If you equip a single item from the briar set, you can get that final hit on undead just by walking over them
thank you
You don't have to roll, just walk over them?
Nooooo, you can't tell them that!! It'll make holy damage even more useless 😂
fun fact. fall damage is actually hyper specific which makes it seem random. so to start taking damage you need to fall 16m. if you fall 15.9, you take 0. and to die from falling you need to fall 20m. falling 19.9 m will do 50% damage. which with the tiny gap between no damage and death, plus just below death only bringing you to 50%, it makes you feel confident that you can fall further than you actually can. would really suggest just using rainbow stones to check falls
Yeah, it's quite weird how they set up that which makes many ppl think it's quite random or inconsistent, I had hoped this time they added stats/gear/magic/great runes that actually increase the max non-lethal fall damage allowing us to fall from greater heights without dying (Radahan's rune would have been ideal for that since his theme/lore/weapons are so focused on gravity magic).
But all the stuff here does is increase the fall distance at which we don't take damage beyond 16m, but never beyond 20m.
Add to that all the effects that reduce the damage from damaging falls, but have no effect on the lethal drop limit. A high level Dex build can fall 19.99m and just lose a couple points of stamina, but 20m will still pancake them.
Instead of using rainbow stones, you can use a heavy attack that sends you forward. It's way easier and quicker to do
@@sirianrockerou can’t do it on rocky edges
for lattena, i think the reason why she attacked the wolf is because there is no more enemies left, but if there is, she will ride the wolf and shoot other targets. nice vid man, your map tip is so good, i didnt know bout that
SOMEONE PLS TELL ME SHE CAN RIDE THE RADAGON RED WOLF!!!
This. Ive shown it (the interaction) off on stream the past few days when the enemies are alive and they attack the enemies instead of each other
@@leeshinghinbrian she cant. Not even the non boss ones outside of Raya Lucaria.
Does using the friend stick prevent them from fighting?
what about the beast torch
It's important to note, not every instance of Holy damage prevents skeletons from reviving. Usually only spells, skills and tools that SPECIFICALLY mention preventing the dead from rising again can do that. Litany of Proper Death, Holy Water Pots, Order's Blade, stuff like that. A weapon that just deals Holy damage or spells that don't point out banishing the dead, like Discus of Light, don't have this special effect. Skellies are still vulnerable to Holy damage regardless, but you'll still have to finish them off the old fashioned way if you aren't using something that specifically mentions Those That Live in Death.
I have the halberd from the tree sentinel at the start of the game which has wicked holy damage and it also doesn't kill the skeletons completely. I was wondering what the hell? pun intended.
OTOH, Heal type spells are very efficient against revenants - in particular, heal over time spells act like a very strong poison, revenants dying within like ten seconds.
The Golden Order GS also works for some reason. Not even using the Ash of war
Also The Golden Arrow, if shot from the Erdtree bow (didn't test but I'd assume Greatbow and arrow would work) but Haligbone arrows or the Golden arrow shot from a different bow DONT work. I'd like to know the specifics as to why these interactions work like this.
Also to all the FAITHLESS heathens out there all you need to get the true kill on a skelly is to have the above mentioned items o get the kill, so you can lower their health conventionally, then toss a Holy/Sacred water pot to finish him.
@@leveluppupgaming7207 Although it does kill them for good when you use the Sacred Order ash of war that’s equipped with it..
@@kris_wk ah probably. I've only ever used it while on torrent for its wind up attack, so never actually used its ash of war before.
Pro tip: 5:49 u can use margot's shackle form here to interacting with the trap, and voila u spawned the 3rd chariot and they will collide. Have fun exploring without worry lads.
was just about to comment this
And it remove invisible Walls nearby
@@macginsley and also those walls far away
Wait a minute... Are you saying that where he's standing in the video at 5:49 (That Alcove he ran into) You can activate Margot's Shackle all the way from there??
@@Mike_TNVol4Life yup. I wasn’t sure where to use shackle. Wasn’t sure if it was even the right hero’s grave so I was just using it once in awhile until I hit that alcove. It took about 10 secs. I was waiting for an opening and the next thing I know I was getting the gear and the chariots blew up.
For the weather part, it doesn't actually alter your damage, it alters your resistances. If its raining and you take all your gear off so you have no protection, you'll still have 20.0 fire resist and -20.0 lightning resist
and by "your" he means everyone's. :p
Technically true but doing lightning damage against an enemy with low lightning resistance due to rain is still doing more damage, so both are correct
I think the wolf-mounting ash needs to be a secret enhancement. Bring that ash to that specific wolf, and the wolf gets absorbed by the ash to upgrade and mobilize it. Have it count as a secret +1. If you take it to +10 before you do it, or kill that wolf, it won’t work. Would love for that to be a system for the ashes, enhancing and evolving them with some new element.
People have said something similar about how reuniting the Jellyfish sisters should result in summoning the pair of them when used.
There’s a red wolf outside the academy right side in the graveyard have you guys tried it there?
@@robertjagiel8222 yeah it doesnt work
na
Alternative - make it so it and the wolf summons are the only pair that can be summoned at the same time
5:55 in this part if you have the items that you bought from patches, the chacless for margot.
you can active that item and activate the switch that will kill the chratiots~
this is due to the fact that margot's chains is an aoe ability that do 0 damage, but it still regarded as a hit to any interactable object~ so it will active any switch and it will also reveal any invisible wall in an area~
so it a very useful item
You can use crystal darts to control golems, imps and watchdogs. For all those struggling with the double watchdog fight, you're welcome.
double watchdogs were easy endgame watchdogs suckkk
😳🫡🫠
I tried this yesterday and the imp didn't give a shit, although it was the only one around so maybe it needs other enemies nearby to activate. I thought it'd at least make it deaggro but no
Use Heal AOE Incantations when around Revenants, they get stunned and can get easily killed.
Boss knowledge
It also works on the smaller ones and does extreme damage
What 😳😳😳
Oh thanks for the great tip, i hate those things so much
@@EDubbz17 It's a tip the game actually mentions to you, very useful if you have a faith character of use any healing incantations.
Did you know you can heal as much as you want, anytime you want, without a flask or incant just by switching back and forth between equipping the *Olivinus Glintstone Crown & the Karolos Glintstone Crowns??* (And They're Right Beside Each Other so it's Fast & Easy to swap between them!!) HP goes up each time you equip one for the other, just keep switching them 'til you're HP's full. So you can keep your Crimson flasks for the Bosses
Nice!
Or just equip the Dew Talisman
You can keep turning the talisman on and off over and over for the same effect
actually great advice for someone PvPing against a passive gank
@@spectralparadisegaming7506 it takes so long tho
You can notice that if you roll in poison/rot swamps you start gaining poison/rot buildup even if not in swamp. However if you use simple soap you can get rid of this buildup.
Ha that's cool. I always wondered if there was a practical use for the soap in game. I thought it was like a joke item lol
@@ricardodarcangelo2437 also cleans off dirty armor lol
If your mimic uses the cursed blood pot on an enemy they regain health as well, finding that out helped me beat malekith 😎
I was about to lose my mind in Auriza Hero's Grave when I found the strategy to eliminate the chariots. I still haven't beaten the bosses, but knowing if I left and came back later I wouldn't have to deal with the chariots again probably saved me from actually rage quitting that dungeon.
They'll burn through your 100% shield FAST... unless you're a strength build with a GS. Even then, you can't completely rely on your shield. However, if you practice parrying, and come in with a medium shield with parry (or a buckler, of that's your preference. I suck at buckler parries, always have), they can be totally trivialized. And if you go on there early, and feel your struggling, you could always pull out a summon, THEN parry. Hope that helps
Is this the dual crucible knight dungeon? If so, worst designed boss fight in the game right alongside the Bell Bearing Hunter in Caelid. I beat the knights by circling for 30 minutes and spamming moonveil on the spear knight. Then mimic tear summon, after I killed the first knight, to help me with the last one.
@@alecsanchez9755 >moonveil
>mimic tear
bruh.... you are just bad at the game.
@@alecsanchez9755 Just the fact that you didn't manage to kill them before your Mimic Tear died (when you summoned it right away apparently) tells me that you were either horribly underleveld (or your mimic tear) or for whatever reason were bad at handling them. They are not especially tanky and have fairly weak attacks. I hope you meant 30 mins in total and not just for the winning attempt.
@@vault29a lol you spam blasphemous blade and think this game is “eazy”. Get a life kid
I was very pleasantly surprised when I discovered the full tree sentinel armor on my own, one of the best looking armor sets in the game atleast for heavy sets
The veterans amour as well as bernahls I think it's called the beast master and the banished knight amour look pretty good too but the beast master helm looks weird so wear something like the banished knight helm if you're going for looks
@@ethanlangdale402 I think this game has some of the most variety out of any souls game I've played and I'm all for it, here's to hoping they do a big DLC with a bunch more amazing armor and weapons

In the 2nd chariot dungeon (Tree sentinel armor set) you can actually just use Margot's Shackle to activate the pillar from quite a distance away.
Yep, just tried it. Didn't seem like anything happened so I continued on and after the damn basilisks the chariots just disintegrated and I got the goodies. Big time save, thanks.
One tip I find useful is being able to actually pause the game. 1. Press start 2. Go to equipment 3. Press the help option 3. Select “view explanation”. A submenu pops up but this pauses the game in the background. People may already know this but I’m putting it here just in case.
Including multilayer?
@@olahnzaft2311 haven’t tried it actually good question
edit: that was a pretty bland answer. I know it works in single player but I have yet to try it in multiplayer scenarios.
12:50 this is so useful! I was feeling so heavy and lazy to do my NG++ due to the boring collect of the medallions, thank you so much.
A fun tip about fall damage is that the rainbow stones that you can toss can be used to check if a fall is lethal. They will break if you toss them off a lethal fall distance so you can just toss one down if you are concerned and if it doesn't break just try to land on it and you will be fine.
Or just swing your sword at the ledge. If the fall is lethal it will prevent you from falling.
It doesn’t always work though I found out last night
@@BEMagic18 i mean as long as you land directly on top of your rock it should, but the difference between a lethal and a nonlethal fall could be an inch or so or where you threw your rock from as opposed to where you jumped from. I get what your saying though it might not be a 100% but I think the factors for that are in your control technically.
@@BEMagic18 The difference between being on foot, and being at the top of Torrent's jump is enough to move you from barely damaged to dead. (I've died a lot to that trying to parkour around)
@@muninrob I know all that, last night I was in a catacomb like area and I used the little stone and it was fine it wasn’t a long fall at all but I guess it was just a inaccessible area
So, I'm sure it's been mentioned already (heck, I mentioned it in a prior video), but you can almost completely skip most of the nonsense with the chariots in the Auriza Hero's Grave. You still have to get past the first one and make your way to where the 2 chariots are rolling. Before leaving the alcove and going onto the ramp, pull out and use Margit's Shackle. For some reason, it can reach and trigger the fire trap, raising it and letting you destroy the chariots without ever having to deal with them.
Aw, it's not nonsense. It's a really fun puzzle dungeon!
Rapier weapons also have a unique backstep move used by backstepping out of a charge attack, just like curved swords :)
The heavy rapiers too!
Taking out the Fringfolk Hero's Grave and the Aurzia Hero's Grave chariots was very helpful for exploration in them as well as getting some decent items
The chariots 😩😩 I can’t wait to do that tonight lol thank you!
Edit: also, the only time I haven’t had the holy damage work against undead in one hit is with Radagan’s Rings of Light, although I’m suspecting it doesn’t do holy damage if that’s the case.
Second edit: I killed the nights cavalry on the forbidden lands and if you kill it right as it spawns it’s horse, the horse remains and can take infinite damage (I assume until the sun comes up).
Getting to the concentrated snowfield is an incredibly useful bit of information. Thank you.
Great tips! Some I knew but a lot I did not. Very helpful!
10:22 this also works when you critically strike an enemy. Meaning they dont need a grab moveset to pull off these types of skips. You just need to break posture or parry.
was gunna say the critical fall has been here since ds2 lol how do ppl not know of it
Congratulations you have been selected among the shortlisted winner's for the ongoing ps5 giveaway What'sapp the number above ^^^^^^^^^^^^👆
Thanks for producing and posting these hidden secrets. One can also activate Margit or Mohg's Shackle in Auriza's Hero Grave when arriving at that first hallway after the Basilisks, to destroy the chariots. The Shackles also reveal illusory walls and activate or de-activate Flame Pillars. I did learn about the Cursed-Blood Pots early in my first playthrough. They are especially handy when battling multiple Crystallian enemies, enabling one to dispatch the Spear Thrusting Crystallian quickly, as they are the most troubling imo.
5:50 So, I figured this out by accident. Another way of somehow destroying ALL of the chariots in this dungeon all at once, is by using a fully charged Wrath of Gold. I was being chased by the imps and used it to try and deal damage to them and knock them away. Low and behold, when I did it, I heard multiple explosions as the chariots blew up.
Its nice all the little tips videos are now all in one place
13:50 This works for normal sized thrust swords as well. With I think is called the Ice Pick, you will swipe the sword while back stepping, but also shoot a projectile as it does so from heavy attacks without FP.
Very cool video. Love seeing these nuances. The Snowfield skip is crazy. Also killing those irritating chariots is something I’m definitely going to try!
I ended up using the cursed blood pot against Mohg because I noticed my summons just sort of stood around for most of the fight. The blood pot just sort of woke them up.
Actually useful tips. Great job and thanks!
Bro these are legitimately new things compared others that make these videos I had no idea with most of them , that first was surprising . Great job dude
I really like this video . You talked about some things that I haven’t heard before and they’re pretty cool. Also you sound like a unassuming guy who is having fun talking about it and not trying to toot your own horn. Humble. For people like me it matters. Thank you
Actually interesting and new to me! First video I've found with actually unknown things. Great video
The cool thing about holy damage, is that it even works on those skeletons where normally you have to kill the necromancer to get rid of them.
Very useful video, I love tips for the Hero caves
For the second set of chariots, where you were standing to watch the chariots get wrecked, you can stand there and use a shackle and it will trigger the pillar to move without the mess.
The blood stain works for takers cameo AND the FP Regen one as well!
That bloodstain one is hilarious. I like using takers cameo and the two hp/fp boost on crit talismans. You get tons of health back for crits and kills and have to use much less healing flasks when going through dungeons.
Thought this would be a bunch of tips i allready knew, but i bearly knew any of them even after 300 hr+ and a lot of them are really helpful! Thanks man :)
This is such a cool video. Jaw dropped at the Albinauric ladies mounting the enemy wolves. Thanks!
Great video bro liked your map explains 👍
Thank you. Very helpful.
Gotta say those "Shackles" Wide range AOE really help me a lot when exploring dungeon by triggering those damn Pillars and Illusory walls.
Ooh I don’t understand but I’d love to know more. Like the shackles you get to “trap” certain bosses during their fight?
@@lunarbound9975 yes the shackles have interactions with other things like triggering traps and exposing illusiory walls
@@lunarbound9975 It's because of the coding, they pulse a zero damage "hit" in a large radius that checks enemy id then traps the specific bosses. Because both the pillars and illusionary walls don't check for damage, just impact, it triggers them as well.
They screwed up the shackles, what a bummer.
@@getwave8041 It's not really a mistake, just a weird interaction
Wow very interesting thanks for all these tips
Awesome video!
Me: Oh, he's showing that you can fast travel without dragging the cursor, people still don't know this? Me 20 seconds later: YOU CAN CREATE A LIST OF FAVOURITE GRACE SITES?!?!
The grab trick is insane and I did not know about the map fav’s. I’m going to try the weapon and armour inventory as well, I like to have everything with me
Great info! I didn't know about being able to favorite grace sites, took me 60+ hours to figure out I could open the list of them and triangle then square transports you to round table. 😅
Great tip for using the map effectively :)
That grab move blew my mind! Good job man
Never seen many of these. Good vid 👌🏽
Thanks for the vid
Damn i learned a lot! Thanks! 👍
Interestingly enough the cipher pata fist and the coded sword holy weapons do not kill the undead skeletons without them reviving even though the weapons only do holy damage
I figured native holy damage from melee weapons doesn't count, even with a weapon that had Sacred Blade embedded into it you still had to use the Ash of War to make the weapon finish undead without revival.
So only arrows and pots will do final hits like that because I'm assuming you're spending a limited ammunition that can't get buffs like melee can.
You need to use specific holy weapons that mention being effective against those that love in death. The one exception is the golden order greatsword, it doesnt mention those thative in death but it still perma kills.
@@tarrabah3213 three weapons can kill Skeletons and other reviving enemies inherently, without the aid of buffs: Golden Epitaph, Golden Order Greatsword, and Inseparable Sword.
Yeah I thought my game was bugged or something when I made a faith character last week and tried out the coded sword on skeletons. I was like wtf have I been lied to?
7:26 you could just use the shackle item on the floor where he's standing and destroy the chariots before heading down. I always wondered what the imp fire pole was for though.
I liked and subscribed since I discover some stuff in your video man
Looooove that there were actually a couple things I was not aware of.
If your on PS4/5
And your trying do the chariot
I recommend you upload your data to online storage before trying kill the enemy
Then after you manage to kill it then upload again so if you fail to kill the chariot with either of the 3 pots you can just download your data to avoid having to do the whole annoying run and fighting
Great video
Y’all do great work!!! But .. the song at the end
I only knew one tip. Great Video!
You can also use quick step to get through the muck faster. As for the holy damage if you are using melee it has to be an incantation or using holy grease.
Thanks, was wondering why people say this when the first tree sentinels holy halberd still needs a finishing hit on em
Same for sacred enhancements.
Carian Knight’s Sword does that block attack thing too… I think it’s so cool how many different moves sets there are. For all the different weapons even.
The Flame cleanse me incantation is very useful for dealing with Scarlet rot, poison, and frostbite, you get it from a fire monk camp in Liurnia. Specifically I believe the one near the church of vows.
In the hero's tomb when you are on the side ledge of the ramp with the flower you can just use one of the shackles and that will destroy all chariots
Wow I didnt know about marking favorite graces. Nice.
Fun fact: O flame, grant me strength affects Beast incantations and pest threads damage output and increases it. My damage nears 2k per cast of pest threads.
Wow !!! I heard that was a great spell, but didn’t know it was THAT great ?! I wonder what you’ll get if you Jellyfish Shield plus have that Flame boost active … THEN cast the Threads ?! 😀
That's because the beast incantations and Pest Threads deal physical damage, and Flame, Grant Me Strength increases both physical and fire damage by 20%.
I mean it increases damage in general no?
@@TheRagnus oh I know, but not many people do so we have to share to help the community and pass on information, and not many people who run a fire build know they can also run beast spells and still rock the same damage output.
FGMS boosts all sources of physical and fire damage by 20%
Good 👍🏻 tips bro 😎
Damn some tips are amazing thanks mate
Thanks for all the tips. Can you tell me which armor you're wearing? I've been looking for "Jedi" armor to go with my blue, glowey swords and yours in this video is the closest I've seen yet. Thanks again for the vid!
Im sure I’m late on this, but the rap at the end is dope. I was watching some elden ring videos last night and was kinda dozing off and this started bumping at the end of a video and I popped up so fast, had to jump on some call of duty after that.
Your Elden Ring videos are like crack man, keep up the great videos!

Rapiers also have a heavy attack cancel backstep
You can also Backstep when charging a heavy of a thrust weapon by pressing the Roll button you still swing to
I really liked the stake of marika tip to get to the opposite side of the snow area that you would normally need with the secret medallion, this will save so much time and not have to deal with the Commander in the fort.
Yeah that commander is hard by anyone's standards
Took me at least a dozen tries. And then I died before I could find a grace so I had to do it again. The map isn't far away from where you land though.

This is amazing how many secrets this master piece game has. And i watched all video and almost forgot to breath,i am in NG4+ but i was surprised so many times now! Idk how the hell you revealed this ,but thanks for your effort.
The Carian Knight Sword has the same blocking heavy attack property as the Lazuli. Seems to be a Carian thing in general, if there was a heavier sword with better guard boost that did it that'd be pretty cool.
There is a Greatsword you get from the giant outside the caria manor boss room.
@@Falx415 Carian Troll Greatsword I believe or some other combination of those words lol. Idk if it has the same ability though. It might be a colossal sword idr
You can use quickstep to move through poison/rot, which is a much more common skill
in regards to fall damage it's not random at all, someone did a video on it and discovered some things about fall damage in this game, those being;
1. the lethal fall damage height is about 20m like other souls games BUT unlike other souls games the non-lethal fall damage where you actually take fall damage is set at about 15m, this explains a lot of the inconsistencies in the heights you die from
2. dexterity as a whole only reduces a percentage of total fall damage, fall damage being a total health percentile based damage, this also explains the inconsistencies with the fall damage variables
3. you dont take fall damage during an animation in which an enemy is damaging you, aka 'grabs', as you're *technically in i-frames when such happens, as a note it only seems to be conistent with certain types of 'full grabs' or animations in which your inputs are disregarded
Damn this actually has useful tips…solid work, my mans 👏🏽 My faves are the grace markers and the killing the damn chariots 😈
I found something new out on a daily basis with elden ring. I think I’m probably about 50-60% done with the game. I can’t wait to see what dlc we get for the game.
nice vid
In Auriza's Hero Grave, you can actually trigger the hidden chariot mechanism with Magrit's shackle, where you are at 5:51 in the video. It worked for me. Don't know if From fixed it, though.
moghs and margit´s shackle can activate and deactivate the fire statues from any distance, and reveal hidden walls
Okay that wolf trick right at the front of the video made me want to try it
Map tip was high IQ thanks man
Okay that health back on phantom deaths is pretty dope lol I never would have guessed that. I wonder if that works with the passive of blasphemous blade also
For the second dungeon you can actually activate the pillar that destroys the rolling blade things with a bow :) saves you having to make that dodgy jump super quickly :)
NG+3 and still learning new stuff. Just crashed some chariots! Thanks!
I have watched a lot of elden ring content and I definitely didn't know any of these thanks for sharing these will come in handy. I'm insanely only 250 hours in on my 1st play through I want to get and fight everything and I like to max level before beating it thanks again
The lazuli sword is a good early game option, just know the distance of the pebble is terrible, you're practically in melee range before you can get it to hit, on the other hand the follow up R2 thrust actually goes farther than the pebble, and it is very good, but overall after just finishing an entire playthrough with an intelligence melee build, you can find much better options, other than the moonveil, my favorite and a _must have_ is the claymans harpoon (spear) with the ice spear ash of war, the distance on that ash is crazy and deadly.
about the holy damage, I ran with ordovis' greatsword which had holy damage and it wouldn't prevent undead reviving. I don't know if a weapon that's been infused with holy will perform the same, or if weapons which deal pure holy damage will actually prevent the resurrection, but something to keep in mind that it seems not universal
I'm pretty sure it has to be either a buff or pure ig it just has to glow
Do know that for melee weapons that do holy, it wont perma kill skeletons unless it has a golden aura surrounding it
Yeah I was kinda annoyed about this until I figured it out. Even if a weapon does natural holy damage it won't necessarily outright kill skeletons unless explicitly stated.
@@EmperorProtects4848 Yeah, especially when the first Dark Souls you could 'simply' smack a Skeleton with a weapon that did any kind of holy damage, and it'd stay dead.
13:50 you can hold the heavy attack at the SAME TIME you HOLD dodge, that's so much easier

@@Shinzou bro what the hell
