dude honestly this just makes me more excited to see you post kiowa videos when that comes out!
Reading the manual makes it sound way harder to understand than it is. Thank you for taking the time and explain the machine bit by bit. Much appreciated!
I love the official Casmo wipe at 5:06
Catching a Casmo vid 13 seconds after it's posted is a new one on me :D
The "Transformers" transition made me audibly snort my coffee. So glad to see when a new Casmo video drops!
Thank you for the video, very informative! If I'm not mistaken, it should also be possible to explicitly assign specific priority fire zone to our own Apache with OWN button at the bottom right (same way as it was assigned and displayed for your wingman G-3 for PF2)
There are a number of ways to assign it to yourself, and that’s one.
Thanks. Best dcs Apache tuber 👍
Pls more on tactics. The dcs ai eats a heli in no time even the rifle dude
Thanks mate
Hey man, thanks for all your videos!
Thanks for watching them
Sweet info Dude 🔥🤘🏻😤🤘🏻🔥
Thanks for posting these videos!
Cool tutorial as always, and dope transition!
HOLY CRAP THE TRANSFORMERS CUT
Looking fwd to see you and your mates flying a coop mission using these abilities to bang bad guys. Thx for the video
For me, the AH-64 is the A-10C of helicopters. You can destroy many units on the ground if you know how to fly it. It is the strongest helicopter in the DCS.
Thank you :) your expertise is highly appreciated.
Recommend video be renamed to : BAM... BAM... BAM BAM BAM
This is a freaking awesome system :D thx for the explanation on it!
Thank you
Thanks a lot for the explanation... very well. 👍 cya around Nighthunter
Excellent
Lol that Transformers transition haha
I came here to BAM... I stayed for the Transformers cutscene music. 🤣
As usually great!!🚁
Good stuff dad
Nice video! Are these things you would do in real life in the cockpit, or is it something that would be setup ahead of time and then uploaded to the helicopter for you to verify during pre-flight?
I'm looking forward to ED's advances with the Mission Editor and the data cartridges for the game. It would be really nice to be able to do a little more advanced mapping in the Mission Editor where it's a bit easier to manage for some of the planes and helicopters.
You can do it both ways.
@@CasmoTV Thanks, Casmo! Out of curiosity, for stuff like the power lines and those details on the displays that seem to be...I guess more map oriented than mission oriented, would that be something the pilots would normally add to their maps and brief, or just something that the people who configure the missions for the pilots would add to the flight's maps leaving the crews to mark any mission stuff they wanted at their own discretion?
Honestly, an entire video on whatever could be shared about the planning and people involved for missions would be pretty cool. It's easy to forget how many people are part of a successful mission when you only ever fly desk sims, because you're usually in charge of so many things from selecting weapons to fuel to whatever else.
Who's this Jake fellow? From State Farm?
I don't see myself using such feature in combat mission, vs radio communications.
Maybe for missions where radio silence must be maintained, but that's very specific.
Why
If you have a FCR and your wing man doesn't and you assign them to PF2, when you scan and send over targets will their NTS and primary targets be selected from their PF zone?
I have a video coming that might answer this question For you.
Quick question Casmo. If you are the wingman and you receive radar targets from your leader, will the target slowly fade over time as they become "old?"
I BELIEVE so but it’s been a while since I’ve been on the receiving end. I’m still working through things and a future video should clear those things up as I get some people to help record some more videos
@@CasmoTV Thank you!
Can you use the same functionality to setup BPs?
I mean you can just draw a box and send it to use it for that sure.
Should have given these instead of F-16.
? F-16 is kewl
There's absolutely no way my squad mates are going to have the patience or need to try this
Need a new squad.
It's a fine balance, I want nothing to do with milsim. I do things by the book at work flying, when I'm home, I want to fly with people that will laugh if I shoot down the aerial tanker, not have a screaming hissy fit if I take off from a taxi way.
@@billh308Maybe DCS is not for you then. In my opinion, DCS is more of a cockpit simulator rather than a game. If you want to go blow stuff up and have fun without worrying about systems too much, maybe you should try War Thunder.
Maximize Lethakity in DCS?
Easy remove all Apaches and Ka-50s and place AI Mi-24s instead. They spot everything and have pinpoint accuracy with a stupid SACLOS targeting system... this is the ED way.
Aight.
Hey casmo ,it's might be useful during asymetric conflict like Iraqi.. Afghanistan..but not during real conflict on huge scale battle environment where any manpads..longue..medium and short range anti air missiles Can shoot your Apache down same if any enemy jet or choppers fly in the same area than you
Oh ok. I never did no study of how war was so thanks for letting me know.
@@CasmoTV he meant real conflict like dcs
That is why the Americans spend an enormous amount of money on defense. Vipers and Hornets are SEAD capable, and can also provide Air Superiority. That’s basically the American doctrine for war. Control the skies and blow up the ground forces 😂
Same problem occurs for nearly every weapon system when you don't use it properly or without the proper support.
Is he dense?
