If not for this song, REO wouldn't have made the charts until 1978. Most people forget that Gary charted REO with this song in 1973. Very talented young man, lightning fast fingers, wonderful writing ability. He rode the storm out for a long time and thank God there was Gary because for many years REO was a real rock band. And it was truly magic while it lasted. Thanks G for making it so memorable for so many of us. God speed.
Gary is the most under rated guitar player in music history. Sure wish this line up of REO would get back together and come out with a good ROCK album. Great rock like this, Golden Country, Keep Pushin, ect.
I saw them on this tour and they were as good as you can see. Notice how well Kevin and Gary work together here. Also looks very happy in many of these videos.
I always thought KC made REO what they became. Gary's talent speaks for itself. The whole band working together made them one of Rock's greatest ever. It wasn't just Gary. I know that may be blasphemy to some on these REO vlogs.

Watched the whole concert on here. Loved it. So cool to see them playing to a smaller German crowd, and rocking so hard. 70's REO is just the best.

why did Kevin leave the band?
Kevin left after Ridin' The Storm Out was recorded...put Mike pic over Kevin and redid vocals
