We’ve been seeing my mom during this whole quarantine. My husband has had to work and I’ve had many appointments with my OB and I couldn’t bring anyone so my girls stayed with my mom. She’s been having a really hard time
staying cooped up and being all alone too so we’ve been so lucky to go over there and see her. Other than going to my OB’s office, We haven’t been anywhere either. We also stayed under the group ratio rules so I honestly wasn’t too concerned and everything’s been fine. I think you should be fine too. Mental health is super important in a time like this and my girls were having a REALLY hard time but being able to go to their “Mema’s” house has helped so much.
Exactly what I see. If there are underlying respiratory issues or current cancer chemo/rad patients, I wouldnt risk it. Especially if everyone is healthy and no colds etc. Etc. use Wisdom. But I'd visit if we know that we know we are well.

I love the house 🏡 it’s perfect. And we just bought a new house and should be moving in by the end of may! I am very excited. And you should be too. A new place to decorate and grow into with baby number 3 - you’re so blessed 😍🥰
We haven’t visited any of our kids grandparents since before the virus. We don’t want to risk anything so we are just holding off. It sucks but we’d rather keep everyone in our family healthy and safe.

Personally, I wouldn’t risk going in to see them, but I would 100% drive there!! I’d have the kids make little signs and cards and decorate their door! Ring the doorbell, and catch up while you stand in the driveway and they on their porch!! You will never forgive yourself if anything happened to them bc you visited!! ❤️ Congrats on the new house! It is so beautiful! Can’t wait to see you on this next journey!

I am being really extra about my son's birthday! Decorated the house in race car theme, special dinner for him, cupcakes, drive-by birthday party with family this weekend. Doing it all. They only turn this new age once, and I want it to be special.

It’s reassuring to see not everyone’s house is perfect at all times. Quarantine makes it all a little tougher, but I enjoy all this extra time with my family ❤️ I needed all this cleaning motivation today!! I would love to see a Video with organization tips. Last week I took my daughter to my mom's for the first time in weeks. We just played in her backyard and set up chairs 6ft. apart for the adults. We brought our own food to eat and had a lunch picnic! No hugs or going inside her house though.☹ But we had a really great time! If everyone had stayed inside for a few weeks I think it would be fine, but my husband still goes into the office so we still wanted to be very careful. I hope you find a way to visit them!❤
Yesenia Sisk totally agree, we need to be careful but we are human too. Now that the weather is nice we went for a short visit to some family members. No hugging or kissing and we kept our distance but had a drink together in the garden with a big table between us. X

YES!! If your families have been quarantined get your grandparents over to see you and your kids.
We’ve been doing “drive thru dates” with my mom and grandparents so my son can see the family and we sit in our trucks next to each other in the parking lot of the restaurant and eat dinner 1-2x a week
In my opinion, as a health care worker, I think it would be better to see your grandparents now rather than once restrictions are lifted some. The virus will still be here for a while but I think you are probably your safest right now.
I would love to see more decluttering and organizing videos. Maybe some of your process of deciding what to get rid of.
I need huge prayers. I just lost my job and have tons of bills. I need God to help us and make away to pay our bills

I think your idea of praying about the new house is great. If it’s meant to be, it will be. I hope it is. We built our dream home and are so glad we did. Now that I think about it, you and I were exactly in the same situation. I had my son, then daughter and got pregnant ( such a long awaited answered prayer) with our youngest daughter. We decided to build a home because at the time, (4 years ago) we couldn’t fine a 4 bedroom home that we liked. We are so so happy we went this route. It has been a dream. 🙏💕.

I agree with a lot of other people posting comments, go take your kids to see their grandparents and just keep some space. You never know how much longer grandparents will be around and you can keep a safe distance in the yard and the kids can still be around them. Wear masks if it makes you more comfortable. ❤
I love that you are choosing to "go big" for your kids birthday!! I love celebrating my kids birthday to see how much they have grown and to help them see that they are older each year! It means so much to me to make my kids feel so special in their day!!

We have gone to see our grandparents every evening. Joy boots our immune systems and thats what i had peace in doing. Of course we haven't been to stores or anything but we do go visit and its so refreshing to just love on our family. Everyone is healthy still also :)

Our state relaxed laws on group sizes today, so we are going to see my dad thursday. Neither of us are worried anyway, weve all been hiding away for almost 2 months now, so we know we are safe.

Don't give in on the temptation to see family and friends! This is where it's getting hard for all of us, but people are still dying and number of cases are increasing not decreasing. There was a spike after Easter because people bent the rules. Stay safe to ensure you can all enjoy that beautiful home together!!

I was feeling this way too. I decided to spend 1 day a week cleaning my ENTIRE house. Its hard, and exhausting but worth it!!! I spend the rest of the week do the necessities and playing with my kids. PLUS because I only clean once a week, I look forward to it too! During the week I only do dishes, vaccuum & laundry. ❤

Same! I feel so guilty about my need to clean and keep things organized all the time. I feel like I’m going to regret this as my babies get older. I just can’t think straight if things are a mess and in chaos. It’s definitely a struggle.

My question for you is how and where do you store all your seasonal decorations and party supplies and decorations? My struggle is finding the storage space for them and organizing it so that I can continue to pull them out for designated seasons. I think a video/ storage tour would be wonderful if you’re up to it.
I would 100% think it’s ok to go see them! I’m in the military, my husband is a cop, and my daughter goes to daycare. Almost nothing has changed for us because we are essential employees. Just because of my lifestyle, it kind of surprises me how strict people are quarantining. For the military, if we suspect someone is sick, they quarantine like you guys are only for 2 weeks. Then it’s back to normal. That’s great that you guys are being so cautious! But now that you know none of you are sick, I think it’d be ok 🙂

My kids still see there grandparents. They see them about once a week and will spend the night. They take 1 kid at a time, but that’s only because they fight. My daughter has been causing most of the fights. She is in 6th grade and my son is in 3rd. We all know where we have been and if there was any kind of slight risk we won’t even see each other.
Please DO NOT VISIT, You will never forgive yourself should someone get sick. Remind yourself this too shall pass. ❤

We have been seeing my mom. She’s quarantined alone and hasn’t seen anyone. My husband is an essential worker and I’m pregnant and high risk and I’m not allowed to bring my daughter to appointment. I just didn’t have any other choice but to bring her to my moms. As long as you’re cautious and both haven’t been exposed to other people it should be fine. Especially since you both have been quarantined for weeks.
I haven't seen my granddaughters since the beginning, only on phone, and once from a distance. The reason is because you might not be sick but you could be a carrier, of the virus that's why we don't risk it!! It is hard I miss them hugs for sure!!!!

Hey Bri! That house is so beautiful! So we just moved from the first house my husband and I bought, and it was the home I brought both of our babies home from the hospital. We did so many renovations to that home to make it our own. We learned how to be parents in that home- watched our babies take their first steps- heard their first words. We got to a point where we knew we could offer our babies more opportunities in a new home. The new house we were looking at was also a brand new construction. We would have a way bigger lot. We knew we’d benefit financially. It was very emotionally difficult making the decision to leave our old home. I just kept seeing all of the memories- me walking up and down the hallway in labor with my second baby- the countless get-together’s- decorating for holidays- etc. But I knew we could offer more to our babies in the functionality of the new house, and after a month of being settled in our new place, I can tell you that it’s so worth it. If you find somewhere that you know will make such a positive difference for your day-to-day, as a homemaker and sham, I promise you, it’s worth it. It takes some adjusting, and it will be emotional. But in the end, it does pay off. And it’s a binding experience for the family as well, nesting in a new place together and making the new house your HOME. I’m so happy for you, and I hope my experience offers some encouragement! Thinking about y’all and praying for y’all through this!

We've done a "safe distance" visit last weekend to my dad and his wife. We sat in the garden on a good distance from each other and kept the kids at a distance too. So no cuddles, but we could talk, be together and play things like I spy with the kids.
