Да. А ещё ОНО будет стоять там недолго. Гвозди - это просто жесть, зазоры - палец пролезет, клеим на ПВА без прижатия. И так сойдёт! А ведь многом нравится!

can't say as i've seen anyone use nails as a replacement for biscuits. normally people stay away from hiding metal inside of projects due to future reuse of the material. granted it'll likely be decades in the future but still. Table does look amazing. great job otherwise.
Was going to say the same thing. Biscuits, dominoes, or dowels. I repair old furniture and have to repair tops at times and hitting a nail with my saw or planer would be a bad day.
I was wondering if the craftsman was in an area that might not have been trained or have experienced using biscuits.
In Chile, everyone who uses recycled wood uses a metal detector so as not to damage the tools.
It's a third world mentality to use nails to join furniture easily.
I love the trim attached to the table. I've never seen it done that way. I really like the elongated S pieces, the routing was a good idea. The whole bottom piece that the 'S' pieces attach to is too 'square' (even though it's rectangular) bulky, & and heavy looking. It detracts from the rest of the table. What I think (imho) it would have looked better to make the 'S' pieces larger and more like scrolled 'S's and joined them together, reinforced by a small (thick) hoop shape piece & above it as larger hoop shape. There really isn't a need for a shelf down there.
I really hope I explained is so you could 'see' it in your mind. You have a ton of skill with your hands and I think it w/b great for you to really have a thriving business.
Отличная задумка! Вишенкой на торте, на мой взгляд оказалась "шпонка" на столешнице для фиксации трещины! Если в качестве материала использовать ель/сосну, то можно было бы браширнуть, вскрыть морилкой и "осветлить", товарный вид возрастёт в разы! Успехов вам!

Nice shop. I noticed the video cut away as the Forstner bit traveled on him. I would have built a guide to start the hole. And was surprised no circle cutter was used for the top or the arched sections. Clearly different techniques. But a very fine result!!

Я бы еще добавил скругления R10-R15 на всех элементах, особенно на опорах стола, плюс туда очень просится добавить сложную резьбу, внутри декоративных углублений. Стол выполнен с заявкой на стиль Барокко, но не доведен до совершенства)
