great Season For Both Of Them Anyways.
After watching Loyolas playing in the tournament, there's no way they are 11 seed. It wasn't fluke with temporary hot streak from 3 pointers like other Cinderella's. They are as legit as it gets.
Just 1 more win wolverine nation all of our support has helped our wolverines/let's rev it up to all-time high for this game because we have the best fan base ever witnessed in sports

They had a rough start. They needed to get some players in off the bench, which they finally did. They started playing good defense and forced lots of turnovers. And they started driving the paint instead off shooting up prayers from the outside
