- The National Anthem of the Soviet Union or the State Anthem of the USSR (or Hymn, Russian: Государственный гимн СССР, Gosudarstvenny Gimn SSSR) was introduced during World War II on March 15, 1944, replacing The Internationale as the official national anthem of the Soviet Union as well as the national anthem of the Russian SFSR. The lyrics were written by Sergey Mikhalkov (1913--2009) in collaboration with Gabriel El-Registan (1899--1945) and the music was composed by Alexander Alexandrov (1883--1946). It was believed that Soviet soldiers would respond more to an anthem that was dedicated only to the Soviet Union rather than to a worldwide movement. The song was originally written as the Anthem of the Bolshevik Party with lyrics in the Alexandrine meter by Vasily Lebedev-Kumach in 1939.

It doesn't matter what country you are from, this anthem was designed to be for the soviet union. A world-wide movement of communism that was meant to spread to every part of the world and unify mankind under one glorious economic plan called socialism that would eventually after many generations birth true communism. A system where every human had their basic needs met no matter their ability or genetic makeup. It was meant to be for everyone to live in a true democracy one by the workers, for the workers not like America where it is by the capitalist elite for the capitalist elite. Since our founding as a country here in America we have ALWAYS been a generational nobility type system with fancy names to disguise the fact that they aren't much different than feudalism. An oligarchy made to put only those with wealth and influence in power. If you are not of the merchant class, meaning the owner of lands and the means of production you weren't supposed to have the right to vote. The fact we do is because of hard fought rights given by the unions and our peoples lives over the generations who fought not only our founders but their descendants and the european powers that slowly crept back over here. The founding fathers weren't nobility like the english ruling class but they were still far above the peasant/working class. Britain itself had mostly overturned its own monarchy in favor of democracy of the wealth holding class and continued to do so after we left. They alongside us are both owned by a ruling elite of rich capitalists who make it next to impossible for any person born on the lower end of the wealth scale to every reach anywhere near the top. In fact its so impossible to reach the .01% that you basically can't get there without being born into a position of power and influence already to then manipulate it further to the top. We will need to gather our strength once more for a second American revolution as it will be needed to birth a true American democracy and bring down the capitalist system from the heart of its power here in the states. May the soviet union rise again, but this time may it engulf the entire world order and bring us all actual freedom and democracy instead of this militarist imperialist empire we call a democracy now.
