Astral Unease (Dark Kosmische Music)

- Wanted to experiment a bit with different gear combinations.
In this piece, I used the Lyra-8, RoAT, and Pipe from Romantic Engineering (SOMA).
The RoAT is being fed to the the Lyra-8 through the ext in. Lyra-8 output is being processed with some granular, and sent out into the Pipe for reverb.
Enner is being used for minor feedback drones and electroacoustic textures and being fed into the Cosmos.
Another piece perfect for a soundtrack, for a scene depicting what your title suggests. ❤

Tomorrow something special is supposed to arrive, and I will definitely be pairing it with the Lyra, pipe, and cosmos to start :) It might be a bit before I have anything ready on that front, I will have to teach myself a few new skills before I can get to work haha

Towards the end, it'd have better to transition into a new piece in full, but I haven't bothered composing any actual songs lmao. I probably should continue to extend my recording break, but I have that Azzam bells stuff arriving tomorrow and I'll be experimenting away again lol

"Astral Unease" is a truly unique and disturbing journey into the depths of the cosmos. Your description of the synthesizers used - Lyra-8, RoAT and Pipe - already creates an expectation of experimental and dark sounds.
Using RoAT as an input to the Lyra-8 is particularly interesting and promises the creation of unique and unpredictable sonic textures. The addition of granular processing and reverb through the Pipe certainly helps create a dense, spatial atmosphere.
Enner's use of feedback drones and electroacoustic textures adds a further layer of eeriness and mystery. I imagine these sounds hover in the background, creating a feeling of tension and unease.
I can't wait to listen to "Astral Unease" again and again and fully immerse myself in the dark kosmische music you have created. Congratulations on the choice of your instruments and your composition technique!
