What a great audit! So happy to see "Pedro in the chat" as "Pedro on camera" hahah. Really great feedback from you and I love the transformation that happened during the session. Congrats to Pedro :) and all the best!

I absolutely love this guy. I love that he’s passionate about his niche. And I think there is potential there. He just may need to shift a bit to the yoga community that spends. It’s out there for sure. And he’s an authority on the niche which is awesome. Nice designs. Smart guy. Good luck to him!

Can you combine your coaching experience with mindfulness? That would be super cool!

Oh man... I know exactly what Pedro is going through with this world traveling, spiritual, wellness and art (photography and other). I want my own shop to share all these different experiences I've had traveling the world... but in the end it becomes a sort of convenience store for exactly these types of festival going spiritual free people! Too many niches to pick from.
It's hard to find what the audience really is because we're all so differently free in our thinking. Even tho we enjoy mostly the same things.
I settled for fun psychedelic art with lots of geometric patterns, and I've had to build an audience that is coming to Etsy now.
I'm nowhere near 10k a month but getting there organically with Chris and Scott's help for sure. Thanks for that by the way guys
You can do it too Pedro.

Amazing energy in this shop edit. It was quite inspirational. One this: be careful with QR code in photos no-matter where you place them. I had a chat with Etsy and actually they dont allow anything that could potentially take people away from Etsy which included QR-codes. You are not even allowed to use QR-codes toward Etsy hosted Pattern shops, so they are rather strict.

I’m sure there are some POD providers that sell yoga mats. That could be a good product to try. Maybe towels or water bottles for people have have while they do yoga or meditating.

Instead of copying popular product ideas like the birthday candle, I think coming up with an even better idea to out-compete the popular ideas would be better. Easier said than done, of course. Some good ideas to do that in this video. Even if you had the idea, you might need the advertising, email list, initial sales, etc to get the algorithm to serve you up to the masses?
I agree with Brand Creators we don't want to put all our "eggs in the Etsy basket". I started with a WooCommerce website of my own (Wet Rock) and expanded to Etsy because it is difficult to drive traffic to an unknown site without an email list or already-popular social media. Creating social media with regular content to build an audience seems like the usual suggestion. That seems to be a pretty slow and time-consuming process. I would like to hear other practical tips on how to bring people to a website.
I have no advertising budget so, I guess I am still hunting for my own "better idea" to grab the attention of shoppers and funnel them to my shopping carts, LOL 🙂 Thanks for the thought provoking Videos !

I think I'll keep one theme of meditation to a particular one type of product type. Dont put the same design on all products it will not look good on the branding page( very boring look) . Imagine you have candle as one product type ( one category of health and spirituality) use on that candle product type and can target your particular audience.

May I put my two cents in? I hope you don't mind. Anything Zodiac-related - perfect gift items. For yoga, meditation, spiritual realm - print-on-demand: mugs, candles, aroma oils, yoga mats, water bottles, wall decor, bags, and blankets. The thing to remember: yoga, spirituality mystic arts - generally lower-income demographic. So, focus on the gift items that other people can buy for people who are interested in these things (not what people usually buy for themselves). Matching sets as for Zodiac signs or specific modality (yoga, meditation, reiki....) Freebies and giveaways don't work for this demographic as this is what they are looking for - FREE. You will never convert them into buyers. I would expand designs into pagan, celtic, and shamanism, as it's the same demographic I would also consider marketing to yoga schools, retreats, and festivals (including Renaissance) - large packages with custom designs. Best of luck!!!

Low income demographic? I think it’s the opposite. Especially from my experience.
Manifesting, yoga apparel, crystals, etc, etc … isn’t for the “low income demographic”.

    • @sarasolario9747
      @sarasolario9747 Před měsícem

@CarolCreates I agree. If anything low income are single mom/dads working two jobs raising kids. They don't have time to think about this yet. They're in survival mode.
It's mistly the people who are well off, don't need to work long hours to make rent etc. If the money is coming in, and their basic needs are secure *food shelter. THEN, it's more likely they take up yoga, spiritual growth etc. Obviously there are exceptions, especially recently as our society is learning more about effects of stress on our health. But it's basically Maslows Hierarchy of needs.

Looking at the MtEnso shop, for me it seems to miss out on representing the deep, adventurous, dynamic and interesting personality that the owner has. Also, I find the product images too unclear, too much info in each image and there is no real cohesion in designs. Love the story behind MtEnso, don't see it back really in the shop - other than the "About" section.

Seems like a nice guy, But.. he seems to focused on making cash when he should be incorporating his passion into his business rather than chasing short term sales. If he would do this, the sales would follow. People recognise, respect and follow people who are passionate. That would be his unique selling proposition. Selling stuff you don't care about so you can only work 2 hours will not get anyone noticed. The demand for off religion / new age / wicca spirituality is off the charts but he has to tie it back into his own beliefs for it to work.

Please DO NOT use the term "healing" in any way, shape, form, or suggestion! Pedro's shop will be shut down, it is a violation on Etsy to use "healing". It doesn't matter if it is mental, physical, or spiritual healing.
