Drop re-loading isn’t “cheating” but it can’t be done by the majority of players (those on console). At least not as quickly as it’s done on PC. So I don’t do it because it FEELS cheaty, but I don’t think anyone really has a problem with others playing the game however they want

I dont see drop reloading as cheating really because it is a skill in its own to do quickly just because people that play on controller cant do something doesnt make it cheating per say because there are thing controller can do that MnK cant do and vise versa.
edit: Just to add to that what I determine as cheating is doing outside the game which isnt in the game itself that negatively impacts the people you are playing with to make the game easier for yourself and or others without their knowledge of it happening... like spawning in a weapon and not informing someone of doing said thing
Cheating in videogames is doing stuff that isn’t achievable through gameplay. Be it through commands or 3rd party stuff. Usually done to get unfair advantages. But not always bad. For example read only farming is technically cheating but it adds to the experience. Drop reloading is an exploit. It uses intended mechanics for unintended purposes. And because it gives you advantages you normally shouldn’t have it can feel cheaty.
In my Opinion you can cheat as much as you like as long as you’re transparent about it and it doesn’t affect others negatively. It’s very subjective for everyone what is ok and what isn’t. And it depends on the kind of content. In a speedrun you‘ll expect all kinds of skips and glitches and exploits. In a playthrough maybe not as much. In build videos it’s totally normal to have cheated (but possible) gear.
@@fabianschultz Cheating isnt limited to programs or altered files to achieve something in a game you normally wouldnt be able to do otherwise such as purposefully abusing a glitch or unintended mechanic in a game for instance in WZ1 being able to clip under the map at stadium it in itself is a form of cheating but isnt in forced as cheating in the sense of using 3rd party software or altered game files but as exploiting which is a variation of cheating so that people can differentiate between levels of cheat being used
Yeah that’s cheating in a broad/competition sense. But on a technical level it isn’t. Out of bounds often are either glitches or just reachable through normal means because of missing collision or just holes in the terrain.
That doesn’t make it ok tho.
Just like most of the „hacks“ out there aren’t hacks but mods and or 3rd party tools

I've found my balance
I'm in love with this playthrough right now!! Axton is such an underrated character, and the same can be said for the assault rifles in the game. This run feels both insightful, fun and completable (sorry Dahl Maya but you sucked). I'm just craving to see you destroying everything with the Peak Opener

I'd say drop reloading is canon and that what's happening is your character is throwing a mag into the gun midair, performing the true Tactical Reload.

Honestly, Axton is my favorite character to play and some of my favorite weapons in the game are assault rifles, so it's just a very good combination.

Axton was my first Bl2 character I've ever played and maxed.
I never thought about it but yeah that’s smart to just spend basically the first day grinding so you are able to grind out “real” gameplay for the next few. Joltz always has the 5head plays
