SOMA Experiment: EMF Theramin. (Enner+Ether V2+Pipe)

Dug a bit deeper into the combo due to a question that ‪@3SpeedBananaSeatMedia‬ asked on my last video.
This is a sound exploration experiment using the Enner's EMF output to play the Ether's EMF microphone, while also playing the Enner itself. I experimented a bit with different pipe algorithms to see what would happen.
I was surprised to get bagpipe sounds, as well as a theramin-esque capability with the Ether and hand proximity.
Also, sorry for the stupid "Camo" overlay, considering I own the damn software, they shouldn't have a watermark template as the default setting....

I've been hunkered down reconfiguring my rig and experimenting away behind the scenes. I have been finding some interesting gear combos. I've been back into my EMF oriented sound design recently and will probably be pretty sparse on posting for a while.
Tomorrow is my free day and I can finally catch up on your recent releases!

Yeah....I have been taking a break, I bit off more than I can chew and I have too much to explore lmao.
This experiment came out really cool, and today I have been refining settings on my instruments to turn my body into a big proximity modulator haha

I am refining this rig and will tune it up properly. I got the Ether dialed in to give me a 6-8 dB volume swell with proximity, which is a very cool feature to have with drones and effects.
I am gonna see if I can get consistent bagpipe sounds and mess with the ether to create a bowing/pumping feel, it'll take some time for me to figure it out as I'm pretty sure this is a new way to play these SOMA instruments haha

I'm glad you thought it was cool. It was definitely an unexpected behavior, but I am so happy that I stumbled into it.
I'm going to continue to experiment with how far I can take the EMF playing style with the Enner. I think I actually prefer the sound of the Ether's EMF over Enner's output itself, haha.
There is a cutting edge, experimental EMF synthesizer that has been teased, and I am working on getting myself involved with the device development in some capacity. It would be a perfect fit for my rig, especially with all of my body patching synths and Electronics.
Fingers crossed, I hear more about it soon.
Worst case, I will buy 3 more SOMA ethers and use 4 of them with the Groc and Enner to create a technological performance with EMF mics/synths and granular. Then I can do a "wireless" performance with the enner and proximity.
I've already begun the planning stage for the concept haha
