Great video Jay. I have the exact same speakers and stock head unit except I have a Premier MAA4 .400 amp & HD14.AWK install kit for my 2023 RG3. I have not installed my amp yet. What would be the settings on the amp after radio flash please? Mostly rock music I listen to. Thank you....
@@chilichad we only give amp settings with our plug n play amps. If bought from volunteer audio we would have set it on a oscilloscope before it shipped
Jay, any idea what air cleaner this owner installed? I was thinking Arlen Ness, maybe? With the exception of the air cleaner, I have the Siouxicide Choppers bars and engine guard currently and I had the same sissy bar on my RGS with the Navy luggage bar. Love their stuff. BTW I called your office today to get more information as I have put a hold on the Hog Tunes system and favoring a full system for both my wife and my RG3. I want lowers with the SV165's but the wife is totally against lowers on the RG3. She wasn't a big fan of lowers on our previous Tri Glides and my RGS. I am still in the early research stage with options you offer and I realize this may not be the best forum to communicate an audio system purchase, but here we are. My question is do you have any walk away vids from just the Stage 2? I realize the speaker issue with crossovers and frequency distribution, but I'm very curious as to what her bike would sound like with the Stage 2 and the SoundStream HDHU.14si. As for the lowers on my bike, I'm kinda in a dilemma. Next week my RG3 is going to the Harley paint shop for a Redline Red paint job. With the black out RG3 and that red it is a great look, same as I had on my RGS. I had plans on getting the Advanblack lowers and eventually adding speakers to them, just unsure which ones before seeing your vids. Advanblack does sell the Redline Red color matched lowers but I see and discussed with your rep today that you also sell lowers and that you have a local place to color match. Well, now that's interesting! I guess I can figure this out later. BTW great vids you are publishing. Very easy to follow. Keep up the great work!

I do suggest not using the advanblack lowers because of low build quality and a poorly designed speaker pod, our ported pods sound much better. It has been along time since I did a walkway with a stage 2 and it had a smaller amplifier than we currently use. Our hertz stage 2 is the best 2 speaker system I have heard and very loud. Night and day better than hog tunes. I have a video on another rg3 coming soon where I go over the lowers in greater detail.
hi jay, is solid/stripe positive or negative at the speakers with the hertz amp and lowers or do they all just to have the same polarity? after checking, i am off from the uppers to the lowers. thanks.
I just bought a FLTRT RG3 , how many watts and channels does a the stock radio have ? Can I change the the stock speakers only to improve the sound and loudness ? Without a amp and not have to flash the bike? plug and play ? Also is there a way to boost the antenna signal Thank you Vince Faiella
Replacing the speakers without adding an amp will add clarity and some volume but to get significant increase in volume and mid bass you will need an amplifier. We can go over your questions better if you call us at 1-844-30AUDIO. Antenna reception only gets better with a tall mast antenna

Hi Jay, any idea why my radio doesn't show the song and artist on the screen while using Sirus / XM via Bluetooth? i am seeing not provided, unknown artist on the screen when I am connected via Bluetooth to Sirus. The audio is playing fine but I can't see the info on my screen.

Striped wire is negative

Correct our lower adapters are much better and do attach to the advanblack lowers

The app is not sending out the information, the radio can only display what the app sends

We will be showing a full build soon that goes over the crash bar but yes a stock full size bar fits without issue
