When most people think of post-abortive pain, they think of the mother. But one man shares his struggle to deal with the aftermath of abortion and tells why it's a problem for men too.
Thank you so much for being vulnerable and for your transparency. It makes a huge difference. My heart is broken for you. I know your pain as I aborted too. Prayers and hugs. May God heal you and use you greatly.
Went through one 8 years ago - numb is pretty spot on. The longing for what you now understand to be huge and the magnitude of this as you get older and more aware of life is immense. I don’t know if it gets easier but at the moment it’s only got harder….
@@berniestephens4506 For me, it gets harder. No longer the playboy and childless, I can't even walk down the baby supply aisle at the grocery store without being emotional.
@@xnihilo64 I know man, it really sucks. Can’t shake the guilt of it being my fault either - If only I’d been more supportive, if only I’d been more mature and reassured her that everything would turn out okay and I’d be there no matter what. As a 22 year old boy/man I just didn’t have that mindset, I didn’t have that awareness or courage. Now here I am 30 going on 31 and think about it constantly. Waking up every morning feeling numb and empty. I guess knowing I’m not alone helps but it’s still so so tough.
I had an abortion with “the love of my life” it all started as a high school thing , the love of your life right, young ,sexy, and popular anything was possible right? WRONG. I don’t know what has got thru women’s heads that a country that absolutely looks down upon murderers , homicides, killings, yet they allow Abortions 😢
Fouth and Fifth wave feminism have gone too far. Father's rights must be protected. Otherwise, the secret abortions that often occur lead to mistrust (once a man learns); he doesn't know if the child is his, even if it is the father's child; he has the right to help determine (with mate) if abortion is valid for their relationship, etc. The man has the right to stay in the relationship or leave, just like the woman, but medical institutions want the body parts from the fetus/baby, so they don't care about the male/female relationship. Black women are disproportionately getting abortions and c-sections (there is a classism and racism issue in medical institutions, that is often swept under the rug).
Abortion should not be forced on teenagers. And as for “right to choose”, the baby’s grandmother was extremely abusive into coercing her daughter into killing her grandchild.
Then why do some men just say to the girl to do what they want to do with it and they will support them and not even put their feelings into it even after been asked ?

Amen! I know an autistic man who lost a child to abortion. He still grieves his child 15 years later.
@@nicolecorrado1959 I know one also that gets depressed due to the abortion and his loss of power, and loss of a beautiful child.

That's a very good question!
Right
Cowardice and being conditioned to believe that it is solely a woman’s choice, which legally it is.
